Rincewind sighed. Van and Mala seemed to have the conversations of lovers, but he couldn't tell.

Mala hadn't noticed Rincewind's sigh. Instead, she was currently glaring at her brother. "Over all these years, you try to call yourself an adult yet you have yet to mature beyond the age of three." she said to Riley, hoping that this would stop his embarassing implications every five secconds.

"Hey, I call 'em like I see 'em. Besides, five years of traveling together and you two are still doing the will they/won't they dance." Riley said with a smug smile as he shrugged. Van had clearly rubbed off on Riley a little too much over time. The thief god, meanwhile, was sharing in Mala's sentiments and expression, face a little red.

Mala glared, wishing she could hide the pink on her cheeks as well. "You're reading too much into things! I swear I'll tease you relentlessly like this once you get a friend of the opposite sex!"

"Ah, but it wouldn't matter unless they joined our little traveling party. Long distance relationships with one person always traveling and the other staying in town would never work after all." Riley said, maintaing rather smug that he held the upper hand on this subject. By this point, he'd long since figured out the pair's crush on the other.
"I've created a monster...." Van muttered as he rubbed the bridge of his nose.

Mala looked pissed for many moments, then suddenly had an idea. Crocodile tears began to stream from her eyes as she now held a look of sadness and betrayal. "Oh, cruel world! Whatever happened to make my adorable baby brother grow up to be such a heartless monster!" Of course, it was a little over dramatic, but when he was younger the big-sister-crying card almost always worked. She wondered if that was still the case.

Ceri smiled as the mob came near her. "I'm sorry. I don't think so." SHe snapped her fingers, and then a puff of smoke appeared. She dissapoofed into the cellar that reclosed itself, using it as a quick escape. It went strait to the tunnels. She then started to run, her sword banging at her hip. SHe then thought, "s**t, I left my staff at the house...Oh well..." She was out of breath by the time she cleared the tunnels and went to the woods.

Rincewind stood up, stretching his arms.
"Everyone, shut up!" Vilrath shouted.

For a seccond, Mala forgot about guilt-tripping Riley and glanced back at Rincewind, raising an eyebrow at Vilrath's words. "Jeez, what's got you on the wrong side of the bed?" she asked, an eyebrow raised. The way she was able to speak was a clear indication of the fact that she was so faking the tears that already stopped with their rolling.

Ceri slowed to a walk. She listened closely to the forest, and in the dying light, she could see the tracks of her friends. She smiled, lightly. Nobody knew, and she had worked hard for nobody to tell, that Ceri was a fourth elf, by her mother. She knew her way around the forest, because her mom wanted Ceri to know of her elven heritage.. She breathed deeply. She had not been wandering in so many years, and it felt good to be out in the woods again. She padded silently to the sounds of her friends.

"No one's going anywhere until we get some proper introductions in." Vilrath demanded. "I'm Vilrath, and I'm in this body entirely by accident."

{Van and Riley met up with Mala in Atalus. They talked for a bit, went inside her house, and talked some more. After leaving they met up with Ceri and all went to a resturaunt for a short bit. Upon hearing that Rincewind was going to be hung simply because a demon possessed him, Mala went into a rage and went off to rescue him - Ceri coming along and assisting her. After they escaped the angry mob for the moment, Ceri snuck off to her home with Rincewind and Mala found Van and Riley. The trio escaped to Ceri's home. They talked for a bit. Ceri and Rincewind joined in, they talked for a bit more. A mob of villagers went to Ceri's house to arrest Mala and execute Rincewind. Ceri let them escape through a secret passage, and once they were far enough away they all talked some more. Ceri used a smokebomb or something to distract the villagers as she escaped through the secret passage as well. Now, the four are talking while Ceri is coming towards them. That's what I've kept track of, at least.}
Mala didn't seem all too impressed by Vilrath's attitude, but introduced herself none the less - none of the crocodile tears from before remaining. "My name is Mala D'velle. I'm a graduate from Ardalone's Magical University, ex-priestess of Atius from the Temple of Atalus, and the voice of reason among these two idiots." she introduced herself, motioning towards Van and Riley when she said 'these two idiots'. "It's a pleasure to meet you. Now, I hope whatever crawled up your rear and died is gone by now." she said in a teasing manner.

((Ceri: It wasn't a smoke bomb....It was a misture of herbs and powers that created a mist that distracted my attackers. Me: *cough cough smoke bom cough cough*))
Ceri smiled as she walked into the forest where her friends were. "Well, just so you know, I could hear you from fifty meters away," she said, braiding her hair again to put it into the bun at the nape of her neck. Her vest came a little undone in her escape, causing just the tiniest cleavage to show. She leaned against a tree and continued to mess with her hair. "I suggest you be a tad bit quieter."
