Taigaa-tono Whether that's the case or not, it doesn't change the fact that there are many plot holes, BS powerups, underdeveloped characters, powerful character that are supposed to be uber but are proved to be nothing towards Butterflaizen, multiple plot devices and ridiculous dimensional analogies.
I mean, come on. Sure it might be difficult, but that's no excuse to abandon characters (Grimmjow, Neliel, Nnoitra, Kensei, Papa Ishida) and write off the friggin' Captain Commander like he was s**t simply because you want your antagonist to turn into a fairy and your main character to become a 5th dimensional God. At least Sandaime managed to take Orochimaru's arms before he died and Yondaime managed to debilitate and steal the Kyuubi from Madara before he died. What was Yamamoto's final act? Saving a fake town and subordinates who had already been touted as being able to throw their life away for the cause.
Yes, I am negative, but with good reason. >< Suprisingly I'm with you for the most part. Except with Yama. He needed to die. He waited so long to step in because he was sure he could own Aizen's skull backwards alone, and he watched the other captain's get flash raped. Aizen, knowing he'd get his gameshark stomped out of him, created something....I think..to counter the god zanpaku-to but was still able to be owned by hands...because he's that strong. I would've stopped reading if Yamamoto, weaponless slapped Aizen to death because that would've been just as dumb as Yuzu stomping Aizen. (Not literally > > ) But uh...Yama's suicide was good, because it was last ditch, but dumb ONLY because it barely burned Aizen...I actually forgot my point. < < I've stopped like 20 times while typing this.

@Akira: I wouldn't have minded if Yama curbstomped Aizen, because it would have been a deviation from this cliched Ichigod has to save the world because he's the main character deal. I personally like that Luffy didn't end up beating the hell out of Sengoku or Garp or the admirals even though they were, at the time, the main antagonistic force betwen him and Ace. No, instead he had friends and allies help him get around this and rescue Ace without beating anyone except Coby and a few redshirts that no one cares about. xd
I would have written it where Yama beats the s**t out of Aizen, but gets fatally wounded in the process. Aizen then retreats to SS while Ichigo gets curbstomped by Gin. Aizen makes King's Key but has to wait to use it. Yama is out of the fight, Ichigo trains legitimately with the UraYoruIshi trio and not in a damn hyperbolic time tunnel, Aizen does key a year later, Ichigo and whoever follows, they fight, Ichigo fatally wounds him, and the Royal Guard captain finds them and rapes Aizen in the face with his/her own powers. blaugh
Kubo kinda wrote himself into a hole by making his antagonist so ridiculously powerful and the Espada so ridiculously not as powerful. I think if the vizards had never existed, UraYoruIshi would have showed up earlier and had to deal with some of the Espada instead of being trounced by Aizen and being basically useless in the war just like the vizard were (sans Hachigen who is the baddest ******** in the joint). I think Kubo made far too many characters than necessary. ><
I'm pretty sure I went all over the board with this one, but I'm sure it makes sense somewhere. xd
@dragoon: I'm not entirely fond of that mind set. It's just a cop out when you really think about it and a terribly poor excuse to add retarded things to your work of art. Sure, it's his world, but that doesn't mean he should write terrible, nonsensical things into his story line.
That's like if JK Rowling wrote that Neville killed Voldemort by infecting him with super cancer, and just said "oh well. It's my world, so I can do whatever the hell I want to it."
It's a poor excuse, it ruins your story, and it doesn't get your fan base back after they start raging. I personally don't understand how in the hell his editors are allowing this silliness to continue.

Characters have their ups and downs... Everyone is biased in their own eyes and opinions. Truly, if Kubo was a underdeveloped and unskilled storyteller, to label him, his story would not go this far and successful. And if he was not, since the series continued, then he wrote the story with success just like the characters did. The characters write the story not the plotline written before them. You are, I think, just disappointed because some of your choices were put vaguely in the series. Do not worry, or at least have some faith in Kubo's work. He, of all people, should know that these characters are stronger than they seem. He, of all people, should know how strong the characters he created.

Yeah. I used to have that outlook. But not anymore, since I've come to realize exactly how messed up the series is. What you're failing to grasp about it's popularity is the fact that most fans, more than likely about 75% of them, don't even fully grasp the story and are only orgasming over giant tits, long-haired bishounens, and the dazzling aesthetics Kubo uses. Yes, he is a stupendous artist, but not a good writer. Of course, this is in Japan. Over here, it's pretty easy to tell it's nowhere near as popular, as VIZ Media has not begun translating and putting out multiple volumes like it has for both Naruto and One Piece. I'm not disappointed by the lack of my choices being in there at all, because very rarely does that ever happen in any manga I read, yet Oda continues to dazzle me every week with One Piece. I'm disappointed in Kubo, because he's let his story rot away, and it's not even that hard to notice.
As for Kubo, he doesn't know all of that. He said so himself in an interview that he has no strict plan for this series and makes it up as he goes along. This fact alone, while sending up red flags to any analytical manga reader, sets it worlds apart from Naruto and One Piece, whose mangaka plan their next move carefully before putting pen to paper. I'm sorry, but despite it's popularity in Japan, the story is s**t. There's no two ways around that, and I'm definitely NOT the only person who feels that way. I do give Kubo credit where it is due, and that is in his creation of the amazing world of Bleach itself. I love it, I love the whole world, and it's the only thing that keeps me Role Playing Bleach. 3nodding
In conclusion, popularity does not mean it's any good. Twilight is incredibly popular, but I think it's the stupidest series of books I've ever had the displeasure of reading.

I personally think bleach 'Manga/Anime' began to fail from I'd say the 'Save Rukia series'. I wasn't at first fond that Ichigo, someone whom is completely new to his abilities, was able to take down Byakuya, even though he sustained some injuries? Not to mention is bullshit Hollow powers, I've had just about enough of that. He didn't seem to hurt after their fight, Byakuya seemed in worse shape, but that's just me. Personally, I think Ichigo has been overpowered from pretty much the beginning and I hate how the series is going. I was also quite let down by how much hype was made about the Vizard's and then, when they get into battle, they really aren't able to do much, seeing as Captains are the ones that pretty much did everything, in fact, they couldn't beat one of them, two Vizard's + Captain aren't able to get at one and it takes Aizen to kill her. Kubo has failed miserably in his storyline, and now, now we have Fairy Aizen, and super overly haxed Ichigo, I suppose Ichigo will become the new Captain-Commander? Or perhaps the new King? Who knows.

Weird that Ichigo is the only Vizard to have had the sense to use both his mask and his Bankai at the same time.
I mean, even Shinji never went pass Shikai. True, I suppose Ichigo just has massive reiryouku reservoirs, but still, even Muguruma Kensei decided to go all out and use Tenken Tachikaze. We didn't even get to see Yamamoto's Bankai, his Shikai reduces all creation to ash, what more would his Bankai do? Instead Kubo opted to make him go boom, dammit.
Anyway, on to the recent chapter... why is it that overly powered villains are always sealed and never killed off. "The dark king whathisname was sealed in his tomb... blah blah." you'd think they'd at least get a pike, or two, and drive it into Aizen now that he's lost both his zanpakuto and the Hougyoku.
Edit: *is aware that he uses the same cliche set-up* xd

Can't Aizen just die and a new antagonist come in? Lots of Anime do that, they have a main story, main bad guy, he dies, and some other a*****e appears. Aizen is over done and I'm getting sick of it. Maybe they could kill off the entire cast, and sorta, have it so some other person like Ichigo finds out he's a soul reaper and blah blah blah.

Well, Kubo had been relying on Aizen's hax skills since ages. He can't just give him up.
Edit: Meh... He could. XD

NOOOOOO! Ichigo became uber hottness with his long black hair, then they took it all off, and put it back to white, or orange. NO! And because he lost all his Shinigami powers, I can't see my Kenpachi anymore T-T Sadfaces all around.... When I read the last chapter I was all like:
'And so the story ends... Ichiruki is no longer a possibility, and Ichihime is going to be a reality.... Well damn! BYE BYE KENNY!!! ' And then I almost cried. O..O
