The blow had missed entirely, and I had made full contact, piercing his flesh with my lunge. I drove Waraku right through him. It was a clean cut, that much I knew for certain, and later this wound would heal. I had purposely missed any particulary leathal areas for now though.

"There are just some things Mai, that never change..." With that I pulled out and back. I wanted to see the damage I had caused with my blade, however neat it may have been there would still be some blood at least and that is what, I wanted to see most of all. His blood. I wanted to see him fall.

Mai coughed up blood, and blood filled his kimono. He was bound to ake another attack, things like this just wouldn't bother him, or would they. I watched his reaction and he leapt forward in rage not even bothering if he actually got me or not, just as long as he got his rage out.

As he went passed I spun and stabbed him with Waraku again straight through the back, would he notice this, he was a high level resistance member, of course he'd notice this.

And true to his instincts he dropped to roll. He'd probably heard something amongst the screaming of pain in his ears. That lunge must have hurt more than i though.

I shook my head. This wasn't how I wanted to defeat him. I wanted a good battle before, he was a good opponent.

I pulled out waraku just as he spewed forward a little blood, "So...you're not that tough.." I murmured. He had managed to land the first hit though. I held my arm for a moment Quite a deep slash.
"I'll be coming back to get you," He said and disappeared. I laughed, he was a good opponent.
I walked quickly into the Seireitei complex hoping to catch up with a few people who were capable of fighting.

I reached Inuzuri once more. Perhaps I would have to train harder, I knew I had to become faster and stronger, but the question was: How? In order to fight that thing i'd need more than my fair share at fighting, but where. Where could I fight. I saw no one who I could spar with, no one who would rise to the challenge. I sighed as i got off my horse and started to walk in the academys direction.

I walked calmly into the village and into the restauraunt.
"I'd like..." I reeled off a long list of items and had them all packed in bags. With everythin in order, and paid for, I turned around and started walking to the aqueduct. The bags...though were heavy...
"Nngh...why do they give me all the hard jobs..." I said as I struggled to walk to the nearest entrance to the underground network. I lifted up the top and then jumped down.

Tsai walked the streets in search for a merchant who sold glasses. He looked around, water shops, jewelry, not a single one had glasses. He walked into a pub to ask if their was an eye wear merchant near by.
"Excuse me, do you happen to know if there is an eye wear merchant nearby in this area?" he asked the owner. "Oh yes, there's an old man who comes here to sell his eye ware, but due to the recent thefts and robberies by , he rarely comes out, maybe if you help catch the thief Mr. Shinigami.. perhaps he may come out again".
"Thank you," Tsai replied as he came out of the pub. He would have to deal with the robberies and thefts one way or another if he wished to purchase some glasses for himself. Tsai knew if he didn't get glasses he would basically be a blind shinigami.

Tsai decided to set up his own shop to lure the thief out but with what could he lure him out with? He checked his bag for his inventory. He had his herbs which could be sold but a thief wouldn't steal it. Then he had a spare shinigami outfit, naw..
He dug deeper into his bag, he found some shiny rocks, when did he pick these up?. "Perhaps these could be used. He got a box and lay a cloth over it then displayed his set of rocks and sat there waiting either for a customer or the thief to show himself.

Tsai went away to change to civilian clothing. No one could recognize him now. He sat near his wares and waited for a customer or a thief to arrive.
A few minutes later, a man came by and looked at the stones. "How much are these?" he asked looking rather interested in them. Tsai placed out a sign that said 50 dollars each. The man looked disappointed at the price and left.
Tsai watched him leave, but then he looked at his inventory, the stone was gone. Was this the thief. He grabbed his stuff and began chasing the man down.
The man realizing this began running quickly too, he was fast for an average civilian. Tsai chased him down the street bumping into people as he went. He chased the man into an alley. Here, he was corner. "Aren't you the thief that roams here usually?" he interogated.
"No, I swear, I was forced to, the Hideki Clan forced me to, they threatened to hurt me," he said in fear as he dropped the stone onto the ground. "Hideki Clan?" Tsai looked puzzled. "Where are they located?" he continued to question the frightened man.
"South of the pub, they have many members, mostly men, I don't know how they managed to get into Soul Society," the man replied as he dropped down to his knees. Tsai turned and began walking. "Keep the stones, I got business with the Hideki Clan".

Tsai arrived at a large house south of the pub he was at. There were armed guards there, wielding what appeared to be katana. They wore a bright green yukata.
"Maybe if I try to go through the back" Tsai wondered as he slipped past to go through the backdoor, there was always a backdoor, the archetects who designed Sereitei made them like that.
Behind the house there were also armed guards, two of them. Tsai had no choice he tied his zampakuto to his back and wrapped his hands in bandages, he didn't want to kill any of them, he just needed to knock them out. He moved quickly behind one of the guards and hit the back of his neck.
The other guard tried to pull his katana, but Tsai moved quickly behind and did the same thing to him. Tsai pushed the door open a bit, to see if there were any guards inside. There were 4 guards inside but they seemed to be enjoying what seemed to be sake. "How could they get such things in this district?" he wondered as he slowly crept in trying not to be noticed.

He made his way inside and hid in the shadows. The house was dark and lit only by candles, he had to take out these guards if he wanted to investigate more thoroughly. He lurked in the shadows, waiting for the guards to knock themselves out with sake. They were obviously drinking too much. Soon, they fell over one by one. Tsai came out and pig tied them and tossed them outside. They were probably going to be asleep for sometime. He would have to make his way to the front door to take care of the other guards so he could find the leader of the Hideki Clan.
Tsai walked through the house and soon entered a large room...full of armed men. This was probably a training hall. "Oh crap.." Tsai muttered as he got ready to engage them.
The armed guards charged at Tsai all of them wielding bokkens and screaming at the top of their lungs.
