Let's see, going straight forward in Taijutsu is bad, unless you know you would have a distinct advantage against them. However, what if one were to strike an opponent to create an opening for a second attack? Yuki nodded before dashing forwards again, into a close combat situation. "Watch yourself." He sneered as he came in close to Hisaki. Throwing a swift upper kick towards his opponent, Yuki announced the technique, "Shadow of the dancing leaf!" This techniques was also used by the same person that used Dynamic Entry. Yuki couldn't remember the name of the person, but his name appeared in the book about Taijutsu several times, and he had also seen this technique used around the village a few times. If the attack would hit, Yuki would follow the opponent as they were thrown into the air, to start pounding them with aerial assaults.

Yuki was right though, this fight was far from over. It would still take Hisaki seven more clean hits to win the match, and at the rate this was going, they might just get interrupted by the match proceedings before they actually finish the mock fight. Hisaki was more than ready for the next attack from his Yamanaka buddy. The Hyuuga could see Yuki's attack coming a mile away! Maybe it was the tip off of Yuki telling Hisaki to watch himself, or perhaps it was the announcement of the attack, but either way, Hisaki had more than enough time to counter it. Hisaki ducked beneath Yuki's foot, and crossed his arms above his head. He then pushed up, catching Yuki's ankle and grabbing it. With a twist and a throw, Hisaki sent the flying foot back form whence it came. As it was now, Yuki was in close range to Hisaki, and the Hyuuga was going to use this to his advantage.

Certain taijutsu techniques can leave you crippled if you try them too early on. Stay within your boundaries." Hisaki laughed, "For instance, I have my Gentle Fist Style, which I can do as often as I want, whenever I want. Like, for instance, now!" Hisaki flattened his palms, and changed styles. Now his muscles were pumped, and he raised his palm. With a generic taijutsu yell, he came down hard with his palm.

As fast as his confidence had risen, it plummeted. However, that did not mean he was giving up. The cornered rat bites the cat. His mind was obviously moving faster than his body ever could, he was overestimating his own abilities. What have I become, to think I am such a great Taijutsu expert? I must remind myself to thank Hisaki, despite his cocky attitude, he is training me.Hisaki had commented on his limits for Taijutsu, and to never step out of his comfort zone. A split second later he used his Gentle Style techniques as an example. Yuki thought quickly and made a handseal and then waved his hand across his body like a fan, as Hisaki's palm descended. He thought he could counter his technique by using Wind Ninjutsu to create a 'Wind Scar' and to create blades of wind that would cut into Hisaki. That would make him recoil and stop his attack. However, instead of the wind coming to his call, a layer of earth had tried to wrap itself around Yuki. This defensive call surprised Yuki, but the earth style defensively wall was easily broken through by Hisaki's Gently Style Attack, where it had hit his chest. Yuki coughed as he flipped away. "Four to one. Your lead." He coughed up.

"If I don't push past my limits, how does one grow then? Eh, Hisaki? If I were to stay within my comfort zone, I will never get stronger." He explained his reasoning. He paused before going further, "Did you just see what I saw?" Pointing at the mound of dirt that was Yuki's pathetic attempt at defending himself, he stretched a bit while trying to analyze what had happened. He shrugged as he leaped back into the forest-y canopy, mimicking what he had done earlier. Did I just use some type of earth style ninjutsu without thinking about it? That is...odd. My father and I both share an affinity to Wind, like most Yamanakas. However, I have no idea what affinity my mother has. I shall ask at some point. He stopped, thinking he was well hidden again. Yuki shoved a bit of chakra into his legs as he jumped out of the canopy, enough to throw himself exactly above Hisaki. Going into a downward spiral for a nasty-looking leg drop. This attack could be harmful to Yuki as well, but if he had to do it to get a hit on Hisaki, he'll make the sacrifice.

After the Yamanaka scampered away towards the trees, Hisaki was still, looking at the dirt on his hand. The dirt seemed.. so alien... to what he was expecting. Hisaki mumbled to himself, his voice piquing with curiosity, "What the hell dude? Since when could you do Earth Release techniques?" Hisaki heard Yuki was just as surprised as he was. Still though, Hisaki didn't take his eyes off of the mud on his hand. "Well, I didn't say to NEVER push yourself. I just said that if you do it to hard you'll-" Hisaki looked up from his hand and noticed that the blonde bishop was gone. Hisaki heard a rustling noise, then a whistle through the air. A shadow, too small and dense to be a cloud, drifted over him. Hisaki instinctively spun around and tried to block using a cross-arm block like before, but the gravity powered drop kick overwhelmed him, and sent him landing hard onto the ground. Hisaki pushed himself from the dirt (that, unsurprisingly, wasn't all that interesting anymore), and mumbled, "Four-Two..." Hisaki pushed himself up, then kicked back. He glanced off of the ground here and there until he was a sizeable distance from his foe. At that distance, Hisaki gave himself a second to brush himself off, and say, "Like I was saying. Pushing yourself is one thing, reckless overexertion is another."

He then said, loud enough so that Yuki could hear across the field, "So, I don't suppose you've figured out how you did that Earth Release thing, have you? I want you to try it again, but this time intentionally, ok?" Hisaki grabbed his right arm with his left, and held it in front of him. A small flicker of flame appeared in his hand. Hisaki held out his flaming hand to the side, then said, "It's like they say! Your true skills only come out when it looks like you're most likely to die." In reality, the flame in his hand wasn't that hot. More or less, it was a 'cool' flame, or a fire that's only going to cause a minor burn (quite unlike the black flames that had left their marks on Hisaki's arms. Hisaki clenched his muscles, and ran crazily at Yuki as a frontal attack. As he got closer, he brought the flaming hand in front of him, with the intent of ramming into Yuki with his fiery fist.

Hisaki had run off to create distance between the two. Four-Two! His confidence was like a roller coaster in this spar, as with his technique. He stood up from where he had dropped and brushed himself off as well. "I know I didn't do it intentionally. I also don't remember doing anything out of the ordinary for that defense. A snake handseal wasn't present either, which is the primary handseal for earth release!" He was just as surprised as Hisaki was, but was just as surprised when Hisaki came at him with a fire-type arm thrust. He made a few handseals of a known Earth Release and then slammed them towards the ground. However, if the jutsu had worked or not wasn't the issue, but Yuki's failed reflexes. Being thrown to the ground by the force, he frowned a bit, "Five to Two." He mumbled.

Jin's technique had done quite a number on him. Turning around, he faced the man he had bumped into. " Sorry about that." said the long-haired blonde apologetically. Manners were one thing that Soba enforced at all times, having Notwen pick up items that pregnant ladies had dropped in the market while shopping or giving up his seat to elderly folk. As a result he couldn't be rude to complete strangers, and often apologized on the behalf of other people, whether they were going to, or not. Notwen ran back to where Jin was since the blast pushed him several feet back. Once back to his original position, the Uchiha addressed the cloud-nin. " I have to give you props for that attack. I was impressed." Taking a rooted stance, Notwen faced the blue-haired boy. His eyes still ached from the use of Amaterasu, so he didn't chance activating the sharingan as of yet. " If you don't mind, let's spar for a bit. I need to figure out how a few things work myself. Rules are: Basic attacks only. That means regular kicks, punches, and ninjutsu/genjutsu of the most basic level. Got it?" From his stance Notwen shot towards Jin, throwing a flurry of punches and kicks as a distraction. His real aim was to use a basic level calormen. Back in the booth when he used it to blast the kid out of the room, Notwen realized something was off on the technique. It was less powerful than before. It probably has to do with being in this body, he thought, most of my skills have had an odd feel to them lately. Notwen thought back to the time when Soba first began teaching him to wield the ball of thermal energy. There were three steps to the technique's formation. The first was to draw the thermal energy from the area into a single point. As he concentrated on getting the heat to his palm, the Uchiha jumped away and kicked out with his leg. The result was a small fireball igniting from his foot and sailing towards Jin. Again, even that attack seemed weaker than normal. What the hell is going on!? the Uchiha wondered.

Eyeing up the two men, one who actually didn't seem too much like a "normal" man Sentai continued at the same pace, casually slipping his hands down into his own pockets as he continued. "Well from what it looks like they are probably just genin, maybe participants in the battles if they are still out here training with each other." Sentai thought to himself, coming to a stop as within the area. Sizing up the landscape it was obvious to Sentai that the two hadn't been at it for long, but that aside the area seemed to be coated in chakra, most likely from one of the two.
Remaining quiet Sentai focused intently upon the blue haired one as he appeared to be the one launching most of the attacks and also appeared to be using electricity as his main weapon, something Sentai had not come across in quite some time, the only exception being the Raikage whom he had just recently sparred with. While Sentai watched the blue haired one he almost didn't notice that the loose items within the area began to move on their own each being charged by the boys chakra, and with that the second boy seemed to be launched backwards with quite some force, nothing lethal but simply enough to push him back in Sentai's mind. In an instant the boy collided with Sentai's frame as Sentai did nothing to stop the impact but simply stood his ground and allowed the boy to pick himself up and continue his battle.
"I wonder if I should advise either of these genin, the two are clearly on level with each other, but they are also holding back as if they are afraid to harm the other one which is clearly something that you do when your partner is weaker than yourself." Sentai thought as he took his cigarette from his lips and sighed releasing a bit of herbal smelling smoke into the air.
"Guys don't mind me, I'm just a weathered onlooker, and a pretty bored one at that." Sentai said now moving out of the twos way and stood a good distance from the two so that he would not have to try too hard to evade any stray attacks. Finding a single pole jutting out of the ground bearing directional arrows atop Sentai leaned against it silently, not really letting anything be known by the tone of his voice.

Earth release can be used defensively, offensively, to open someone up for another attack, to stun an opponent, or to capture an opponent. These attributes make Earth Release jutsu to be very versatile. Yuki had just recited a textbook response for what exactly Earth release is. "I do not know if I can recreate an earth style type attack. I really have no idea how I could manipulate the earth so readily as if it was a Wind Release." He thought as he began to concentrate on focusing chakra throughout his body, "Let's try something..." Rat, horse, dog, snake! Yuki chanted in his head as he darted towards Hisaki, performing the handseals as he went. Stopping a yard or so in front of his opponent, he slammed his hands onto the ground, creating a rather large spike to emerge from the point his hands touched the earth. The spike launched itself out of the ground and straight towards the Hyuuga, which gave the Yamanaka a great delight.

He only did it once after all. It might have been a fluke, but who knows, maybe he has potential in Earth Style. Yuki backed off, and Hisaki readied another Fire Style Technique. Yuki came in fast, and Hisaki dashed in. Fire ignited at his fingertips, and he leaped forward, swinging with a claw of flames. However, Yuki had stopped a few feet ago, and got down low. From where his hand were slapped to the ground came a spear of earth that nailed Hisaki in the chest. Hisaki's ragdoll body was pushed into the air another five feet or so until the pillar stopped growing. However, Hisaki kept on moving with inertia, and fell down to the ground with a thud. He groaned, and pushed himself to a sitting position, holding his stomach, "Crap! That doesn't feel too great..." Hisaki spun over, and pushed himself to his feet. He wiped his mouth, and pointed at Yuki, "Now, keep that up! I think you have potential in Earth Release, and if we work on that, it'll be a huge asset to your skills. Score's Five to Three."

His left hand was in front of him, pointing at Yuki in such a way that one might think Hisaki was aiming. "Earth to block, Air to hit. Show me your moves!" Hisaki charged in quickly, his hand glowing ever brighter with intense flames. When Hisaki finally got within hitting range, his hand looked like the sun. The genin thrusted his flaming fist in front of him. Flames shot out of the sides of his wrists at the fourty five degree marks (given that the top of his wrist was zero). Two more jets came from below, and curled up towards the direction of the punch. The magma-like flames made the air screech, as if it had been the intended target of the fearsome manuever. As Hisaki finished the haymaker, the flames took full shape: the burning form a falcon emerged and pierced the air towards Yuki. As its wings fanned opened and the lava-like talons emerged, Hisaki yelled, "FALCON PAAAAWNCH!"

He nodded as Hisaki had the same thought going through his head as he announced the score afterwards. Five to three, maybe this won't be as tough as I thought. The Hyuuga now was shouting at him to do it again, but this time in a more structured way. Utilizing both Wind and Earth style, he would come up with a systematic way of attacking and defending. Most inadequate shinobi would probably think that, hey if I can do both Earth and Wind Style seperately, then I can activate them whenever I want and use them at will. However, that is what the problem is. A shinobi must activate them one at a time, and then do some sort of deactivation. It is just like doing Hand seals, If a ninja messes up one of the handseals within a jutsu, the jutsu won't be performed, or would have a bad outcome. He decided that, after, he should probably write down some of this in his notebook. "Ok, earth to block, air to attack." He acknowledged the plan now as Hisaki came charging towards him with something that would probably hurt if it were to connect. Earth to block. Earth to block. Earth to block! Yuki continuously chanted in his head as he made the same handseals as before, but with a bit of a change. As Hisaki closed in on the blond, he took a step back and stomped harshly with his right foot. Throwing out his right hand, a wall of dirt had risen straight from the earth itself, this time thicker than the weak shield he subconsciously made earlier. "Ha!" He shouted triumphantly as he heard the screech from his friend's attack subside, along with the flames that were barely visible beyond the wall of earth. Yuki's jutsu was successful.

After his string of seals, he 'sliced' the air in front of him with his hand. Utilizing the break in the air in front of him caused by his hand, he strengthened it with chakra. The Wind Style for ranged attacks is easy. By disrupting the air by causing movement and releasing chakra into that movement, one makes their chakra paper thin and easy to slice through anything. Even earth if they wanted to.As if on queue, the Wind style ninjutsu that he had created by moving his hand had turned into some sort of blade of wind, that easily sliced through Yuki's shield of dirt. This was supposed to be used as a surprise attack, since Hisaki would probably think Yuki would step out before performing some sort of attack. Then again, the Hyuuga also had his kekkei genkai, which allowed him to see through almost anything really. So, in the end, it was up to his opponent's reaction time and reflexes.
