Jakiel nodded. "I can do that." He then laid down next to Alex. "This good?"
Zeke nodded. "Correct." He then paused. "It's...a personal...emergency."

"That's ok. you don't have to say." Terry said getting up as the bell rang

Jakiel nodded adn then went quiet as he stared up at the cieling.
Zeke gave a small smile. "Thanks." Then he walked the otehr to class.

Alex looked up at the ceiling too, soon falling asleep again
Terry smiled and went off to class

Jakiel knew the other had fallen asleep by the slowing of his breathing. He wasn't tired, he just continued to look up at the ceiling. Then his eyes started to play tricks on him.
A single crack was in the ceiling, it was small, miniscule. Then a single drop of water managed to fall through. It floated in mid-air for a moment. Then it splashed on his face. Again and again, more drops followed, more rapidly than the last. Soon, it was a steady stream. The crack had gotten bigger.
Before he could react to this strangeness, the crack split the entire ceiling letting an entire ocean fall on top of him.
He sat up, panting heavily. He put a hand on his face, it was only wet with cold sweat. The hell was that?
Zeke attended class like normal. Though, he paid even more attention today, since he was going to forsake the weekend to visit Alex.

The day passed quickly for Alex and soon it was the weekend. He was home and his parents were at work. They were mad Alex skipped school, but didn't ground him

Jakiel really had explained to the school that Alex had to skip school. Though, the reason he gave was enough to pardon Alex, and not enough to raise alarm. As a result, he was suspended from school for a week. Which, to him, felt more like a reward than a punishment. And his mom didn't really care, for she knew well how he was.
Zeke waved goodbye to his mom and little sister as the train took off. His dad couldn't make it naturally, for the man worked around the clock. He at least came home on holidays, his birthday, and of course, his wedding anniversary.
As his family disappeared from sight, he settled into his seat. I'm just a few hours away now, Alex.

Alex took out his phone and looked at it. There were no new messages from Zeke. He really must have hated him. Alex sighed softly and plopped down on his bed

Zeke sighed as he got off the train. "Huh. So this is where Alex lives now. It's...peaceful and rather proper. Just like his parents would have liked. Oh well." He then looked down at his phone. He smiled. "Now's a good time." He called Alex.
Jakiel was in his lab feeding and watering his plants. Then he went over his notes on zombification. "Alright, if this is right, if I want to keep this body, I must have smoeoe perform 'embalming' on me..."

Zeke chuckled. "Sounds like you're feeling better, good." Then he paused. "Where's your new address at?"

"Two-fifteen South Av enue." Alex answered as his eyes watered. "I'll meet you outside. bye." Alex said and hung up. Alex went outside and sat on his porch, waiting for Zeke

Zeke nodded. "Alright. I'll meet you there." He put his phone away. Then he walked to the address. He smiled as he spotted Alex. "Yo!" He ran up to him.

Zeke shook his head as he sat next to Alex. "No, of course not! I just...I just came up here to make sure you were okay." He brushed some hair out of Alex's face. "After that last phone call, I got scared. I've never heard you cry before. So I told myself, I was coming up here ASAP. And I did." He kissed Alex's cheek. "But you're safe, so that makes me happy."
