Reaper finally heard the footsteps as well, and spun around to stare down the hallway. They were close. Crawl through another mound of rubble and they'd be well within view. Rapture...a few others.

He turned to look back at Cat, then glanced back down the hall. They needed to get out of here. While he could still use his powers. Giving the hall a rather hard look, he forced some of his fire to flow out of the bottom of his cloak and into the hall. Creating a rather literal fire-wall that would be both an obstacle, and make it difficult to see past.
Okay. That worked. Then his shadow should to, right?
Turning again, he focused on the wall behind Cat, which became pitch black with. Alright. Good. Now to get out of here and...

Then he felt it again. Someone right behind him. Someone who would be able to turn his powers off in the blink of an eye.

"I was simply sent ahead to see how bloody the man was making the halls." Xion replied. "And to capture whatever was left. I must say though...this has been most entertaining. I'm in a rather good mood. So I will give one last chance for you to leave." he continued, a rather amused glint in his eye. "But I will only let one of you go. The choice is yours to make. But within the next ten seconds, I will eradicate the boy's powers. If no one has crossed by then...then you'll both wake up in your own rooms I'm afraid. I don't think I'll have to say it, but the one woman is not happy at all with you. Should you leave, I'll make up some lie about Reaper dumping you over top of a chemical plant. If Reaper leaves...then I can just say he turned tail and ran."

Reaper narrowed his eyes at the man as he turned around. "And that's it? Went through all this trouble and you're only going to let one of us go?"

Xion shrugged. "Perhaps. If it's not interesting, than I might alter your method of transportation so you wind up in one of the rooms that they're keeping someone radioactive. If I haven't done that already."

Reaper looked at her for a beat, then made a very hard line with his lips. He didn't have time to argue her. Rather unwillingly he moved past her to go into the wall. "I'll be back.." he said before disappearing.

The shadow vanished, leaving only Cat and Xion in the hall.
And...some rather unhappy villains behind the fire wall that were now making a fuss.



// He's really more interested in the entertainment than anything else. Plus it wouldn't be hard for him to make Reaper go nutsy in the City if he were close by. And he has to get Star still. >> //

Xion glanced over at the woman, seemingly unfazed by the water. "I suppose you have been through quite an interesting day. As I said I'm in a rather good mood...I suppose I could grant one more favor." he said, glancing back at the wall of fire, and angry shouts.
"Would you prefer to be awake and aware of your surroundings and where you're taken? Or would you rather be unconcious and simply wake up...wherever the woman decides to take you? I doubt she'd want to take her frustrations out on someone who wouldn't feel it."

Xion nodded. "It's for the best. Regain some of your energy for whatever it is they decide to do to you. I imagine..." he said, his voice taking a slight but darkly amused tone. "...that it is going to take your friend quite some time before he returns with anyone. Quite a bit of a walk."

With that little bit to think on, his eye flashed again. This time to put her into a deep, deep sleep.




EXIT Reaper to Surrounding Areas of Gotham.

Xion put his arm out to catch the woman as she fell, then carefully carried her towards the end of the hall that was on fire. He glanced back at the wall that was spurting water, and his eye flashed again. The water shot out of the wall at an unnatural distance. Far enough to begin dowsing the fire in front of them.

Once the fire died out, he was met with quite a few faces. Rapture, who was looking about the room for Reaper. Occasionally he would glance down at the dripping wet figure Xion was holding, but most of his attention seemed to be on the lookout for Reaper. Octavious, both of them, glanced at Cat as well, around the hall, then back to Xion.
Allure...having taken in the emptiness of the hallway, and the unconscious but otherwise unharmed woman in Xion's arms...looked utterly furious once again.

"Where is he...?" she growled.

Xion shrugged. "He left. Took off into one of his shadows less than ten seconds after he'd opened it."

Allure was quiet for a long moment, then looked down at the woman. "....and why isn't she in pieces? There isn't even a drop of blood."

"He just...stopped. Regained his senses somehow." Xion replied.

"Impossible. He was angry enough he should have-"

"I'm not that surprised..." Rapture cut in. "She managed to keep him from attacking me in the room. And he seems to get rather agitated if she's threatened."

Allure relaxed a bit and turned to look at Rapture, a puzzled look on her face. "Is he working for her? He couldn't be..."

"He could." Xion replied. "Rather easily."

Allure turned back to him, then glanced down at the woman. After a long moment, she sighed and relaxed her stance. "We can't afford to kill her then. Take her to one of the rooms that's still secured. Strip her of any equipment she might have still, strap her down. Make sure she can't go anywhere. And for ****'s sake...make sure she CAN'T do whatever the hell it was she did with the ceiling." she hissed.

"I can make sure she--" Rapture started.

"NO." Allure spat, glaring back at him. Then, she paused a moment and relaxed. "...not yet anyway. We'll see how things go once she wakes up." she said, then turned back towards Xion. "Secure her, have Kelsey watch her in the room, then get some power up at the very least. Repair what you can that's in danger of caving in, we'll need a new main generator and computer, and then---"

"Yes." Xion sighed, fading out of sight with the woman. "One thing at a time. Keep that in mind."

// lol. I'm sure if you want to have her wake up in one of the other rooms or something you could. I'm sure It wouldn't take X long to get her settled in.
Still not sure how to go about with Reaper. I know a few things I want to have happen...but they'll take a bit of time. //

// Well, 1.) X would probably assume Allure wanted her completely stripped of equipment and strapped down in a room like the other experiments. Since nothings working right now, biggest difference would be her lacking any wires or anything like that. She'd still have the blanket.
2.) I think he'd let her wake up on her own. He put her in a deep sleep, but he didn't really care how long she was out. If you want it to be after X leaves, then the short blonde haired woman would be the only other one in the room.
3.) Since nothing's working quite yet, I'm sure it would be for Allure to have a nice long chat. Or Charlot...since she'd be more level-headed about the whole thing. //
