Jimmy climbed out of the transport. "Damn it there is just too much going on tonight. First that message from the ship and now this. Oh, well, rise and shine everyone! We're moving out. Zeek, message from the ship said that an RTI vessel has picked up our location and is preparing to dispatch a team as we speak. So, yeah, we need to go now."
Jimmy then raised a gun over his head and fired 3 flares into the air above the camp.

Rain got up and looked around, "What the hell's going on?" she arms herself.

theo shielded his eyes from the flares light and sat up "what is it? are we under attack?"

"Something big is knocking down sensors. Sorry about the light show, but I thought it would buy us some time considering the thing or things, are probably accustomed to low light. Oh and for whatever reason RTI has become aware of our position. So we need to go, like now."

Zane looked at Theo when they said that RTI had found them some how. He looked worried.

"Then what the ******** is everyone waiting around for... MOVE!" Zeek hurried over to Theo and picked him up throwing him over his shoulder and tossed him into the transport. "Rain, Mathews, on top and hold on, everyone inside... Jimmy drive and get up there in one piece." Zeek boarded the transport.

Jimmy jumped in and started up the transport. Once everyone was inside he started forward, towards the swamp, as fast as he dared. He turned on the exterior floodlights to try and discourage whatever was stalking them from attacking. But large, dark shapes could be seen moving just inside the shadows, not revealing what they are, just that they're big. As the brush grew thicker, however, they moved closer, still staying out of the light.

Zeek gripped on to the back of Jimmy's seat, "Come on man... can't you get them off our backs?" As the light from the flares fades, the transport was rammed from the left. He shouted to Rain and Mathews up on top "What are you waiting for fire!" Zeek looked out the side window as the transport was sudden hit again from the side. For a brief moment they caught a glimpse of something that looked like a monstrous skinned mole with long legs.

With only glimpes of what it was Rain fired into the dark whenever the creature attacked the Transport "Ugh! This thing gotta be fast... I can't seem to pick it up on the scanners even on night vision.''

The Transport was rammed hard again almost knocking it off the trail. "Hurry it up."

As the transport neared the swamp the creatures became more and more aggressive in their attacks. When the transport got out to the swamp, Jimmy found the land bridge easily and turned the transport easily onto it.
"We made it. Have they stopped their attack?"
