Eros + LilithEros quickly appeared on top of the roof area, staring around at the pretty scenery...but now wasn't the time for such trivial, if pretty, matters! He needed to find those thieves! He needed those dusk stones to evolve~
Lilith meanwhile was also staring around, still attached to Eros, though not to his 'tentacle' like hair, since that bothered the ghost type, she just rode on his head. The vampkarp could tell Eros was worried about something, "...Vell...Where is...whatever we are looking for?"
Eros just frowned, "Thieves Lilith."
Lilith gasped, "Oh! ....Can I suck their blood if we find them?" She asked genuinely curious. Eros just sighed.

Eros would have to look elsewhere for the Dusk Stone. It didn't seem the thieves were here at the moment and if they were, they were probably long gone.

~Finian ~Ein
"So..Why are we on the roof?" The inquiry invaded the air directly behind Finian, specifically as if the speaker was latched onto his neck or something. "Because I have to find my...Wait? What?" The Absol began to respond without second guessing the fact that he was holding conversation without any companionship that he knew of; sense only coming to him mid statement. The canine Pokemon proceeded by whipping his head back and forth violently so to dislodge his uninvited guest which he was now aware of but had yet to get a visual on; Ein reacting accordingly and releasing himself from the scruff of the Absol before maneuvering himself into a hovering position by Finian's face. "Hi there! I'm your new teammate, Ein. Why are we on the roof?" "You're a Ce-..." "Yep." The statement wasn't allowed to be finished in full before a curt answer was given. "Why are we on the roof of this lovely establishment? I'd wish to continue my tour now." The question was presented for a third time, now containing a bit more impatience in the toning of it as it seemed that Ein was under the impression that he was receiving a grand tour of the guild with little commentary involved by his guide. A process he was perfectly fine with until they came to a halt on the roof. "I'm looking for the thieves and it seemed logical to start from the top and work my way down." Finian found himself explaining his reasoning per request though he wasn't sure what the hell this guy's problem was or why he wasn't helping for that matter. By this point the Absol was at least aware that many others were hot on the trail hopefully also per the loud speaker announcement that he had caught ear of while racing up and down the corridors of the guild. "Well you're not doing a very good job. I don't think they're even here. Try harder. You didn't even introduce yourself. Such a rude tour guide you are." A slew of irked statement came in response by the Celebi who wasn't exactly pleased with the fact that he just lost out on his free ride around the guild along with the matter that it seemed he was almost expected to help out on the problem at hand by this point in his involvement. When he gave his word over to the guild he wasn't expecting such menial tasks as this, helping stupid little Absols and whatnot. "Finian..." The Disaster Pokemon could only give up his title in response for a lack of anything better.

Though there was no doubt that it would only continue to fuel Ein's behaviour, the rooftop was empty as far as anyone could tell. Though, if Finian took the time to look around properly he would find that there seemed to be something happening on the Training Field. Maybe it was worth checking out?

The only exit they could find in the attic was to the roof, no surprise seeing as it was right above. It was real tiny too...seeing as it was a window. Jay and Blue got out no problem, Jay turning into a bird and Blue climbing with his claws. Red was easily retrievable by the now-flying Zorua and the three were able to make it to the roof with no complications.
Jay turned into a Noctowl, his claws holding Red by her collar as he flew high overhead. Why a Noctowl? Well, they were known for the fact that their wings flapped more silent than usual bird pokemon.
Blue? Blue is on the ledge, hiding. If Jay saw anything above he promised to swoop down and get him...he'd get him, right?

Irilyss The day was a bitter cold; the chill of the turn in the season was quite evident. Up above the sun was concealed behind a layer of clouds that might hold the promise of oncoming weather, and down below there wasn't a soul about save for a lone figure who made her way about silently. The way she moved was as though she found the day fragile and was afraid to break it, a silly concept but not far from the lines along which the cloaked Gardevoir thought. Irilyss meandered carefully along the rooftop with her eyes trailing to the ground as she wandered. This time of year was one that she appreciated; the lack of...everything was somehow comforting. The world just slept on silently, blissfully oblivious to anything that happened throughout its slumber. Sometimes she wished that there could be times such as this, when the world would still and nothing would move forward for a brief time. Just for a while, then it could keep moving onward, but those moments would be something that she would cherish if they could possibly happen.
Irilyss walked across purposefully to the side of the roof and placed her hands on the cold metal of the railings. The wind was strong up here, whipping her cloak back viciously as it bit at her skin and brought the chill to her very bones. Still the Gardevoir didn't seem to mind, she simply looked out over the land far below with tired eyes that seemed too old for the face that they belonged to. There were plenty of Pokemon down below going about their business without paying attention to one another, hurrying about the marketplace and between houses of the city without more of a worry than whatever their current task happened to be. They likely weren't even aware that she was watching them from here, far above the delicate balance that made their lives. Was this how Arceus felt? Watching all of his creations carry on with their lives and knowing that he could alter anything at any time. One word-one breath and they would be scattered about like fallen leaves and thrown into chaos. That sort of responsibility, she didn't want to think of what it must be like to possess it. Of course, perhaps Arceus himself didn't want to either. Where had he been throughout this entire ordeal? Nowhere near enough to spare a moment to help a Pokemon in need it seemed.
The chill of the metal bar had numbed the Gardevoir's hands by this point but she didn't notice that so much as the cutting wind on her face. With a sigh she pulled her cloak about her more tightly to keep some of the cold from her and turned from the side to turn and lean against the rail as she stared up at the clouds. Her hand unconsciously moved to clutch at the coin within her pocket as she did so: the cross that she bore, the mark of a hunted Pokemon. It was a constant and sobering reminder that safety was a fragile thing and the days she'd have it were likely numbered. With a sigh she closed her eyes and patiently stood; waiting for something to happen yet waiting for nothing at all.

AnuesIf he idled anywhere in the guild, it was here. Especially after the event with Phione, now he felt he had to be close by. The area itself was not commonly visited, or so it seemed thus far and the weather itself likely did little to help it's popularity, not that he himself took to the cold at all either. In fact the Gardevoir managed awfully in the cold but the overreacting was all done mentally, leaving him to simply stand there to his thoughts as if the condition or issue itself didn't exist at all. It was how most things went over in actuality. Anues paid little mind to the female making her own entrance hours after him. For the moment, at least. From where he stood, she likely wouldn't notice him without looking over the area first but she seemed rather lost in thoughts. Not that that appeared to be anything new. Often hiding his own presence as well, he'd might as well not exist to begin with unless you did see him. Though he was never exactly hiding to begin with, it was nice to be able to simply move into things when you wanted to most of the time rather than instantly the moment another found you. It was probably the reason he disliked socializing to begin with. Though Anues personally wasn't antisocial, others just wouldn't keep his interest leaving him to bore quickly and thus they were no longer worth dealing with.
As Irilyss began to fidget, it was safe to assume she would likely move soon as well, leaving Anues to finally take his step away from the rooftop's edge and begin to make his advance with no real rush at all. "Cold, wouldn't you say? Being out here won't help your complexion." By the time Irilyss could actually open her eyes, the Gardevoir already stood by her side, staring off unmindfully as he so often did. He almost seemed bored. Aire disliked the cold so making her go anywhere was a lost cause.

Irilyss The female Gardevoir's eyes opened slowly upon hearing the familiar voice, almost unsurprised to hear it. It wasn't often that she went somewhere without him showing up more often than not as ironic as it was. The person who she'd met once by the slightest of chance ended up being an almost common companion upon her joining of this Guild; it was a rather singular phenomena. When Irilyss did open her eyes she merely had to shift them to the side to see the figure belonging to the voice and a faint smile crossed her face. "Good afternoon Anues," she said quietly, her voice swiftly carried away by the wind as it brushed by. She shifted her position slightly so that she was looking more toward her companion, a action that was also an acceptance of his presence. "I personally think a bit of winter chill isn't going to kill either myself or anyone else," she said, "And if it won't kill me, I might as well enjoy it."
Her eyes wandered to the clouds above for another moment, wondering if it would in fact end up snowing; it was certainly the right weather for it. The Psychic turned her gaze back to Anues' rather shortly though, her mind tended to wander easily if she didn't keep closely focused on whatever situation was at hand. She hadn't seen the other Gardevoir recently, not since the day that he'd been lying unconscious in the Team's sleeping quarters when she'd returned and there had been all sorts of trouble with Phione. He was looking rather well, all things considered, and a little different than before though she couldn't exactly place what was different. She looked at him with a sort of idle half-curiousity and spoke up yet again. "And what happens to bring you here?" Irilyss inquired, politely keeping up the conversation, "As you mentioned it is rather on the colder side which doesn't seem to make this the most attractive place for visiting."

AnuesMaking no attempt to look at the other Gardevoir, Anues merely frowned at her reply as he recalled the stinging numbness of his ear tips. He maintained his silence once she'd finished, possibly considering his own response until she'd spoken up once again and he finally took a moment to look back at her before his eyes naturally drifted elsewhere. "Afternoon... Nothing in particular." the nonchalant reply was accompanied by the male leaning back against the railing and then rocking slightly as if timing himself before hopping up to sit on the rail's edge. "Lack of things to do, avoiding things I don't want to do. If I'm not home, I'm more than likely within kingdom grounds. How's Phione?" Looking back at Irilyss with his own response, eye contact was kept. At least for a moment before looking the female Psychic over. Anues left too quickly to get an idea of what exactly happened to the child that day. All he knew was that it was bad. He didn't need a story, merely an update. Wouldn't be the first time he ditched something or someone, after all. At least, it felt that way. His eyes wandered toward the ground as silence returned. It was a rather settle awkwardness. Probably more so from the outside, not that he cared. It made conversation go at an almost unnecessary pace.

Irilyss Irlyss watched her companion with a measured gaze, not particularly swayed one way or another as to whether she appreciated the unexpected company or not. She nodded slightly at his explanation, finding it less than surprising; the response was just like him to say, cryptic but tactfully so. "Sounds rather similar to my own situation," she remarked wryly, leaning against the bar again half-consciously. Time was a fickle thing; there was always too little of it until you didn't need it, at which point it would seem to go on forever, and vice versa. Now was one of those times when time seemed to float by when it wasn't particularly needed. If only she could bottle up these hours and save them somewhere for when she could use them. The tangent of a thought held her thoughts and left her pondering it even after Anues had asked a question of his own. She'd taken note of the question but wasn't really considering it thoroughly in favor of chasing the butterfly of fancy for a few moments.
It was something she'd taken to more recently, the daydreams that would preoccupy her thoughts, and she couldn't pinpoint when they'd gotten to the point that they had. Yes, the odd thoughts had always been around, ever since she was young, but recently she'd been inexplicably having more of them. The Psychic never had trouble coming back from the thoughts but her measure of time wasn't the best so she didn't always realize just how long she kept others waiting. Thus why the pair stood in silence for a few moments before Irilyss blinked abruptly, as though coming out of a daze, and proceded to answer Anues' question. "I wouldn't know," she said pensively, "I haven't seen him in days." The Gardevoir paused as though she wasn't about to say anything more, but fortunately for her companion she spoke up again shortly although the pause was too long to be a continuation of what she'd been saying before. "Avaria took care of matters with him quickly, I only saw him once before he left. She and Sereni both knew what they were doing it seemed like though, well I suppose it's expected since one's a Legendary and the other used to work for Manaphy... At any rate, they mentioned something about Phione's father and proper healing before he left. Well, really they took him. When Ava and Eon came back there was a lot of chaos and then nothing." She frowned slightly, a thoughtful look in her gaze. "It's easy to miss him when he's not around..." she murmured, mostly to herself.

AnuesHis gaze quickly returned to Irilyss as she began to speak; his expression instantly horrified, assuming her lack of knowledge meant something far worse as if he'd woken up and ran away at some point for whatever reason. His gaze seemed to advance beyond the other Gardevoir and at nothing in particular as he promptly lowered himself from the rail, tensed as if about to act on something until his ears gave an attent twitch as she continued. Anues' expression weakened drastically by that point though the look of exhaustion was nothing short of relief alone. Concerned regardless, he merely nodded. It wasn't like they could do anything, true. Legendaries were such strange beings. Phione was so young though and the Gardevoir no longer felt the need, or even want to stay around.
Calming regardless, Anues leaned back against the bar once again and looked on absent-mindedly, coming to terms with his thoughts. "Sorry to hear, though I imagine things will be fine given time." the statement was best left to convince himself at the most and move along. He had other matters to attend to anyway. "By the way, there's a rock of sorts in your pocket; it's small enough to easily fit in your palm. I meant to swap it prior, but you're compulsively fiddling with it. That anxiety is just as bad for you as this weather." Anues sighed as if defeated, trailing off in his words as he crossed his arms in attempt to trap heat. He was around the female Gardevoir enough to at least give the object some sort of classification, though nothing more, sadly. An eerie feel kept his psychic at bay for some time now. Left unable to advance further, he'd might as well bring it up already. At least it'll change the topic. He'd only hoped that the prior would have given him the distraction he needed.

Irilyss The panic she had momentarily incited in Anues seemed to escape Irilyss' notice for the most part. She didn't act on it in any case, although she did seem to give him a long look after she'd finished in watching the abrupt display of emotions from the other Gardevoir. Untroubled, the female Psychic smiled a bit as he sent her attentions elsewhere again and waited for her companion to collect himself. It really was rather cold up here the more she considered it, she was almost willing to say flat out that it would start snowing any minute, her uncertainties dismissed. Even as the thought crossed her mind she felt a gentle touch upon her hand and looked down to find what remained of a swiftly melting snowflake there. Another smile crossed her expression, pleased at the start of the snow; it was about time they had some, considering how late in the season it was already. She looked up to watch the beginning of its fall, scarce and small flakes that melted upon contact with the ground. Soon though, she felt that they would grow larger and begin to stick, she couldn't explain why, it was just a feeling. The female Gardevoir simply nodded distractedly when Anues gave his condolances; she was sure that Phione would be fine as well, he was in good hands after all.
The next comment he made caught Irilyss completely off her guard, snapping her back to attention as though he'd smacked her in the face. Her hand hovered over the pocket in question off of nothing more than reflex and her eyes widened considerably, mortified by his mention of it. Sometimes she'd thought it was only something she could see because no one had ever mentioned it to her before this point, but it was always there to haunt her without fail. For just a moment as she looked at him with that dismay, the haunted glimmer of her past lurked within her eyes but it was quickly replaced with mere shock, gone so fast that it might not have been there at all. "It's...just something that I carry," she said hesitantly, unsure how to possibly explain something that she didn't understand herself, and unsure if she even wanted to explain it. "A coin, nothing special." It was a lie within a truth, the coin wasn't special but it was definitely cursed somehow. She didn't want to get into that, she tried to avoid thought of it if all possible. In fact, Anues' mention of it chilled her to the core more than the weather did; the uneasy feeling that came with the metal she carried intensified at the very mention of it. With any luck he'd drop the subject, Irilyss was beginning to feel that speaking of it would turn out badly.

AnuesAnues' attention drifted only for a moment before catching the other Gardevoir's alarmed reaction out of the corner of his eye. He himself didn't react at all, having expected nothing less. He merely stared back at her almost as if to wonder what the problem was. He wasn't expecting her to blow it off. Not entirely. Anues' attention halved away from the female's anxiety as he uncrossed his arms to rub his eyes. Lying should be left to those who expect everything, but that was just pitiful. He was torn between playing along or not as he finally dropped his arms to his sides, looking back at the still seemingly mortified female. "Well, nothing special then right? Might I see it while I recall the conversation where I saw this look last?" The question was left hanging for a moment, looking almost unamused in the short silence. "... or we could play the secret game, that's more exciting. Tell me a secret and I tell you a secret. It seems more your fancy."
Single tracked mind on a whim, but it kept him in line if anything. Doing such to Aire became a thing of the past-- or at least he felt no need to do so currently. He didn't particularly like or dislike doing it and it wasn't fun either. It was actually exhausting but something about it felt necessary as well. He didn't understand it, so he'd might as well test it. It wasn't like he had anything else to do.

Irilyss The next words out of Anues' mouth were quite possibly the least pleasant words she'd ever heard him say. She had never been the best of liars, far from it, but she hadn't expected to be so bluntly shot down for such a harmless statement; it was a bit painful to endure really. He looked at her with a gaze that was more than enough to say that he wasn't buying a word of her statement. His addition to the phrase kept her puzzled and she didn't react at all at first, keeping herself from panicking being the priority and a difficult one at that. Irilyss didn't particularly know what struck the male to say such things as he did, she doubted she'd ever understand entirely, but she did know that she didn't want to play mind games right now. It was too much for her to deal with, the stress on her mind was too great to tolerate what with her worry on the subject already. "If it's all the same to you I'm sure you'd rather keep your secrets," she said mildly, which also implied that she'd prefer to keep hers. "It's not any of my business to know what you'd rather not tell."
She handled it really rather well, all things considered, even though internally she wasn't managing nearly so nicely. The uneasy feeling that she got whenever she considered the coin too much or spoke about that day had spiked to an alarming height and she didn't like it one bit. It made her feel as though she was being watched even though she knew for certain that no one else was around save herself and Anues. Irilyss looked extremely unnerved as she considered her companion closely worried both for and about him. "Listen..." she said with discomfit, "It's something better left without mention. It doesn't need to be given any more thought than anything else." The female Gardevoir's voice was almost pleading as she said it. She bore no ill will to Anues and it was by virtue of that that she didn't want him to get involved with it. That was the reason why she didn't mention it to anyone, no one else needed to be put through the trials that were her own. There was no point in bringing suffering to others that she saw, better to leave things as they lay where there was no harm done. In the end that was what mattered.
