Gitano smiled a bit as the kitten stalked the orange. He had placed his hands in his pockets after setting the orange down and was leaning on the counter when Suzuka picked Cinder up. "It's no problem," he said, pulling his hands so that he could offer the cat an orange slice. But the letter fell out as he pulled out his hands and landed face up with Suzuka's name written in Usagi's hand. S*** too early...
((akward moment for Gitano twisted ))

Therin quietly watched the goings on with her customary little smile. She couldn't help giggling a bit at the antics of Suzuka's little kitten.
But her amusement faded quickly when she noticed the letter fall out of Gitano's pocket and land with Suzuka's name showing. he girl would have o be blind not to notice, and Therein was pretty sure she wasn't.
Suzuka was relieved that no one seemed upset about Cinder's antics. She knew some people weren't animal lovers, but these guys seemed alright.
When Gitano offered a piece of orange to the kitten, she held him so he could get at it. He sniffed it curiously then took a tentative lick. He pulled back, sneezed and shook his head before licking his face fiercely, looking rather annoyed over the whole situation.
Suzuka giggled and was raising the little fur ball to her face for a kiss when she noticed the envelope with her name on it. Putting Cinder on the counter, she picked it up and looked at it. "What's this?" She looked up at Gitano, a look of upset confusion and question on her face.

A small, quick smile passed Gitano's face at Cinder's reaction to the orange, but faded quickly as Suzuka picked up the letter.
He looked sadly at her, then down at the letter. Not able to look at her he looked out of the window and answered, "Your Grandfather asked that we give that to you when you came." He looked back at her with a sad smile, "We wanted to make sure you where comfortable before handing it to you."
He looked over to Therein and mouthed, "Arisu, Thorn" so that the two woman would be able to help answer any questions Suzuka was bound to have after reading the letter.

Thorn was egarly watching the whole scene from the living room and when she saw Gitano mouth her name. She ran , at normal human speed, into the kittchen. Man , this was the moment Thorn was waiting for. Her body was filled with excitement and hyperness. She could'nt wait to answer any questions Suzuka had . When Thorn entered the kittchen . She walked over to the counter and sat at a bar stool beside Suzuka.
(starting tuesday i wont be on until next sunday , i'll be on a school trip)

(Sorry this is so long, but Usagi's letter..... BTW, have fun. Where you going?)
Therin covertly nodded when Gitano asked her to bring Arisu and Thorn in, but before she could move, Thorn came dashing in and sat at the counter.
Therin sighed and stayed where she was, figuring if Thorn knew enough to come, Arisu would get the idea too. Therin just stayed where she was, too nervous to sit.
Suzuka stared between the envelope and the three people in the kitchen with her. Since no one seemed like they were going to tell her more, she nervously opened it and pulled out the letter. Unfolding it with shaking hands, she began to read.
(Now, I'm just pulling this out of thin air, so if there's something you want changed, just let me know.)
My dear Suzuka,
If you are reading this, it means I'm dead, you have moved into my house and discovered that you are far from alone. I'm sorry for not telling you before, but I'm hoping that you will soon understand.
Now, I'm sure you heard stories from the people in the town before you got to the house. People love their gossip and their ghost stories. Many of the tales you heard are greatly exaggerated. I hope that you haven't let them put you off.
As they may or may not have told you, your new house mates are all good people who had nowhere else to go. I took them in, gave them a place to live, and in turn, they have given me friendship and companionship. As I've gotten older, I have come to rely on them more and more, and they have yet to let me down.
I wanted to tell you this to help make you understand better about them and be able to keep this in mind when you read what I have to tell you next.
There is something you have to know about your housemates, and you may find it hard to believe. Everyone in the house is a vampire. Yes, the myths are, at least to a point, true. Each of the 'children' can explain better to you about their stories than I can, and I'm sure they will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have.
I hope that you aren't too angry with me for keeping this from you, and I hope you can find it in your heart to get to know these good people who have been my friends.
I know you may find this hard to believe, but I love you and I have your entire life.

For a moment, Suzuka was too shocked to say or do anything. I mean, it was pretty obvious her grandfather had kept his housemates a secret, and she had heard rumors about them and this house, but..... "This isn't true. There's no way that this can be true. What is this all about?" She looked to those in the kitchen for answers, not sure if she was going to cry, scream or just completely lose it.

Gitano looked at Suzuka and smiled softly. "Do you think your Grandfather would lie to you about something like this?" he asked her. He knelt down to scratch Cinder's chin and added, "I think it best if you sit down."

Arisu walked in and saw Suzuka reading the letter. She panicked a little, but forced herself to calm down. When she was done, Arisu took another step closer. "I am sorry about keeping this from you. I know it seems like important information to know. But we had to. I hope you understand..." she said.
((...Okay, so this just came out of nowhere and took me two minutes. I expected to take a bit longer for a post this size. I usually do.))

Therin watched Suzuka's reaction. It wasn't exactly a good reaction, but Therin couldn't say she was surprised. "Suzuka, I know this is going to be hard for you to understand. Just know that nothing that has happened here since you arrived has been a lie or pretend. The kindness we've shown you has been real. We would never do anything to harm you, just like we never hurt Usagi."
Suzuka numbly pulled out a stool and sat as Gitano suggested as she listened to the others trying to reassure her that everything was real, but that it was all alright. "I....I suppose you're right. If you had wished to cause harm, I'm sure you could have done so before now...." She sat there for a moment with her head down, then looked up at them. "Grandfather said you could explain to me...?"
