Beth
The Chansey gave a stifled nod and then promptly choked back a loud sob as she tried to keep herself under control. Crying hadn't done her any good and she's finally calmed down, so there was no point in becoming a mess again. The little Eevee was right. Going to the Police was probably a good idea, because they would be able to put out a missing persons... they'd be able to find her that way, right? More than anything, just the raw number of people... they'd find her wherever she was, right? She would have to believe that, because otherwise there was just no way she was ever getting her daughter back.
Yes, yes... the police would be able to help. That was the best. She would just follow the little Eevee to the station and she would get help there, because that would be for the best and they would be able to find her daughter. Right? The Chansey (whose name was apparently Beth, as she revealed on the trip) followed the little Eevee to the police station where, after talking to the Police, she was eventually left on her own to deal with the lengthy proceedings. Skye, of course, had other things to do with her life and as distressed as the Chansey was the idea of progress had calmed her down enough that she would be fine on her own.
