tiny14xx I demand artsu of Rieux and Decius! emotion_donotwant  " Hey. Wake up!" A gloved hand grew closer to Jace's sleeping face, and in that hand was the scalpel. The sharp tip came dangerously close to his cheek, barely touching the skin, but then it turned and used its flat side to pat said cheek. " Wake up!" The one holding the scalpel, a disgruntled looking teacher with slicked back mahogany hair (although a few strands still stayed in front of his face) and stitches running diagonally from his face, clenched his jaw. The brat with the weak heart had fallen asleep, most likely so his body could work on both his heart and his cold. Now, that was just no fun, he had so many experiments he had wanted to try. Suddenly, Dr. Rieux turned his head slightly and stared out at Michael. He did say he wanted to help in any way that he could, and there were plenty of experiments needing to be done... As the doctor's eyes glinted dangerously, and maybe even with excitement, he heard a new voice and turned his upper body halfway to see who it was. The doctor's stoic face didn't change one bit when he was told the situation. " A nine-tailed wolf?" he echoed in monotone. There was another pause, as if to let such strange words get registered by everyone, then the doctor fully faced the new boy and walked over to him. " That entirely depends on what's wrong with him. Is this the one?" he asked and put a gloved hand to the side of Jacoby's head, pushing it aside lightly so he could get a better look at the other boy's face. Ezra shrank back when the doctor glowered at him. He had the scent of death around him, and lots of blood. Eww, those stitches across his face were especially creepy. It was like his face was cut in two and that was just holding it together. It was safe to say that the mute boy was scared of him, and he did not like being this close to him.

Awesome Nerd ...I must draw that...They would be rather interesting to draw. M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Michael almost shrunk back when he saw the glint in the man's eye...it was just so freaking unsettling! Every time he saw it he wanted to turn around and just walk away but Michael stood his ground. It would be rude of him to be so judgmental of the doctor whose work was very important. Just as Michael was going to offer for him to try another experiment to pass the time, He heard a voice behind him and turned around, stepping aside so that the doctor could deal with his patients. They seemed peculiar and Michael thought that the doctor might find that interesting enough to test. One thing he learned from the man is that he tends to observe different species for one reason, experimentation.

“Singing songs of sleep, the wind blows you far away...” Seeing the mahogany haired doctor and what he was guessing a couple of blonde students, he'd been relatively calm. When the scent of death and blood filled his nose the closer the doctor got to him, the more unnerved he was and he almost switched into his fox form and bolted out the door with Ezra. Instead, he inhaled through his mouth and kept his composure as he spoke. "That would be incorrect, sir, on three counts; the number of tails, this being him and his location. My older brother, Fox, is a seven-tailed spirit wolf. Seven, not nine. He's been bedridden and the school deems it necessary a doctor be involved and give those stupid little note things for his absence from school to be excused. My brother refuses going to doctors, but seeing as it's necessary and I don't know of any other doctors in this general location, you're my only option as to making him better. As far as I know, you're the only doctor who knows how to deal with spirit animals... Seeing as you just said you could depending on what's wrong with him. He's still in our dormitory right now," Jacoby responded with a low hiss-growl starting from deep in his diaphragm. Shifting his position so Ezra was slightly further away from the doctor, his eyes flipped over into the deep golden-brown of his fox eyes. Oh the spirits that lingered around this man... Perhaps he should just forget about it as this doctor was giving him the heebie-jeebies. His whole Agent Orange was acting up by just being in the same room as this man. “Where did it take you?” {( Out.Of.Codes: ~ )}

" A twelve-tailed wolf? How peculiar." the doctor murmured with a curt nod, not seeming to notice that he was getting it wrong. He still stared at the cringing boy for a moment longer. That boy was mute, wasn't he? He didn't even make any whimpers, just hastened breaths. Peculiar, indeed. Eventually Dr. Rieux leaned away from the two young boys and walked over to his desk, leaning his back against it while crossing his arms. " It's not unusual at all. I've met a three-tailed wolf before, believe it or not. As for your brother's ailment, I'll need details. How long as he been sick? Does he have a fever? Soar throat? Just list every single detail." he said before turning his head to look at Michael. " Get me an apple." he ordered. Ezra let out an inaudible sigh of relief when the doctor leaned away. He then noticed how tense Jacoby got as well and gave him a concerned look.

M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Michael turned to Rieux before giving a small frown and furrowing his brow with a sigh. Where was he going to get a freaking apple? did he expect him to go all the way to the cafeteria or something? Crossing his arms over his chest he raised an eyebrow.
"And where do you suggest that I retrieve this apple of yours doctor?"Location: Nurse's Office

“Singing songs of sleep, the wind blows you far away...” Feeling his eye twitch slightly, Jacoby's tails flicked behind him in agitation while his ears twitched slightly in their slicked back position. "Seven tails. From what I've observed, he started coughing about six days ago and he's been snoring since three weeks ago which gives me the impression his sinuses are stuffed. He went to bed early last night, about six in the evening, which would've been my guesstimation of when the fever started if it weren't for the fact that he's been spacey and nearly burnt down the kitchen at least six times in the last four days. He couldn't really eat over the last five days either 'cause he'd upchuck so he's been sipping water and eating a cracker here and there since then while I've been eating sandwiches from Subway... His throat is pretty swollen too, constantly having to clear his throat just to speak in a really raspy voice. I made him start using the cellphone I made him to where he could just text me and it automatically sends it to my laptop or the computer in our dormitory 'cause I couldn't really understand him. Fox doesn't like making me worry though so he doesn't exactly make it clear he's not feeling well," Jacoby responded while looking as if he was double checking to see if that was all correct. Not finding any flaws, he nodded slightly as if stating that was all he'd noticed. Then again, Fox had to... Nevermind. If this doctor could help his brother, he hoped to heck he would without adding him to the deceased list much less chopping him into millions of pieces. Good thoughts, happy thoughts, were all he was asking for... And Mr. Attitudinal was not helping this conversation. "The cafeteria isn't that far from here. M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Michael turned t the other with a blank look before looking back at the doctor. He had no wish to really acknowledge the other boy. He was normally shy and very kind but he hadn't had water in some time and ever since the doctor used the serum on him, his strength dwindled and he was becoming irritable. Such was the life of a water elemental like himself. Sighing softly, Michael walked over to the sink and turned it on before drenching his face in the cool liquid that was rapidly calming him once again. He still couldn't believe that he actually forgot to bring his canteen with him. Such an action would lead to his death. After drinking several hand made cups of the water, Michael shut off the water and wiped the water off of his eyelashes by brushing his sleeve over his eyes.
"Apple...alright. I shall return with the item requested doctor. Sorry for the delay." With that, Michael walked towards the door and gave the two a kinder smile before leaving to complete the task given to him.

Dr. Rieux closed his eyes and listened to the boy talk about the symptoms. He opened his eyes when Michael left. " By the sound of it it's nothing serious. A lot of people get sick around this time due to climate changes. There's also been a bug spreading around the school lately - there always is - so he might have caught it as well. It's nothing supernatural." he said, without talking about some kind of medicine or cure. Instead, he just stood there, giving the two boys a condescending stare as he waited for his apple to arrive.

It had been a strange request but the man was strange in his own way as well so the elemental dismissed it. Standing aside, Michael took a bottle of water he had purchased with the apple and sipped it quietly.

“Singing songs of sleep, the wind blows you far away...” "And I said... Oh screw it! This entire school system sucks mega donkey balls! I'm late for class and I feel like I've been talking to a bunch of walls who only absorb so much information. I know it's not an overly special sickness, but these retarded school systems will fail him for having too many unexcused absences 'cause they need a flipping doctor involved to write out why the sick or injured aren't in school. Don't blame me for following procedure of absences, but the stupid school system. Here's the dorm number he's in if you're gonna check on him, but I have to get to class," Jacoby hiss-growled, his irritation finally getting to him. He was going to flip his lid if he had to repeat himself for a third time. If you didn't get it the first three times, you were never going to get it in his opinion. Scribbling down a dorm number on a little sticky notepad with a pen he slid out of his pocket, he set the sticky note on the counter and started back for the door. "I think I preferred the classes online... Best part of this whole school is the free wi-fi, being able to spend time outside of the den with Fox and you, Ezra." “Where did it take you?” {( Out.Of.Codes: ~ )}

The doctor continued giving the boy an unamused look as he began his rant. " ... You're an idiot, aren't you?" was his only response. Instead of listening to anything else the boy said or taking his piece of writing, Rieux turned and took the apple from Michael's hand, giving him a slight nod of gratitude. He turned halfway and plucked a syringe from his desk, this one containing a dark blue liquid. Putting the apple in front of his face, he narrowed his eyes, thinking and calculating, then injected the blue liquid into the apple. Setting the syringe down, he scribbled something on a piece of paper and wrapped it around the fruit. He waited for the boy to turn around before throwing the apple at the back of his head. Ezra turned his head to give the doctor a wary look and saw the apple flying towards them. He quickly unwrapped one arm from Jacoby to catch it, and when he did he brought it closer to his face and blinked at the paper around it. The doctor gave him an amused look. " Feed the apple to the boy, it should help. Then again, I haven't used it on a five-tailed wolf, but it's worked on several different species. Your precious excuse is there, so quit throwing a tantrum."

M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Michael had quietly watched the other throw his tantrum as he sipped on his water before his gaze turned to the doctor as he awaited his response. He had saw how Rieux had handled the attitude of James and remembered seeing the man hit him without hesitation. One thing that Michael had learned was that it was certainly unwise to mouth off to the doctor and he hoped that he didn't do it again as he had earlier. He was lucky enough not get a response from the man at all even if his lack of water excused his irritability.
When the doctor inject the serum in to the apple, placed a paper around it and tossed it at the other, Michael gave a small smirk as he placed the mouth of the bottle against his lips to drink. The doctor may have had his times where he seemed rude, creepy or uncaring but it was amusing to Michael to see that he had moments where he actually looked pretty cool while doing his job effortlessly as if he had done it so many times before, which he probably had.

“Singing songs of sleep, the wind blows you far away...” Feeling his ears twitch, Jacoby briefly glanced back at the doctor with an unamused gaze as he'd heard the apple and paper hurtling towards him and Ezra. "Work on your social skills and paying attention then. Thank you though and if anything bad should occur, I'll be sure to drag my brother back here to you. Good luck with whatever it is you're doing with that monstrous bonesaw looking scalpel," Jacoby hissed irritably before flashing Ezra a quick thumbs up at having caught the apple. He then gave the water elemental and the doctor a slight wave goodbye before finishing bolting out the door and down the hall with Ezra still on his back. “Where did it take you?” {( Out.Of.Codes: exit~ )}

Once the two had left, Dr. Rieux sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. " I never was fond of children." he murmured to himself. After a moment he brought his hand down and made his way to the beds, glaring down at Jace. " Still asleep, is he?" he murmured and tapped the boy's cheek experimentally. When there was no reaction, he sighed and looked over at Michael. " What about you? Don't you have classes to go to?" he grunted.

M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Michael quietly sipped on his water as the two left the room, giving them a small wave before he dropped his hand in the silence. He heard the sound of the doctor moving and didn't look until he heard his voice fill the room. Screwing the cap onto the bottle of water, Michael gave the man a small shrug as he sighed softly.
"Honestly. I don't think there are really any classes here. I had gone to the art class twice the entire time I have been here and since Nikolai is the fill-in teacher for it...I do not think the class is actually in session. Art is really the only class I have an interest in since I am an artist and it wouldn't matter since none of the teachers even teach the classes they are supposed to be teaching anyways." Crossing his arms, Michael turned his gaze back to the man. "I don't see why this place is called an academy if no one is attending classes or teaching them."Location: Nurse's Office
