Marx stopped in looked at the doctor. "wow no need to hate the rabbit...I have enough people hating me already." He said crossing his arms. "I need my meds." He said looking at him glaring at him slightly/

Melanie crossed her arms, glancing at the new person in the room. Not really scary, except in a sinister bunny sort of way. Odd-ball costume, really, with all the ones she'd seen that day. She muttered lamely to herself, trying to keep her head on right. "I'd think a Doctor would have more compassion..." She hated to think that people could offer life saving remedies, stitch a wound, and pull out a bandaid without so much as a smile. That's why sure worked with kids, big kids, yes, but they still smiled if she let them skip class for a migrane. The lone pure human in the room, without a bit of knowledge of what was truely going on, tried to figure out why she was in such a bad mood and still hanging around. I could just leave...

Marx's ears twitched as he looked past the doctor. "you have company....you need to be nicer Doc or you'll be put out of buisness..you know how tempers can flare with certain people doc...and I'm the worst..." He said as his eyes flashed red.

Dr. Umada sighed and walked over to the cabinet to grab Marx's usual medicine. "I used to have compassion," he said looking around for the bottle and grabbed it from the shelf "until last year's Halloween." Stopping, he stared at his hands for a moment before turning around and tossing it to Marx. "Don't forget to pay for the prescription. I need my own pain relievers." He closed the cabinet as one of his mechanical arms lit up another cigerette and he put it to his lips. "I don't hate you, I just simply hate this town."

"you just met the wrong person at the wrong time Doc." He said as he opened the bottle and toke a pill. He huffed and closed his eyes. "Don't be like like the shadows Doc...they are the thing that makes people hate this town." He said as he turned and headed to the door

(They annoy me, but hey, even doctors get sick. And smoking is a habit that makes you sick.)

Melanie wrinkled her nose at the smell of ciggarette smoke filling the room. She'd met doctors who smoked before, hell, half the medical majors in college smoked, but she didn't approve of it inside a medical facility. Finally reaching her breaking point, Mel put a hand to her nose and huffed an exagerated gagging noise at Dr.Umada. "I'll be leaving then, you'll have to excuse the sudden departure, I'm allergic to lung cancer." She'd been saying that through high school and on into adulthood, she'd been famous for the phrase in her dorm in college, she'd had to say it over and over so often, especialy around some of her friends. As she went toward the door, her brain flickered recognition of the smoking half metal handed man behind her, but she tried to ignore it. That's stupid, havn't seen him since I graduated, doesn't even have a Facebook...

[I don't approve of smoking either, I just find it ironic xD]

Wait a tick...haven't I heard that before? Dr. Umada thought for a moment. Back to when he was a human...Nah, but he decided to test it anyways. "To hell with it. It's not like I'm going to live forever." That was always his response to a particular girl he met back in college. It kinda irritated him every time, but he didn't care.

Standing there Lee danced slightly with the skeleton's performing thriller in the town square as he danced. Looking around most of the people had left and moved out away from the square the noise from the club still bumping loudly. "Where is doc oc and the bimbo" he muttered rubbing the side of his head as he stood there. He was feeling a bit better and in a more lightened mood since running into Victuz.

The coined phrase just let itself go. "If I have anything to do with it, you might!" Mel froze, hand still over her nose, and her body registered what she'd kept her brain from realizing. Being a medical major they all had funny referances, Melanie's want to find the cure for lung cancer was always her quirk. (And she still full-heartedly wanted it to be found) Umada's had been how he could care less about how long he lived, so long as his patients lived even longer. She swung around as fast as she could, moving her hand from her face as she did so, and the shock in her face was, for want of a better word, palable to anyone within a fifteen mile radius. "Jay?" No one ever called Umada by his name, just by the first letter. "There's no effing way..."

He leaned back against the counter with a blank face. "It's been a while..Melanie" he said pushing back his white hair. It used to be a light shade of a rusty red, but ever since he's been experimented on, his hair changed it's color.

[Oh, and his glasses used to be a small rectangle shape, now it's circular, like Harry Potter's User Image]

Sakoto was running as fast as he could, jumping over graves and dodging tombstones. It was all good until Sakoto tripped and smashed his face right into a tombstone, breaking through it and was dragged on the floor until he slowed to a dead stop. He slowly stood up, a puddle of blood where his face was on the ground. "Ow!" Sakoto cried. Sure, he liked to cut humans up and let there blood shed like crazy, but when it comes to injuring himself, he's like a little crybaby. As the blood seeped from the huge gash in his forehead and his nose, tears were also flowing down his cheeks. "Graci-chan...." He said to her, still crying, "Can we go visit Umada-San? I need a band-aid." he said as he slowly got up, holding his head. He was a bloodthirsty, human slaughtering demon, but bruises so easily and can get beat up so easily as well.

(New eye-lense perscription from Faye, perhaps? smile )(EDIT!)

Melanie stood where she was, hands at her side, and tried to figure out how she'd missed that it was Umada she'd been speaking to. Sure, the hair was different, and definatly the clothes had thrown her off, but it wasn't like he'd become something entirely new. "It has. I havn't seen you since graduation, and the emails stopped a while ago..." So he'd holed himself off in some god-forsaken town covered in fog that ran halloween parties? That didn't seem like Jay. "I thought youd just given up on the old crowd or something..."
~*~

Graceling had run as fast as she could, and when Sakoto tripped she knew something was wrong. Grinding to a halt, she watched as he picked up his face, his eyes full of tears, and she kept her breath steady. She carefully picked her way around gravestones untill she reached him, holding out a hand. "Yeah, let's go see The Doc..." She comented, trying to make light of the situation. "He'll stitch you up in no time..."

[Sort of, it got dropped when she was dragging his unconscious body onto the operating table...I think :3]

"I'm a busy man" was all he said blowing out a puff of smoke. "I don't like computers, that's all. Annoying piece of junk." Umada grumbled under his breath, although it was quite ironic that he himself is also part computer.

Sakoto took her hand and they slowly walked to Umada's clinic. While walking, a light blush fell on Sakoto's face. Sakoto didn't know why he was blushing really. Maybe cause they were holding hands? He didn't know and cared more about his injury. It hurt a lot even though he is a demon. In his true form (which has yet to ever show), he doesn't feel much pain. But in his human form, he bruised very easily and had little pain tolerance. It might be since he's only 9 in human form. They reached Umada's slowly opening his door. "Umada-San," Sakoto started to say, his eyes red from crying and he face and clothes stained with blood. "C-can you give me a band-aid? I tripped and his my head. It's bleeding really badly along with my nose. It really hurts!" He said to him, his nose still bleeding pretty rapidly and the gash on his forehead running down blood on his face.

Graceling had been holding hands with Sakoto untill they got to the clinic, but as soon as the door open she dropped her right hand from his left and swept inside, watching the scene she figured would unfold. Watching people, now that was true fun.

~*~

Melanie had been about to respond to Umada, saying perhaprs that he could have written still, but then the door opened. The girl she'd seen fall into the grave before swept inside like she owned the place, leaving a very dirty, very bloody boy in the doorway. For a moment her face flushed with panic, but then she recovered. She was, afterall, a nurse. Remembering that despite the blood, headwounds weren't that serious unless the patient was unconscious, she chose instead to let Jay have control of the situation. It was his clinic, afterall.
