Unable to get a clear signal the automaton decided he could always call them after leaving. Though he had seen it all before, Remus still turned away. 'Catherine' and the full faun might have been a part of Kaok, but to Remus it felt like they were other women. It couldn't be seen through his emotionless countenance, but the Imperator was very worried. What if something were to go wrong with the machine?
"I sure hope for your sake that my Kaok returns to normal, Dr. Evros." the Imperator threatened.

The doctor shook a little for a moment, not out of fear exactly, but out of excitement, and then answered him. "She will."
Catherine had undressed - placing her clothes on a lab counter - and both women had stepped into the Centrifuge, the doors closed all the way, but the little grip marks from where the Faun had rent it open still showed, and a little bit of the two could be seen from the outside - until the machine turned on, and there was so much light inside that it was almost blinding to anyone who would have looked at it.
This went on for several minutes until the machine's whirring began to slow, and the lights began to die down. As the machine finished its work, the inside could be seen again. From their tiny little viewing-hole, only one woman would be visible, rather than two.Someone told me theres a girl out there

The nobles turned together as the light faded, their senses reaching out towards the Centrifuge, checking for a consciousness that they were familiar with, for Kaok's consciousness. Emma was still shivering faintly (not as Evros had, but from pure fear and expectation).

When the whole process had ended, the Imperator quickly walked over to the machine. He peered into the viewing porthole, he wanted to be sure the woman he loved had returned to normal.

Her mind was intact, and her body the same as it was supposed to be. Everything had worked perfectly. She was unconscious at first, but soon - all of a sudden - jolted awake. As was to be expected, her mind was having a little bit of trouble adjusting to being whole again. Her eyes darted almost frantically around the inside of the Centrifuge, having forgotten where she was.

"Kaok!"
Emma displayed a remarkable lack of restraint and common sense in that moment. The enchantress was beside Kaok faster than the others could process, her arms flung around the now-whole Faun.
"Don't you ever do that again, Kaok Jayim, don't you ever dare." She was crying and making no effort to disguise it.
Meanwhile, Hrothbert hung back, standing beside Remus.

Remus also wanted to embrace Kaok, but he stayed back until Kaok came to. Still, it was hard to restrain himself. After all, his fiance had disappeared and he had just found her again.

James nearly collapsed for joy - and from exhaustion.
"Well, actually, I was thinking... of making a habit out of it." The Faun got out, barely coherent, but still able to pull off her typical sense of humor. The shock from the sudden hug was a bit much, but she managed to get over it fairly quickly. Her arms, as if learning how to move again, wrapped around the Enchantress. "You should try this sometime."
She patted the elf woman's back reassuringly, but with Emma leaning over her in the small space of the machine, it was hard to come off convincing in that regard.Someone told me theres a girl out there

"I'm sure I will, it sounds like an invigorating experience." Emma replied, laughing with a note of joyful hysteria, still not releasing Kaok.
Realizing that she was probably crushing the Faun, Emma loosened her hold a little and tried to get both of them to their feet.

"Yes, it-." Once they were both standing outside of the machine, she saw and heard Remus. Under different circumstances, she would have rushed over in an instant. Of course, under these ones, she froze. I-is he mad? Surely, he is... I'd be mad at me. I lied. Lied to him of all people.

After a stern glance from her husband, Emma retreated to stand beside him. They stayed well away from Kaok and Remus, letting the Imperial couple have whatever argument or happy reunion they needed to have.
Something's still coming.

Remus seemed to loom over her. Even though it couldn't be seen on his face, it was obvious he was not happy.
"I am very disappointed with you, Kaok. You lied to me and disappeared! I mobilized the Praetorian Guard and practically every district police department to search for you! Then, I'm lead to this place to find you in two pieces! Do you realize what I went through to get you back?! What we went through?! If something was wrong, why didn't you tell me first?! I thought you trusted me!" the Imperator yelled.
