"I... ya, I... Thanks for helping me", Silvia muttered. As her head cleared, she realized that she reconized the voice.

"Y-you were the one that was held captive with me!" Silvia gasped, "Were you experimented on also? Are you okay? Where are we? Are we held captive?"

Silvia let loose a stream of questions hoping that the girl standing on front of her had an answer. As she was waiting for a reply, she realized that something was out of place. She checked for a pulse on her wrist but found only silence. Silvia nearly fainted with shock as she realized what had happened to her.

"Oh... I see...", Silvia's voice trailed off. "I don't know how I could possibly repay you!" Silvia exclaimed, reassured by Alexis' words.

"Oh, but first things first", Silvia said, "Sorry, but I still don't know your name, mine's Silvia" As she said this, she held out her hand. Her other was clutching her chest firmly hoping that by somehow just placing her hand there, her heart would start beating again.

Silvia's eyes widened in surprise.

"Y-you'll let me stay with you?" She gasped, "Oh! Oh! Ohhh! I'd LOVE to!"

Silvia couldn't believe her eyes. The girl, Alexis, in front of Silvia was so nice to her, a complete stranger. Unable to contain her happiness any more, Silvia rushed forward to hug Alexis.

"Thank you sooo much! The normal room is enough!" Silvia gushed, her mother had only let her sleep on the couch and she was looking forward to her room. As she said this, she looked at Alexis beaming, waiting to be shown her room.

"Thanks!" Silvia slipped her hand out of Alexis' grasp and explored the room exicitedly. The room was bigger than the living room in Silvia's mom's house. It was also very neat and bright. Forgetting her manners. Slivia jumped on her bed and bounced around before hitting her head on the ceiling and came crashing back down onto her bed. This cleared her mind. Instantly, she blushed crimson realizing that she had made a fool out of herself in front of her host. Looking throughly downcast and hoping that she won't get kicked out. Silvia looked down at the crumpled bedsheets and tried her best to blink away the tears that welled up.

She only managed to mumble, "S-sorry..."

Amazed by the sheer size of the room, the soft comfort of the bed, and the bright colors. Silvia set off to explore the place. The first thing she did was throw open her closet. It was quite empty but she fingered the empty hangers anyway. "One day", she thought, "One day, I might even be able to fill this up!" Exicitedly, ran over to the night stand and threw open the empty drawers.

"Hmmm I wonder...", She murmered to herself.

She looked down at the small little ring she had kept in her pocket since she was five and set the ring in the drawer.

"Now it doesn't look so empty any more!" Silvia giggled.

Silvia looked around her room one more time before running down into the kitchen.

"Since I don't have any money, I might as well cook for you guys! Mom always made me cook so I think I'm a good cook if I do say so myself!" Silvia exclaimed.

"You won't mind if I cook for you and your companign right?" she asked Alexis, "Speaking of which, I haven't even met your companign yet..."

Silvia gasped... she reconized the shape of his body. Although she had only seen his shadow before, there was no mistaking it. This was the guy that was in the cold and lonely cell; THIS was the guy that had kidnapped; THIS was the guy that HELD THEM CAPTIVE! All the happiness from before drained away, replaced by a cold furry. Thoughts whirlled around in her head. Why was he here, had he come back to claim her?! No... This can't be. Alexis had said he was a companion. The very thought was hard for her to digest. She curled her hands up into tight balls. Her knuckles were turning white. Her nails were cutting into the palm of her hand. Blood slowly dripped down the shallow cuts. It was all she could do to keep herself from tearing appart the sleeping figure. Now that she was of the same race, she was no longer afraid of him. Slowly, Silvia turned around and walked to Alexis' room and knocked, leaving bloody smears on the door.

"W-why didn't you tell me?" Silvia said in a sad, cold, and trembling voice.
