In Naruto's house it was quiet most of the morning as Yuki slept being drugged by painkillers that she didnt have to find something to do till she got up, as she stirred she looks around thinking it was almost two,"Thats right! big brother will be home soon and we can play." Yuki thinks as she looks at the clock and it read two fifthteen and thought he was just running late, a half hour goes by and she took out her crayons and colored waiting but as soon as the clock read four she had a hunch he was going to be longer probably taking more time then he said,"Big brother said two and its almost four.....hes late." Yuki gets to the last pages of paper in her pad nearly coloring to the nub of her crayons and looks outside it was getting later, once it hit four fifteen Yuki was getting upset being in the house by herself to keep herself company but really she was lonely till her ears perked to the sound of the door and Naruto was there.


"Big brother!...what happened I was so lonely and scared and you were so late and-" he had a tired look but had a smile as she came up to hug him,"I'm sorry Yuki I didnt mean to be so long sensei was lecturing us for awhile till I finally told him you were living with me....he says next time you can come with me so I dont have to leave you like that." she nudges his collar as he felt her head,"Is that bump hurting you? seems to have gone down a bit." "It didnt hurt all day I was sleeping most of the time and I did eat breakfest." he looks to the tray and sees she ate everything and forgotten she didnt ate the rest of the day. "Yeah you probably didnt eat lunch didnt you...tell you what lets get you some dinner and I can take you to the surprise I promised."


Yuki squeeks and goes into the kitchen with him as they cook up the easy and usual food they ate...mild soybean ramen which Yuki grew to like,after dinner he took her out to the park but she was confused,"Why we at the park?" "Because I wanted to show you something." he says pulling out something a wrapped piece in his hand giving it to her,"I think you deserve this in my opinion." Yuki unwraps the cloth to see a brand new headband with her cresent moon symbol with a tiny scripture on the inside,"Child or the darkness but pure in spirit....no matter what is branded to you name you will still fly high." Yuki hugs him tight and he helps her take off her old one putting it in his pocket and tieing the new one spinning her,"Looks good on you....little sister."

They spent the rest of the time playing in the park, watching the koi, and eating several sweets till it got to be about six and headed back,Naruto places her in the living room and watched her play with her headband as it slightly tilted on her forehead and all he could do was laugh,"Yeah its gonna be awhile till you grow into it but you look cute that way" he says as he tilts it back upright and gets an idea,"Say how about we go to the bath house tomight...I know you like to go there and we can teach you how to swim a little bit." Yuki looks up to him and automaticly says yes and he pack for both of them.

To Yuki it was a surprise to see them in the city but being as stubborn as she was she kept her distance, Naruto saw her and tried to get her to come over and say hello but she stayed where she was,"C'mon Yuki dont be this way you cant be mad at them forever...a little hello wont hurt you." "Says you." Yuki thought in her head and as he tried to pull her close she pull a fake distraction and points behind direction,"Hey big brother is that Saskue bragging how cool you are? I think it is over there!" He turns and looks and she slips away into the bathhouse and when he turned he had a dumb look on his face getting the slip from a nine year old.

"Why that little-...fine she can act that way as long as she wants I'll get her later." He says and turns back to the two,"Sorry about that she must be a bit steamed still, probably not wise to take her to a 'hot' spring eh?" Senente and Raiku looked at each other realizing how bad of a joke that was. "Not really one of your best puns there Naruto...never makes sense and you get tricked....real nice." Raiku laughs seeing the look on Naruto's face,"Well you two can have some fun in the bathhouse while we go on see you around." They go their ways while Naruto goes into the bathhouse to find the little trickster and gets to the sping thinking she was already in there.

As he got into the water he winces at how hot it was but felt better till he starts to shout as ice cold water drops on him from behind,"Gah! what the heck was that for?....who did that!" he hears a snicker and looks up dripping seeing Yuki on top of the rock with a wood bucket laughing at him and he didnt look like he enjoyed it,"Oh funny eh? well two can play that and I believe you'll want to get in after this." yuki tilts her head but sees him reach for her and yanks her towel and she squeels as he swings it above his head and she leaps off jumping in the shallow water and hear him laughing his head off,"Ha! not so clever now arnt ya?...even you just a kid you still blush being exposed." she bubbles her words in the water angry then hell and yanks her towel back hissing at him but he snickers,"Yeah yeah little fox hiss away."

Both played in the spring and as Naruto watched her splash in the shallow part he got an idea, Raiku and Senente were in the city for the festival that maybe Yuki would enjoy it as well. He tells her about it and agrees to go getting out fast like most kids and tried to look for her kimono but Naruto comes from behind and gets her with ice water watching her sliter up to the locker hissing from the cold,"Haha payback." "Hey no fair you took my towel." she barks but he pets her head and wraps her in her kimono and his own and took her to where the festival was being held, once there Yuki couldnt believe what was there and smiled happily seeing the different things, Naruto looks and sees several mask at a stand and noticed a few kitsune masks on with purple marks thinking Yuki might like them and got himself one.

Yuki hears him call her name and as she turned she gets spooked seeing him in a orange kitsune mask and he lifts it off telling her its him and she sighed,"Here, I got you a mask as well theres a lot of people with them and I guessed you would as well." Naruto put it on her and smiled looking at her and decided to go into the crowd and let her go alone for a bit as long as she stayed close, Yuki went around exploring things happily till she sees something that catches her eyes, a small shimmering butterfly fluttering near the trees,"Thats an odd looking butterfly...wonder whats it doing at night." Curiousity was getting the best of her and she follows it away from the festival lights and into the woods.

She followed the butterfly till a voice scared her,"My my...whats a young little fox doing alone in the dark" Yuki looks up and sees a man wearing a hawk mask like the ones at the festivals,"Mister?...I'm not a fox i'm a girl see." she takes off the mask showing her face and hears a chuckle from the man,"I see and what a pretty face you have yet why you wear your headband in a kimono?...do you have something to hide under it?" "No!...I just like to wear it thats all....what are you doing here mister? its dark out here." Yuki asked. "Well I wanted to see you my dear....you are a special little girl and also I wanted to be your friend I dont have many and I saw you didnt either so what do you say...wanna be friends?" Yuki was spooked as he showed her his hand for a shake and knowing Yuki she tried to make friends wherever she could and thought she could trust this guy, smiling she takes his hand,"Sure you can be my friend my name is Yuki whats yours mister?"

The man stayed silent and looks to her as he hears a faint voice call her name,"I shall say my name the next time we meet but i do believe someone is looking for you....we should take you back but dont worry we'll meet again...I never miss my cousin's birthday." "Oh thats right I forgot big brother told me to stay near and I saw the butterfly i'm in so much trouble!" "Dont worry sweetheart i'll take you back take my hand." he raises his hand to her and she takes it guiding her back to the path she took from the festival she stares a few times noticing the man was wearing purple nailpolih which was odd to her but dint take it into thought. Once Yuki made it back she turns to thank her new friend but when she looks he's gone and Naruto catches up to her,"Yuki! I told you to stay close i thought someone took you...dont scare me like that....thats ok you were having fun but its getting late and we should get home."

He hoists her onto his shoulders and headed back but in her mind she wondered about the man she met with the hawk mask wondering a few things but shook it off knowing she'll see him again, Naruto hears Yuki quiet and looks up,"Something on your mind?" "No,no...I'm just tired." she lies being in deep thought.

Once he stopped he looked at Senente with a neutral look asking her to sit down,"Sen, I want to talk to you about something.....can we talk?" "Um...sure whats the problem." He stays quiet for a moment and sighs not knowing what she would think. "Sen, I've been thinking about this for awhile and was hiding it from you since the girls came here....its been almost seven months almost a year and were suppose to have Yuki call us her parents for the time but what about Everest?, she calls us by our names and yet i think it should be different." Senente was puzzled,"What are you asking?....Raiku please tell whats going on."


He looks at her and smiles,"I just though since they seemed to get along well that perhaps....we should legally adopt them then just be foster parents, that way they both can call us mommy and daddy plus they both can be adoptive sisters even though they are technically mother and daugther but this way look how much they changed." Senente thinks,"Come to think of it I have noticed it, back in the shadow realm when I first saw Everest she was always behind her mother and when she played she played alone with no other child to play with.....you know I think.....I think that will be a wonderful thing to do they both can leave their past in an awful place and start fresh here in Skyline and live happy as bright little girls, we should do it." Raiku hugs her as she started to tear in joy and he himself did it as well.

"Well alright tomarrow morning we can go into the city and get the documents since technically both of them have no parents they wont have papers and with the wars going on in Lokchaos they could of been destroyed." They both were excited that both agreed to the new challenge and went to their rooms, morning came and the two left early as Everest slept and went into town to get documentation that leagally they are the parents of Yuki and Everest while they became adoptive sisters. Once they came back home Everest was waiting for them to come back but looked puzzled as they smiled at her and Raiku came up to her,"Everest darling you want to know why we were gone so long?" she nods,"Well you see Sensen and I talked and we decided this..we knew your mother died back home and your father was ruling another realm so you dont have parents around much."


In Everest mind she had the idea her mother died the night she attacked Senente and tried to save her so the belif stayed with her,"Yes....I miss her all the time and I never see daddy anymore....I always looked at you almost like my daddy and mommy many times." Senente started to cry and came over hugging her close and Raiku smiled happy,"Everest dear....we made that happen honey your offically one of ours and Yuki is your sister." Everest looks up and cries hugging both,"I cant believe it!....I have a mommy and daddy again and also a sister." she couldnt be too happier feeling alone she had parents again.

Morning to Naruto and Yuki ment sleeping in till one or two which they did, Naruto was spread out on his futon with Yuki sneaking onto his at night sleeping upside down spread out just like he was, it was calm till he rolled and she flipped off with a thud waking him as well,"Meh morning Yuki....breakfest right?....or whatever." Slowly he walks into the kitchen carrying tired yuki on his back as he looks into the cupboards getting what he thought were the usual morning soy ramens and takes one different but starts them anyway.

Once the time was up he get Yuki set up and himself but as he ate he hears her shout out in pain,"Big brother! its too hot and it hurts!" he looks and sees the cup color and realized he took the wrong kind for her and accidently gave her a spicy one since the mild had the same label as the ones she normally ate but seeing her jump around from the spice and started to laugh looking at her face,"Thats a nice look on ya...i didnt mean it but that made my day already.' Once having his share of laughs he grabbed some milk for her and gave her sips of it to cool her mouth but he snickered softly, both of them got dressed having Yuki stand on the dresser so Naruto could brush her hair and put her band on that still always tilted from time to time.

The past three weeks were a bit quiet, Naruto was looking through some things watching Yuki play on the floor with her marbles hitting one against the other in a pattern, he noticed something was troubling the girl normally she would be causing trouble but just thought she was bored with not many things to do. "Hey Yuki are you alright?...you've been quiet since the festval is something troubling you?" Yuki looks at him at a glance and continued to play flicking a marble as she watched it roll, Naruto watched her for amoment but couldnt figure out what was wrong till he eyed her drawing pad and saw it was full,"Say...I know what you might like wait there..." he goes into his room forgetting he bought it a couple days ago and went to give it to her,"I bought you a new drawing pad and a set of crayons that way you can have more colors and not just the tops."

She looks at him and the pad but stayed where she was acting as if she didnt hear him which ticked him off that something wasnt right and felt her forehead that was a little warm,Hmm your a bit warm I'll gets some dinner going and you'll go to bed early." he says but she doesnt flinch, just as he goes to the doorway her pad is knocked on the ground and he picked it up seeing the curiousity took a look. Inside there were many pictures of Raiku and Senente doing everything from the fantasy dream to the festival...she drew just about everything and it hit Naruto......she missed her mommy and daddy and was homesick.

'Yuki?....I think I know whats wrong." she looks up and sees his arms grab her and picked her up close to him rocking and he sighs,"You miss home....miss being in your own room and Everest....your missing your mommy and daddy the most arnt you." Yuki looks shocked under his collar as Naruto felt her shake knowing she was crying and pat her back,"Alright, alright....I know it hurts....thats why you've been like this for the past few weeks dont worry.....you'll see them again." "When can I see mommy and daddy? I'm not mad at them anymore and I dont hate mommy for hitting me I'm sorry and I-" Naruto puts a finger to her mouth but she tears up more rocking her for comfort and she muffles,"When can I go home?....big brother?"
He sighs,"As soon as they call...once they do you can come back."

Yuki quiets down and he take her to wash her face and eat some dinner, afterwards he slips her nightshirt on and puts her in for the night with her falling asleep instantly as he rubbed her hair,"See?....like I said little sis you cant be angry for too long....you know well your loved dearly."

Senente looks down and sees the girl get up as her red eyes shined in the dark and one name came to mind,"Yuki is that you?" Senente whispers as she watched the child's movement and takes a closer look as the moonlight reflection on her head shining the siver in the shape of a cresent moon....she knew it was Yuki then." Senente steps back afraid that she came back to attack her while she slept and was fueling still with anger,"Yuki please...dont hurt me again mommy said sorry and your still mad just dont hurt me." she says with her hands in front of her backing till she hit a root of a tree and trips falling backwards, Yuki looks to her and walks a little faster getting almost a few feet from her but Senente was full of fear that another attack was going to happen or worse. "Sen! whats going on out here!" Raiku barges out and sees Senente look at him,"Stay away! Yuki's back and I dont know if she will attack again but she was close to my window!" Yuki looks up and finally gets a foot to Senente as she shields herself awaiting another slashing, tears were streaming from Yuki's face as she runs into her grabbing Senente in a hug that shocked her,"Mommy" mommy I'm sorry I was mad at you I didnt mean to yell at you and say I hate you I love you....and I love daddy too i'm sorry i was being so mean and threw things you were trying to help me and I just snapped, please mommy i wanna come home I miss you." Yuki cries loud not seeing her mother for a long time and the separation for almost three weeks made her wanna be home that all she did now was hold on to Senente crying out as tears ran down her shimmering red eyes.

Yuki finally felt that the emptiness inside her seem to fill up seeing her parents again and the fact she was officially theirs to keep she had a mommy daddy and best of all a little sister, she starts to dream which started to begin peacefully as she was dressed as a lunar fairy but as she flew the sky turned dark and a sinister laugh lingered as several shimmering black butterflies try to attack her chewing away her wings as she starts to fall screaming to death. In reality Yuki was moving around in panic afraid she was falling to her death but a hand rubs her back gently and starts to calm, Raiku heared her cries and gently brought her back into reality knowing she was alright. "Its alright Yuki....daddy's right here.....youre safe and sound back home." he whispers in his sleep and she carefully calmed down and drifted back to sleep feeling him rub his finger on her moon as it shimmered in the dark room. The morning shined into the quiet house as the new bounded family slept slowly coming around, Raiku wakes stretching nudging into Yuki still asleep and looked at her smiling,"Even with the past events that happen brought fear to us....your still our little girl." he says kissing her cheek then she wakes slowing looking up at him with wide red eyes,"Morning daddy."

The two girls started to finish the blocks on the bottem and as Yuki went to pick up another Everest went after a block but bumped into the tower having a rain of blocks fall on Yuki in a huge pile, she looks up and sees Everest laughing as another block lands on Yuki's head and shok it off with a irritated looks but just as Everest was pointing and laughing a block hit her on the head and yuki smirked. "Ha! not so funny huh? I got a pile on me and you got clunked." Everest looks up and sits down crying rubbing her head,"Ahh! mommy daddy a block fell on my head and it hurts."

she screams but stops as Yuki comes to her showing her Naruto doll and Everest looked at it then laughs taking it when Raiku came in hearing the comotion,"Girls whats going on? I heared a loud crash." he asks looking at them play with the Naruto doll and Everest's dolls as well knowing things were alright. It grew into late afternoon while Senente went upstairs to do things up there while the girls played outside with a new ball bouncing it close to the house, Raiku opens the door calling them in for a snack and watched them rush over inside and climb up to apples and riceballs.

"Alright, you two eat your snacks and then go back outside...I'm gonna go outside and do some chores then." he says as he leaves and the girls munch on their snacks, Yuki looks up to Everest and snickers, "Its funny how I never see you eat your entire riceball." Everest looks and pauses eating,"What do you mean? I can so finish up both mine and your riceball." "Oh really?" Yuki looks at the counter seeing the riceballs Senente made up and gets an idea,"You know what lets find out..mommy made a bunch of them." "Your on!" At that point both girls climbed on the counter and started muching on them to see which one could eat the most mainly stuffing two at a time trying to eat the most then the other girl.

He goes behind her and wraps his arms on her,"So...that time again? I can see in your moans." she looks up to him knowing he knew she was in misery of mother nature's monthly gift,"You can read me like a book Raiku....pretty clever that you are." He sighs rubbing her back to give her some comfort but she was hurting alot and even with little comfort it was doing little,"Sen why dont you lie down for the day...your too cramped up to be working I mean your turning pale...I made the decision your resting." Senente protests a little but unable to put up much of a fight he picked her up and took her upstaits and placed her in her room putting her to bed,"Now then you take a little nap till the cramps go away while I watch the girls."


Raiku kisses her forehead and closes the door, going down the hallway Yuki comes out finishes her vial and sees him dripping a bit of the herbal ooze on her mouth, he bends down wiping her mouth,"Well at least your taking it like a good girl....odd though you usually take it before bed what happened?" "Mommy had me take some when I smelled it on her yet I didnt see a cut on her." Raiku forgotten the girls's noses were more sensetive so it wouldnt be impossible that Yuki with that gene could smell it, Everest comes out hearing the two,"Daddy why does mommy look pale is she sick?" he sighs looking down rubbing his head trying to figure out what to tell two young girls that will deal with the same thing later.

Picking both of them up he sets them down and tried to explain it as mild as he could,"Girls you see....umm when a girls gets to be at a certain age thay start to change.....and with those changes you feel weak and hurting once every month but it all means good." "What does it mean good?....will mommy be alright?" Raiku sighs again but smiles"I'll tell you more once you two are older but dont worry mommy will be alright after a couple days.....but for now, lets gets things going on so you two play here while I make another batch of those riceballs you two ate. Both the girls look at each other and realized they wanted to help,"Daddy daddy we want to help please please please can we?" "Well I suppose so." All three go into the kictchen having Raiku cook and cool the rice while the girls shaped them, once they were done he looked at the time and knew the girls needed a nap not to be cranky so he had them rest on the livingroom rug pulling plankets on them as they fell asleep.
