' I shouldn't be here...'
That was the first thing that came to the girl's mind. The second- ' Boy do I feel tried, but it's obvious I must've already been sleeping for a while.'
Yume stared expressionlessly at the shut door infront of her. She woke inside this room. Soft padded walls- comfertable, and safe.
The door wasn't open to this room before, somehow she knew that already- but someone had opened it for her form the outside.
Immediatly she had stepped over the threshold into the hallway without a second thought. Instinctively knowing she had to leave.
Strangely enough.. she DID remember the cool feel of the steel latch, the one needed to turn in order to make it open. She had dreamt about it.
Next thing she knew, Yume was awake, staring at the open door from the inside.
And now she was staring at the latch she had dreamed about.
"..what do I do now?" she whispered to herself, and she touched the handle lightly- as if it could burn her, confirming it's exitence.
"..where am I?...I'm so tired."

I don't know where I am! The thought ran through Luna's head as she ran throughout the endless maze of corridors. She was lost for a good half an hour, and didn't want to admit it, until she kept seeing the same doors over and over agin.
Or are they different halls, but it's just that they all look the same? "Oh, I don't know!" Luna finally came to a halt at one of the halls, and laid her back against a wall, then slid down it as she started to cry.
"Apollo, if you're here, please find me soon and help me..." she whispered to herself, knowing fairly well that as for the time being, she was all alone.

...crying?...'
Yume lifted her head, which she had unconciously started drooping in her sleepiness. And turned towards the muffled noise.
Was someone here?
It makes sense... it was a building after all, and truth be told, it showed no signs of prolonged neglect. No creepy spider webs, or dark and gloomy hallways, it looked fairly kept.
Which proposed a question...
Where were the caretakers of this facility?
Stepping from the wall, Yume began walking. She yawned, and strained her ears, trying to isolate the location of the sound..and where it was coming from. Oddly enough... she felt kinda funny. She distinctly felt the presence of someone.(Luna)

Luna quieted her sobbing fo a minute as she sensed the presence of another. She tood up and looked around.
"Hello? Is anyone here?" she asked. Luna hesitated before asking the question for she had no clue wheter the person answering would be friendly or quite the opposite.
Please...let it be Apollo. Was what went through the young Elven girl's mind, hoping her prayers were answered.

Oh yah- there was definitely something there!
She could feel it- almost touch the sensation like it was some kind of tangible thing! WEIRD!
And of course, before this unusual awareness started spawning thoughts of possible insanity- a voice actually called out!
' Well I'll be damned!' she thought. Heh if only she knew...
It didn't sound too far away. The voice was feminine and ..slightly afraid. Not that she'd blame whom ever it was. She would be freaked too.. if she just wasn't sooo tiiiired.
Maybe if she swallowed a pill ro two, she'd wake up and act more appropriately.
" Ummm..*YAWN*... h-hello? Yah- I'm ...here. Are you ok? Where are you?"
She answered, hoping perhaps this stranger would answer and illuminated her location to the wandering narcoleptic.

Luna tensed up again, but felt a bit of sadness. Oh, it wasn't him...
Well, maybe this person can help me, thought Luna. "Y-yes, I'm fine..."said Luna. Oh, I wish I had Apollo's courage. She was always more timid than her brother, and wished she could be more like him in that sense.
"I'm right around the corner. Just turn right," Luna said as she used her hearing to discern the location of the stranger.

Using the next hint she was given, eventually the girl came around the next corner yawning again. She was surprised to see huddled on the floor was another young girl..or..so she thought, with pale blue hair. And pointed ears?
Now THAT was new.
The stranger was dressed in some kind of garment straight out of a fantasy novel, with bangles and tribal imprinting all over.
Her face was young and smooth and flawless with bright purple eyes.
she looked so sad and lonely, and lost. As lost as she SHOULd be feeling, but she felt just TOO tired!!!
Ok, time for medication. Fishing into her pocket, Yume felt her trusty stuffed herbs and dried grasses, but as she dove further into her tunic jacket..she couldn't find anything else!
No bottle of pill form stimulants to keep her narcolepsy from taking over.
Now THIS freaked her out!
She checked every pocket, every corner, every hem- and nothing! no sign of it. she looked around the corner to see if maybe she dropped it- but no.. it was gone!
' Oh Hell no!'
She almost forget there was another person beside her now, "oh- sorry.. umm, Hi." she gave a small little bow of her head for formalities, and introduced herself.
" I'm Yume Krospi, ...and...I have no idea where I am, or where this place is..and judging by how you don't seem too thrilled either..neither do you.. right?"

"Oh, hello," greety Luna quietly and politely. "And yes, I have no clue about this place as well."
She seems kinda nice. Thought Luna. She looked the other girl over a bit. She seemed a bit taller, long brown hair, brown eyes, and maybe a bit older...?
Plus she was human. Wow, not that many ususally pass by our village, she thought.
She noticed the woman was in an almost frantic state. "Umm, excuse me, but are you looking for something?" she asked. I know I am. She also noticed the other's sleepiness. "And you appear to be sleepy too."

"Heya Luna, ..guess we're in the same boat." Yume replied nervously, she was trying to keep upbeat, but it was hard, and her eyes kept shutting, and her stature was slumped and lethargic.
When Luna noticed how she was acting, Yume confessed, "Umm- I kinda lost something VERY important, and I need it. Soon. So yah... without it, I'm going to get even more tired, then I am right now."
Yume sounded actually more worried now-
what was she going to do without her medication? How long could she hold on, and keep herself from slipping into...that place.
Yume scanned the floor, and re-checked her pockets.

"Well, maybe I can help you find it?" Luna asked as she crept closer to Yume. She found someone that didn't pose a threat to her, so the least she can do is help out. Besides, Luna never really turned from a person in need, anyway.
"We can start by going through the place you last had it at," she suggested.

"Real- *yaaaaawwwwn*.. erm- Really?" Yume looked so grateful. Mostly cause if she was as sleepy as she felt, perhaps her sight wouldn't be as sharp and she was missing it all along. A fresh pair of eyes would be very much appreciated.
"Oh- thank you, thank you so much!" she grinned, looking into Luna's stunning purple eyes. They were very Pretty, and so inhuman. Somehow. Weird how she felt her eyes were more odd then her obvious pointed ears. Perhaps it was because her gaze held such gravity to it.
Like she was seeing right into you. Corny sounding- but true. That's how it felt.
Yume felt, transparent.
And so the search began, " Well.. I woke up in a room just down this hall here. I didn't bother looking around yet- maybe I dropped it in there."

"Great, then that's where we'll start!" Luna said, smiling. "You just lead the way, and we'll start our search." Luna stared closer at Yume. Her eyes seemed real droopy, like she was about to doze off at any minute.
"Maybe, I should carry you a bit along the way, should you doze off right on the spot," Luna smiled again. To her, if there was help to be needed, she was glad to offer it, sometimes whether that person liked it or not.

"wah? Carry me?! You're too kind, I'm so Fat fat faaaaat, I'll break you're pretty lil back." Yume insisted dramatically.
But she held onto the elf's arm gingerly, " Just..hold onto my arm or something, if I began to slump, just pinch me- really hard. Ok?"
Her comforting smile faded into a serious look,..." I..I mustn't fall asleep. Not matter what."
She could see the room in sight at the end of the hall, nothing had changed. But now that she was coming back to it, she noticed a funny color on the door.
It was a simple brick marker, which- when she looked around, she could similar markers on other doors, but some were different colors.
The one she emerged from, was Red.
"odd.. h-hey, did you come out of a room like that too?" she asked.
This whole place was crazy. Make like corridors, funny doors and padded rooms. Where they in some kinda hospital?
Was that it? Yah- maybe that was it, maybe she fell asleep and her parent finally admitted her.
Oh boy that made her depressed just thinking about it. Had they finally given up hope?

"Okay...but your not fat, Ms. ...Oh! I don't believe I ever caught your name!" Luna said, sounding surprised as Yume clung on to her arm. "But I promise to not let you fall asleep. No matter what!" she said, determined. "And by the way, I may not look it, but I'm nuch stronger than I appear, so you probably wouldn't be able to break my back even if you tried." she smiled.
As they walked along, Luna had to brush some of Yume's long hair from her face, but she the room Yume was referring to.
"Actually, yes, come to think of it, I did come out of a room like that. The only exception was that the door was green. Do have a hint as to what the colors mean? Probably not..." she said.

.Lake.   "Hey...hey! Where are you going, huh?!" Lake extended his hand as Kira shot off down the corridor, exasperated. He just couldn't keep ahold of the girl...she was always running off, running away.
Playing hard to get, I guess~
"Come on, you," he grumbled at Becca. "I think I'd be more worried if you were the one who kept running off...who the hell knows what kind of trouble you'd get into..."
He cast one last glance toward the spot that Kira seemed to have been getting so worked up over. If the damned corpse in the corner hadn't frightened her into running away, he couldn't imagine why...nothing...would.
He scratched his head. Women. He'd never understand them.
"Listen, kiddo, don't worry about it. Just try not to hang out in any burned rooms you come acro-,"
Lake's pupils contracted as the lights before them began to dim almost sequentially, the shadows seeping slowly toward them...slowly at first, anyway. Picking up speed...purposeful?
With a faint grunt, his hands began to shift, shaking as claws began to extend outward, sweatiing as veins began to stand out under his skin. He drew his lip back in a snarl, revealing fangs, and a feral growl lingered in his throat. Like Agro, he could sense some kind of impending danger.
"Come on," he rasped, tightening his hold on Becca's collar and hauling her after him as he took off behind Agro.
Do I lurk in the Darkness  or step into the light? Every battle has a story... ...But every story has an ending.
