 Liviana stepped forward cautiously. "Professor, I think I'm going to go ahead and fight the dementor, since Trompeur is busy."
She steadied herself, held her wand out, gripping it as if letting go meant falling into the earth's core. Liviana closed her eyes and thought back to the time she got her letter from Hogwarts, the moment she knew she wasn't just an ordinary girl. She opened her eyes and narrowed them as the dementor materialized from its trunk.
"EXPECTO PATRONUM!" she screamed, and a small, silver, calico kitten pounced out from the tip of her wand. The tiny ball of light bounded at the dementor, but suddenly dissolved into its dark aura. Liviana presently noticed the chilling air, and the tight ball of terror in her chest, making it hard to breathe, and harder to concentrate. It was like someone was gripping her heart, squeezing the life from it. She heard voices from her past; a man and a woman arguing. Their yells turned to screams, and they combated with words as if they were rapiers. Liviana began to sob, reliving her home life, what no one was supposed to know about.
Liviana's tears did not calm the verbal swordplay, as the duelers began to cut her down too. "Why do you think you can do the right thing without our permission? You can't do anything on your own, you little brat!" the female voice crooned. The male's booming voice continued the assault, "You always thought you were so much smarter than everyone else. Now you can't even get off your high horse to complete this lesson! How does it feel to crawl on the ground with the rest of us?" She held on for as long as she could, but the voices tore down her spirit to nothing. Liviana lost consciousness on the floor of the classroom before the dementor could be sealed away, tears still streaming down her face. (You guys said you wanted something to do...so save me! mrgreen )

Aludra Yvette... Aludra saw Liviana hit the ground, her crying in earnest. The dementor drew nearer to the body in the floor, its hood pushed back and its mouth seeming to be pulled back into a smile, happy to finally feed on the delacate soul. Aludra shot up out of her seat, rushing in front of Liviana with her wand in hand, things moving too fast for her to register what to do. "E-expecto Patronum..." she stuttered, only a puff of mist emitted from her wand. The darkness washed over her like a douse of cold water. "N-ne..." but she couldnt finished her cry for help. The dementor was so close to her face, leaning in... for the kiss. ...6th Year Slytherin ((DUN, DUN, DUN!!! I'm in mortal danger too ^^ Save the poor maidens?))

((Haha, Im hoping for a dramatic rescue from the top student... second top since I am top X3 No Im kidding lol. And we do make our own fun! I actually wanted a brawl in the great hall with Steff, but that didnt happen yet.))

(Lol! I'm pretty sure you are both the valedictorians. I was noticing a lot of animosity between you two...I've never actually role played before, so it's hard to tell what feelings are real and what's not in the posts...I'll figure it out! whee )

((I actually was planning on having a Harry/Draco relationship with him, but it blossomed into a roleplay crush ^^ Im sure you'll figure it out, its just like writing a story jsut with alot of people.))

Without even thinking of the danger to myself I jumped quickly out of my chair and began to race across the room toward Liviana, and Aludra lying helplessly on the floor watching as the Dementor slowly removed its hood.
Digging down for a powerfully happy memory, I point my wand at the Dementor and cry "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" A large silver Dire Wolf erupts from my wand and tackles the Dementor who was inch's away from Aludra's mouth, pushing it away and back towards the magical chest. With my Patronus pushing the Dementor pack into the chest, I point my wand at the lid which slams shut. For a little extra protection I point my wand again and the chest and say “Colloportu” and with a click the chest is now locked shut.
With the threat eliminated I return my attention to the girls. I walk over to Liviana point my wand at her chest and say “Rennervate” Liviana gives a little spasm and awakens. I then turn my attention to Aludra and ask “Are you alright? Here you both need some chocolate, Accio Bookbag” my bag shores over the room and lands next to me. Reaching inside I retrieve a very large piece of Honeydukes chocolate and give some to both Aludra and Liviana.
Okay when you have finished that, and start to feel a little better I’m taking you both to the Hospital Wing for the nurse to check over.”

((When she started out she was really going for that typically I'm better than you Slytherin attitude, being quite rude to the teachers and other students with some of the things she was saying. After time she idk mellowed out, and I noticed that she began to act more warm and dropping hints with her character toward mine.))
0-Azula-0 ((Haha, Im hoping for a dramatic rescue from the top student... second top since I am top X3 No Im kidding lol. And we do make our own fun! I actually wanted a brawl in the great hall with Steff, but that didnt happen yet.))
((And you shall receive a dramatic rescue. I wouldn't go far as to say that I'm the top student. There are quite a few other rather intellect students.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra just stared at the spot where the dementor had been moments before, unable to speak or move. She felt freezing cold, her insides empty... no feelings just emptiness. She had tried to talk but nothing came out, just little rasps of breath. After a few moments she crossed her arms over her protectively and nodded her head, her eyes still wide with terror. ...6th Year Slytherin ((Well, Aludra is a new student to Hogwarts and I decided maybe to have her be a bit of a p***k and over time, her begin to realize that shes not all high and mighty once she got a few friends. Also, in my opinion, you are one of the top students.))

Liviana suddenly awakened to a familiar Gryffindor's figure and the sweet smell of Honeydukes' triple dark chocolate fudge bar. She feebly tries to sit up, but her mind is sent reeling when she sees Aludra's pale face, and the magically locked chest rattling as though it was guarding the entrance to Hell. She lowered herself back onto the ground, and weakly took Telvanni's chocolate.
"Thank you so much for saving me, Telvanni," she whispered. She turned her head in Aludra's direction. "And I'm so sorry for putting you in danger...both of you in danger." She rested her head against the cool, stone ground. She still couldn't get those voices out of her head. Why did they always have to come back to ruin everything? (Yeah, I guess that's character development for you! I'm learning to not just do things...I add my own commentary now too! razz )

I offer a hand to each of the girls, and slowly raise them to there feet. Putting an arm around the shoulders of both, I slowly walk them down to the Hospital Wing."Aludra you'll feel better soon, eat some of that chocolate, and Liviana I don't blame you for what happened, even the mightiest wizards or witch's can fail at times. I'm just glad that I was able to intervene in time."
((I have plans to add a little more depth to my character, as well as what I plan to do in the future, but mainly I try to keep what I do linear, so like when I got hurt in my duel with Professor Kaydot I stayed in the Hospital Wing until I was cured.))

Aludra Yvette... She jerked her head in an attempted shake. Anything she would put in her stomach would immediantly be forced back as her stomach was doing so many flips and turns, it was like a private roller coaster. "No, 'm fine." Aludra muttered, her feet shuffling across the floors. As long as Liviana was alright she didnt really care about anything else at the moment. "Your alright then, arent you?" she said shakily, giving a glance towards her. ...6th Year Slytherin

Liviana's knees were still weak, so she leaned on Telvanni while they walked out of the classroom. "Thanks," she said meekly. She looked around to Aludra. "I'll be fine, but you almost got your soul sucked out! Are you okay!?"
She was still trying to process what had happened. She reached up to brush a strand of her strawberry blonde hair out of her eyes, and realized she was still crying. She quickly wiped the tears from her eyes, embarrassed. Liviana remembered she still hadn't actually eaten the chocolate, but had succeeded in melting part of it. She popped the gooey chocolate in her mouth, and instantly felt a wave of relief coursing through her body.
