He released his grip of the others arm and stood up straight, wiping his mouth on his sleeve. "Umm... sorry..." he blushed slightly and looked down, now not sure of what to say. "But you're... a dog, right?" he asked, now looking up at the other. "Don't lie... 'kay?"

A faint flush crossed the man's face as his embarrassment finally cought up with him, and he lifted a hand to rub the back of his neck awkwardly.
"I... "
Then sighing softly, he nodded slightly.
"I suppose you could say that..."
After a moment of averting his eyes, he lifted his gaze to meet the other's, the question 'What now?' clear within their depths.

"Umm... do you... like cats?" he asked somewhat hesitantly, a blush very promenent on his face. He clasped his hands behind his back, almost looking like a bumbling child, unsure of what do or say, afraid of not being ignored and wishing to please.

In an instant, the embarrassment was gone from the man's handsome face, and one brow arched elegantly, while the hand that was on his neck dropped to his side. After a moment of simply staring at the other, he stepped forward abruptly, taking hold of the smaller one's arm and pulling him close. Once their faces were mere inches apart, he leaned in, gently touching his nose to the other's flesh, just at the jaw. One deep inhale, and then he withdrew, staring at him with a sort of amazement.
"You... you're..."
At a loss for words, he simply stared, his inner monologue scolding him for not noticing it sooner. Then, finally, he sighed, leaning back against the wall once more and laughing gently.
"Yes. Yes... I do like cats."
Whether or not the statement was meant to be suggestive, was unclear, but the man was smiling, and seemed more at ease than he had the entire exchange.
((Eep... was that terrible Godmodding? I'm sorry if I was. I can change it if you want. I didn't realize it until I reread it... Ack... -Bow- Gomen Nasai!))

((xD Relax, it's fine. =P S'nothing compared to what me n' Keiji do (Keiji = you don't know him... most likely... >.>;; ). I'm really layed back, so I don't mind unless it's something REALLY big like saying he's dead or asleep when... he's not. xD))
He grinned. "Then I suppose I should start getting used to dogs, huh?" His ears and tail appeared, tail swishing back and forth. They were the same color as his hair, a very normal, indistinguishable chocolate brown that was still pleasing to the eye.

((Uhg.... I'm afraid I have bad news... I have a performance tonight and I'm getting sick, so I must go take a nap. However, I will post once mroe before I go. And I should be back on tonight at some point, so I'll talk to you then!

A pleasant, smooth laugh escaped the man as he reached into his bag and pulled out a pack of ladie's cigarettes and tucked one in the corner of his mouth.
"Heh... yeah... I suppose you will..."
The cigarettes, while strong smelling, were not unpleasant, and actually smelled quite good, compared to normal, cheap cigarettes. He lit one, then tucked the lighter away and looked back up, blue eyes sparkling with new life.
"So, Keiji.... What now?"

And if you didn't notice, yes I did name Keiji after my friend Keiji. xD))
He wrinkled his nose slightly, preparing for the strong niccoteen (I... can't spell that) odor, but instead was met with a nearly pleasant smell. He had a very sensitive nose and wasn't about to admit that a ciggarette could smell good.
He blinked. "Umm... I dunno..." he said blankly.

"Hm..."
The man stood still a moment, as if in thought, then looked back to the smaller one with a small smile.
"Are... you hungry?"
His smile persisted as he once again looked the younger one over, the slight flirtatious gleam in his blue eyes more apparent now that the fear of being discovered was gone.

He nodded. "Yeah... I was just about to go out and get something to eat before I literally ran into you." He grinned widely and his stomach growled. He blushed and looked down at his stomach. "Hush, you..." He giggled slightly nervously. "So... umm... do you have any place in mind?"

"As for money... I wasn't sure of it before but I'll try to get in touch with my parents and tell them your an orphanage that need money, most likely they will tell the people they work with and knowing them they'll donate in a heartbeat to get their names up somewhere." Micheal said crossing his arms behind his head. "But the main obstecle would be getting intouch with them... Their busy alot.." Saying that Micheal looked down but quickly shook it off.

The blonde let out a small laugh in return, running a hand through his hair again and looking both directions up and down the alley, as if hoping to see somewhere to eat at one end. Finally, however, he determined that such was not the case and bit his lip in thought.
"I... saw a nice diner uptown... sound good to you?"

"That sounds nice," he said, smiling. "Do you know what it's called? I haven't been out in the city for a while 'cos I've been too busy... But I have off time today, and hopefully from now on."

The man shrugged, smoothing his hair once more and stepping forward.
"Dunno... I know where it is, though. It's close enough to walk."
As he spoke, he reached out to put a gentle, ushering hand on the smaller one's back to direct him out of the alley.

"Mmkay!! Lead the way, umm... Johan, right?" he said, unsure. "Sorry... I'm terrible with names..." He blushed, but was conscious enough to at least walk where the older man directed him, rather than into some random telephone pole.

Another laugh escaped him, and, with a gantle hand still on the boy's back, he began to walk, out of the alley and into the now less blinding sunshine.
"Beautiful day..."
The man murmured as he walked, actually closing his eyes briefly and tilting his head up to let the sun wash over his face. Before any harm could come from his walking with his eyes closed, however, he opened them again and kept walking, still not moving his hand, and seeming rather unaware it was there in the first place.
