"Affirmative, Dr," Aurora would reply to Miya's request to move the patient. She did want them both under observation, but she also agreed with Aleron's insistance that they needed that resaearch done ASAP. "That research is too important to wait. Lieutenant, I'll come with you to retrieve those specimens. Get yourself a new helmet and meet me at the exit."

"Don't touch. Got it," she replied quietly to Aleron, pushing Sonja's stretcher towards his lab. Hearing Aurora's go-ahead made a small smile come to her face, glad that she wasn't going to get in trouble for making a decision without prior approval. Once she got to the door to Aleron's lab she waited patiently, keeping her eyes, ears, and sixth sense on the survivor.

Aleron sighed, adjusting his visor as it came on. "I don't have a new one...this is very sophistacated tech I made myself...I can't exactly mass-produce it. I'll fix it later when there's down-time. There are more important things right now then minor technical errors in my visor. And, thank you for the aid, Captain." he finished, waiting for her.

"Well, let's try to not get your face sucked again, then, shall we? And your welcome." Aurora had to chuckle a bit, though only mentally. Not so cocky now, was he? Though the mental chuckle gives way to a quiet nervousness. Aleron's lack of his usual bravado was only a tetament to the fear that hung over this whole mission. What had they been sent into. She heads for the door out and waits for her 2nd in command before even opening it.

Aleron got to the door, Mace behind him. "Captain.." he said quietly, seeming to be more like himself, mostly. He was still nervous about the bite, but was distracting himself with research to prevent paranoia and frantic-ness. "If you remember the way, will you be taking point?"

Mio's voice comes over the intercom then, "Cap'n, Lieutenant, got some preliminary data on the station's design in the area around the hangar. Sending it to your suits now." They'd have a basic wire-frame schematic of the immediate area out to 90 meters from the ship, a drop compared to the station's full size. "Also, sensors aren't quite sure what to make of that goop you mentioned before. Getting DNA signatures from multiple races from them, and somethng unknown. Whatever it is, the concentrations seem to get higher the farther into the station the sensor penetrate, and..."
Mio has to pause and doulbe-check before adding, "Seems like there's some areas that are literally covered in the stuff, and it's also in the ventilation shafts of the station, particularly around filters."

Aurora nods. "I will, she answers. She had grabbed a stretcher on the way so they were ready to go. "Mind pushing that thing?" She asks, pulling her machine gun in front of her. She was still carrying the shotgun, too. The more weapons, the better as long as it didn't impede her too much. Once they were situated, she leads the way back into the wilderness that was the space station.

"Thank you Mio," she says, unable to hide the shudder at the thought of rooms full of goop. "I guess we got some cleaning to do. Soon as we figure out how..."

He nodded and followed. "Take weapons, I'll back you up if needed. Otherwise Mace and I have the stretchers." he said. He thought about Mio's report. "So it very well may be air-born if it's in the vents and such. But...to know anything truly useful I need to study it."

"Those filters would trap bits of dead skin cells that might provide whatever it is nourishment," Mio hypothesizes, "Though, that would suggest something bacterial rather than viral. Regardless, I think I'm going to adjust the Walkurst's filtration. A little ultrasonic cleansing should help keep the stuff out of the ship's ventilation. Cap'n, I've got a simulation running on the bridge, that should hopefully give us some answers from the readings as to how best deal with the goop in the hallways. Anyway, off to go make those changes o the filtration." Humming to himself, he pick up the tolls he'd set down on the floor and tucks them into his engineer's kit and heads off to try and adapt the ship to whatever situation it was they found themselves in now.

While waiting for Misha to lead the way back to her ship, Gin caught bits and peices of the conversation on the open com. And it was getting her more and more angry. The one who'd been bitten, the one who wanted to do all that research.
"Tch" she growled out, her fur heckled up. She sneezed. Ugh.. she needed to take another shot. She was darn near out of those. Using the calm for the moment Gin opened a small pack and inserted the fresh vial. A quick shot later and she disgarded the vial on the ground, not something she would normally do, but under the cirmcunstances she didn't care about keeping it clean. Or putting things were they belonged trash wise. She put the small injector back in it's case and tucked it back into the pack she had.
"Just to warn you. If he comes around me and babbles to me about all that research and how he can contain it in his lab I'm gunna deck him or shoot him. Depending on if my fist is empty or shut at the time" she muttered angerly. Little p***k sounded like all the other scientest. How eager they had been to find something new and how much research they got to do and yadda yadda. Till all hell broke out of cource

"Roger that, Mio." Aurora starts leading the way deeper into the facility, walking as swiftly as she could and still be marginally quiet. She wanted to get those bodies and get back to the ship. The sooner that was done, the sooner they could start digging for answers. And the sooner they would be in the relative safety of the ship. God...was that even safe? She starts to consider all the ways they might have an incursion and quickly forces herself to stop thinking about that unpleasant thought. She finds herself wondering how habitable that planet was. Perhaps they should think about setting up camp there rather than in the space station. At least for now.

Aleron frowned. "You'd best watch your tongue before I perform a life experiment on you, missy..." he muttered in annoyance. He simply couldn't stand people who thought they were better them him. Rank was one thing, but in general really pissed him off. And he didn't take too kindly to being threatened, either. Raising his tone to normal, he spoke. "Threaten me again and I'll put you under arrest for threatening an officer and superior, are we clear, yes sir or no sir." he demanded, his tone more authoritative then it has been. He learned that method of talk from an old commanding officer who had been helping him with being so quiet and timid.
