Ashriel laughed softly at Raevyn before finishing up her chicken. Although she had twice as much, she still finished at about the same time as Lix and Jen.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glared at Ashriel. "I don't need you laughing at me, thank you very much." He muttered, his voice at odds with his actions. While he sounded grumpy, he looked happy. He loved being pet. And he'd decided Lixini wasn't a bad girl after all. Course, that opinion went right out the window as she picked him up again. "Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades!" He cursed at the movement. "She's got it out for me or something!" He squirmed until he could get out, then raced to the top of the fridge again. The spot was quickly becoming his refuge. "Aww kitty! I just wanted to cuddle!" "Oh hell no! I do not do 'cuddles'!" Raevyn spat back, though he didn't actually let her hear him. He hissed at her, making Lix pout and cross her arms.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Lix, we'd better get going. I did promise your mom I'd get you back home by eight." Jennalin reminded Lix, giving Raevyn a look that said 'you better be pretty damn thankful for this one'.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Please!" Raevyn pleaded. "Take her far, far away!" Lixini sighed and glanced at Jennalin. "Is it really that late?" She asked, trying not to whine. Suddenly, as if a switch had been flipped, she grinned. She bounced over to Ashriel, hugging her tightly. "Bye bye!! I'll miss you! You make sure you tell us if you need anything, alright?" She said sternly as she could, then bounced towards the fridge, reaching up towards Raevyn but she was too short. "Bye bye kitty!" Raevyn merely reached down at batted her hand lightly, claws carefully sheathed. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded carefully as Jennalin took Lixini's hand and left for Lixini's house. She sighed lightly now, looking at Raevyn. "Well, that's over with. I knew that they were going to freak...kind of confused by how calm Jen was when she left...ah, well. She's probably plotting something again." Ash muttered to herself, moving about to clean the dishes.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn slid to the floor silently, shifting to his human form. "Thank god that's over." He muttered, not caring if he scared Ashriel with his sudden appearance. "Want some help with those?" He asked and grabbed a towel to dry the dishes. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel was slightly startled as he changed, but that was about it. "Yes, help would be great." She said, grabbing the pan that the chicken had been prepared in.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed and leaned against the counter, towel in hand as he waited for her to wash the first dishes. "I don't know how you deal with her. I don't know how her family lives with her." He said, shaking his head in disbelief. "I was only dealing with her for a few hours and I'm already exhausted. What must it be like to live with her? Her parents must be exhausted." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"She relaxes as she gets used to things, really, she does." Ashriel said, setting the first of the clean dishes to the side. She sighed lightly. "We've just always been friends, and we grew up used to it."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I still think you're all crazy then." Raevyn said simply. He picked up the dishes and began drying them one at a time. He set the dry dishes to the side, stacked up neatly. "Because, I swear, if she tries to ravish or cuddle me one more time, I'm going to claw her. She seemed fine, until she had sugar. And picked me up. I hate that." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"She likes animals." Ashriel laughed gently as she finished off the dishes, sighing. Her eyes glanced around the kitchen, smiling at what had happened that day.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Well, next time then, inform her she can pet the kitty but she can't pick it up." Raevyn said with a shrug, drying the last of the dishes. He set to work putting them away. "As long as she stops picking me up and 'cuddling' me," He shuddered at the thought. "Then we'll get along just fine." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Okay, I'll tell her." Ashriel glanced at Raevyn putting away the dishes, moving to put some of them away. "Looks like you are pretty close to being healed."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn jerked at her words, smacking his head against the cupboard door. He winced and closed the door with a sigh. He turned to Ashriel, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "Um, yeah, about that......" He fidgeted, trying to find the right words to phrase what he wanted to say. "Are you alright?" Ashriel couldn't help but giggle slightly as he banged his head. Still, she moved to get some ice in a plastic bag for him. "Yeah?" She asked, hearing him move to say something.
