So hate was an understatement. He despised her interference. At that moment she doubted herself. Had she really done the right thing? Befriending Samuru when she had. He had been such an angry and lonely person before. Her first time meeting him he had allowed himself to get beat up so badly for nothing. Her brows furrowed together. No. I wasn't wrong nor do I regret it. Jae had lost her father too but her family did not turn out like the Samniitai's. Dark circumstances had intervened and she pitied them for it but she did not condone their misfortune and allow it to stand for an excuse for why they were the way they were. "See, that's the thing...I didn't take your brother anywhere. He was there. The whole time. You could have reached out to him anytime you wanted to." Which was the truth. Her smile was forced, painfully so. Samuru had been in a destructive and dark place. The siblings who claimed to value the importance of 'blood ties' hadn't seen what was going on in their own brothers heart. I regret nothing. Jae was calm, the calm before the storm. Circumstances, whatever they were, Jae would fight to see someone she claimed to love dearly, no matter what obstacles were in her way. "The worst part about it is that I, who have not a single drop of blood to connect me to him, would have died looking for him. I still would. I'll protect him, even if it's from his own family." She declared, her conviction strong. Blood bonds were something she hated. They were cold and lonely excuses to love someone. Her clan had kicked her mother out just because she had loved someone who didn't share the same bloodline. How warped and twisted things could become when blood was involved.
Azure gaze flickered over to the incoming person. Something was afoot. Top priority. Looking away from the person she continued to stare at Rakuin. Now she was serious. She wasn't going to say sorry for having become a part of Samuru's life and she was going to make this very clear to these siblings. She didn't want to cause friction between the three but she wasn't going to run off like a scared puppy either. "Are we done? I wonder..." She muttered, turning to watch as the person made their hasty retreat. "Hmmm I can protect you. Aren't you curious to see who is knocking on our door?" Her expression was still blank, only small flicker of mischievousness in her eyes gave her away. She had intended on finding out two things from this Sanmiitai and she had accomplished both. He was capable, very calculative and was wrapped around the importance of family. His sense of personality was coming easier to Jae now and now she knew his stance on her interaction with his Samuru. None of that was written on those ridiculous papers handed over to her when she needed to evaluate her new 'team'. "You could learn something there... Come on! Come with me, it gets so boring." She whined, falling into a mock pout. Her gaze still held that spark. She was finding it fun trying to get under his skin.
He observed her carefully. She seemed to think on what he had, in fact, told her. She processed it, and inevitably, he should have known. The vocal girl had far too many opinions for it to be over, so long as he addressed it as a question. His face remained passive, but inevitably he knew just what it was that he was showing. His eyes betrayed how he felt. "You make it seem so simple, outsider," the young man answered her, "You seem unaware of just how confining life tied into the clans of Konoha can be, must be a b*****d yourself. Not near as good as my brother." She was pressing the wrong buttons, and now... It was time for deflection. He had things to keep hidden, and clearly she wasn't quite aware of how tied down most of the siblings were. No matter how they despised their mother, blood was blood. He paid no mind to the feline-esque girl as she vanished. She teased him, and frankly, he didn't care. Konoha could be smashed before his own attempts came to fruition.
He bit his lip. He knew the cover story, and he should have been able to make his way through to make reasoning that was plausible, but the girl already knew too much. She'd grown close to Samuru, and learned of who he was. His gazed leveled out a moment, before exhaling. "Jae Ketsueki, you may have been appointed a leader of a squad with us, but I'll tell you this now. Once and only once," Rakuin spoke boldly, while closing the distance between himself and Jae. His eyes smoldered. "Get between us, and I'll kill you myself. Now, we're done." She didn't take being polite terribly well, so it was time for him to stop dancing about. "I'm sure Lord Noctis won't hold me accountable for being so very exhausted after combat with you."

Expression shift. She looked pensive once more, cupping the end of her chin and closing her eyes while she thought his words over. Outsider. So to them its black and white, no grey areas. At the word 'b*****d' she opened her eyes and stared directly at him, mouth dropping open in shock. "How did you know?! Stalker!" She inched back, hugging herself as if she was exposed to the warm air. b*****d? Haven't been called that in awhile. It used to bother her when she was younger but not anymore. Getting angry only confirmed that it effected her. Jae wasn't so weak as to let some silly label define who she was and the limits she could go. Jae was stronger than most in her clan and was happy she hadn't grown up under their direct influences. That and the fact that she didn't want to have to marry someone with the same bloodline as her. Ew... She shuddered. "Not near as good as my brother" Jae knew that Samuru was not exactly like the other two but was he a b*****d as well? She blinked in confusion as she tried to put the pieces in place. Squatting she held out a hand to him as if that would stop him from talking as she went through the motions of her epiphany. Samuru was a triplet. He didn't inherit the same bloodline. He was a 'b*****d'.... The vile words that had been spoken by his mother returned to her. Jae's eyes widening slightly. He had been singled out. By his own mother. Confinement... Probably by the clans as well if Rakuin was so uptight about that. These siblings probably leaned on one another and licked each others wounds but that didn't explain the condition Samuru had been in before. He was so broken... Was it because he thinks he murdered his father? Jae's face paled. She didn't believe he was capable of murder. She wouldn't believe that but Samuru had convinced himself. So he was scorned... Jae scratched her head, letting out a small huff. This was like some dark and twisted story plot.
At her name Jae stood, coaxing an eyebrow as he approached her. He was like a predator approaching prey. Her brain slowed down at the threat, the pink haired woman maintain eye contact with Rakuin. As he talked about Noctis not holding him accountable the gears began to turn once again. She smiled then, her smile very out of place despite the death threat. Clasping her hands behind her back she let out a small sigh. "Depends on your interpretation of getting in between you guys is. If my connection to Samuru and my presence around him is considered getting 'between' you guys then..." Her smile slowly began to fad, Jae returning a smoldering gaze. The blue in her eyes seemed almost as dark as the seemingly black in his own eyes. "I'll say this 'once and only once', I'm not scared, Rakuin Sanmiitai." What was it about predators? If you ran that only sealed your fate? She wouldn't leave Samuru's side, she cared too much about him. Evidentially. These talks were only serving to steer her toward her own hearts revelation. Samuru...Jae loved Samuru. More than friends, village and family. He was her family and if she had to die to maintain the relationship they had so be it. She wasn't going to go down without a fight. It took her a moment to relax her tensed muscles and expression. He loves his brother, that's why he's doing this. Didn't make it any more tolerable.
This woman was hard to get a read on, but the deflection seemed to work well enough in the instance. He'd said far too much in this encounter, and frankly so, he was glad to have directed it away into territory that she didn't seem to want to speak of either. She hadn't expected what he said, considering how little he knew about the girl from down the hall. He'd leave it that way, if he could. It was all but impossible to maintain conversation like this with her. She hadn't moved, when he approached, but he'd watched her movements either way. She spoke on interpretation of the system, and onward yet. She affirmed that she wasn't afraid, but then again, who needed to affirm that fact? A statement, that despite all else, aimed to undermine its essence. "Definitions may vary. You'll know when you overstepped yourself, when you find steel through your sternum," Rakuin answered her ever so simply. Her gaze delivered to him determination, but he'd revel in the day it may falter. "Now, I'm sure you'll find me again later, I'm going to rest." A brief bob of his head, to signal the ram that it was time to depart. "If I see either of them, I'll be sure to tell them that you're waiting to try and slap around another of us." He made his way around the woman, toward his spear. He had to fix that one up after he rested.

Then the very next thing she knew her mobility had been cut and she was being drug under then all of a sudden she was up to her shoulders in mud screaming bloody rage. She glared at Mashi and said," I dont care if you won or not GET ME OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW." As she spoke she began rocking side to side trying to free herself on her own accord.
Seeing his student trapped beneath the dirt gave Masahiro a few dirty ideas, the best of which was to flip a bucket over her head and sit down to eat lunch, but he decided better against it. Instead of berating her farther Masahiro knelt down to reach for her, but realized just how well underneath she was. So following the process of thought that she would need to be broken free Masahiro withdrew his sakabato and stood above her, the blade glinting light into her face as he drew it up and placed a hand upon the blade, forcing the pure energy of his chakra through the blade as he did so. [12/14]
"Stay very still, young Uchiha. You lost this combat fairly and I don't want to see you hurt as I try to free you." He whispered down to her as he let his other jutsu fade from around them, the electrical chakra strings shimmering bright white for a moment before they faded out of existence, a ball of dirt and sand falling out of the sky behind them, and his clones dissipating.
Once the chakra scabbard formed itself in full the teacher took a step back from his student's pseudo-grave and drew his sword high with both hands, focusing the angle and chakra signature of Koan in his mind before he cast the blade down in an angled strike, sundering the ground beneath and around her with the pure force of chakra and not a touch of malice. [13/14]
When the dirt settled and cleared the skies between them Hatake-sensei approached her, holding a hand out to his student before grabbing her wrist ultimately to wrench her up from her disheveled state. His free hand cast aside the chakra on his blade with a flick of the wrist and re-sheathed the sword in a backhanded motion. This young woman had fared better against him than any other Genin who had challenged him in the forests had. Still he laughed as he looked down to her, his perceptions still a little distorted.
"Oh, there is this as well." He mused as he rolled his shoulders back and forced the chakra in his body to expel, forcing out the genjutsu she had placed him under.
"You played it admirably, young Miss. But your emotions and your want to live up to or surpass what he set for you are still triggering reckless responses in you. I am glad, however, to see you began thinking outside of the box a little there. Your first step in my training is passed." Then once more as she was chided for her lack of emotional control and then commended for putting up as much of a fight as she did. When he hoisted her from the dirt and dust she began patting herself down in an attempt to get the dirt from her robes though she failed as much as she succeed. Once she was satisfied she turned and said," If you will excuse me this fight has been enlightening as to my flaws and weaknesses and they must be seen to." She bowed once more before turning and making her way towards the academy. If he wanted to talk to her he could find her there. After all she know knew where her flaws lay and her natural quest for perfection wouldn't allow her to ever let them be.
Well. This could have gone in a different direction. A death threat, that wasn't so bad. Sometimes it was better to look at things as a 'glass half full'. Waving her hand to him she watched as he retreated to rest. A small string of laughter escaped her lips as he mentioned letting his siblings know she was coming for them. Jae did in fact feel like slapping around someone right now. Samuru, you are so dead. Letting out a quick sigh she headed for the gates to check out the commotion that had been stirred. More than likely it was just Noctis blowing s**t out of proportion. There was going to be a cluster of shinobi already there she bet.
Now five hours after he had gotten lost by the river, Reiojika now hung upside-down from a rather conspicuously large tree's branch. "Geez. Now where the hell am I?" Reiojika asked aloud to noone in particular. Reiojika then climbed right-side up onto the tree branch and sat cross-leggedly for a moment, a looking of irritation, but stern concentration on his face. He would stay like this for a while, a couple hours, at best. What was he concentrating so hard on? How to get to the Hokage's mansion, of course!
Suddenly, Reiojika's eyes would dart open and he would just as suddenly dart off again.
『 Masaru had made his way into the forest of Konoha. He didn't really expect to find anybody here, but it was worth a shot. He didn't want the thought of anybody dying because he chose not to search somewhere. "Hello! Is anybody out here!?" He would call out in short intervals as he made his way down paths and through thick brush. On his way he would find a few people that were out looking for animals, or who had gotten lost when they ran from the roar that echoed throughout the forest from earlier. He was finding a lot more than he expected. After a while of calling out and grouping everyone together, he had roughly 15 people, more or less; ranging from children to elderly. He would much rather just point and go, but he decided to lead them out of the forest himself before going. Arriving at the forest, Jun ran along the ground and soon found the renegades that were setting fire to the forest. "You know, you guys shouldn't play with fire." she called, standing from behind the group with her hands on her hips. She looked rather bored as she added "So are you guys going to cut it out and come quietly? Or is this going to go the cliche route and I have to beat you guys up first?"
Even with the approach of the ninja, the convicts didn't seem to care much. While the ninja of this village had imprisoned them, these new arrivals had busted them out, and then killed one of them when he didn't want to comply. With more fear of them, then their was of ninja, the convicts continued what they were doing. Unhindered and unobstructed by this ninja's arrival, the convicts continued to throw more bottles of fire everywhere, catching the area ablaze. it was only a matter of time before it was all down to the ground.
Three of the convicts even threw a few of the bottles in the Ninja's direction, hoping it would bust and begin to burn the ninja alive from head to toe

Well, she'd screwed up on saving the forest... at least she'd managed to save the Ramen Shop. Sighing when she saw three chuck bottles at her, Jun dodged to the side to get out of the way of the flames that would spring up where the bottles landed. The heat of the fire was bothersome but not too much, she did use Katon techniques and had some resistance to the heat. Hopefully things wouldn't get hotter though...
After avoiding the bottles, Jun ran straight to the nearest convict. When she was within striking range, her body would seem to compress with one step. Then on the next big step, her hips would twist, giving more force to the straight punch she sent to the convict's chest.
