-----ι heard Jack and the Mizukage clearly, but I couldn't bring myself to react to their words. Unfortunately, shock did that to a person. It was amazing I'd been able to put any pieces together to discover the blood's healing properties, because I couldn't think anymore. The dead body lying before me had been my doing.
-----The blood of this man would be a savior to the many people he had infected. But how would they see me for this? Maybe they would say I saved them, which is hardly true. I cowered when I should have been trying to protect the others. Or if not them then the defenseless people still trapped in the buildings. I couldn't help but wonder how many people had died when the building collapsed.
-----Even in that last moment, instead of being able to do anything, I'd froze. Jack was forced to stop the man from killing me, even in his agonized state. And then I had killed a man who was unable to defend himself.
-----It hadn't been in cold blood. I understood that, but why did this have to happen? Why did we insist on killing one another. So many had died at the hands of one person, and now that person's burdens were the blood on my hands.
