"Thanks . . . wait, how'd you know where I crashed?!" C.J. asked as he looked at one of the guards. "Yeah, we've met . . . especially him . . . maybe him. Not sure about him." he said, pointing out a few of the guards.

Hades arched his brow at the man. "There's not much that goes past me inside my castle. Especially not when someone crashes through the walls of my castle."

"Sorry about that . . . hey, I know a friend of mine's a good roofer. I'll talk to him, see if he can give ya a discount or something." C.J. said with a smile and walked off. "Thanks for giving a damn!" he added as he left.

Well, surprisingly this went better than expected.

"Three souls?! Psssh this'll be easy. Let's go to I.O., pick off a few of those pricks and we'll be set!"

((Three souls HE wants here, nimrod.))

"Sheesh . . . this may take a little while."

Or, we can just take on some mooks.

((I like that idea.))

"Mooks, got it! Hey, what about what's his nuts? Fisk?"

We'll shoot him later! C'mon, let's get the hell outta here! . . . uh, no pun intended.

Acacia waited for CJ to step through the doors again, then went about leading him back up the large set of stairs.

Hades watched as the man left, then grinned a bit to himself as he turned back around in the seat.

"You're still not going to give him the woman, are you?" a female voice asked from a darkened corner.

"I never verbally agreed that I would. In fact I believe I stated numerous times that I wouldn't." Hades replied.

"That p***k. Writer, can I go shoot the lock off Hell? I kinda wanna see who would win in a fight, this chump or the Devil!"

SHH!! Pipe down, C.J. . . . if you and Arell wind up coming back, then we'll go blow the lock off. Hope Hades knows to expect company next time.

((Will you two idiots focus on ONE realm to mess up?! The reader's are probably going to get confused!))

"If they haven't gotten it by NOW, they never will!"

Give or take!

((*sigh* . . . Only point those two have are the ones on their HEADS . . .))

C.J. smirked as he went up the stairs. "Well, THAT went better than expected. Got the kids at least." he thought out loud with a shrug, shouldering the rifle as he went back up the stairs.

"Yes. The master is usually as lenient and understanding as he can be for certain situations." Acacia said, then glanced back to give CJ a sympathetic look. "Though... I should warn that it's better to get deals made in writing with the Master. There are certain things that he can do with verbal agreements that end in... shall we say loopholes." she said. She turned her focus back onto walking up the steps. "Though I'm surprised you did not ask to see the children."

C.J. looked at her with a look. "He does ANYTHING to them, and I WILL come back." he said with a determined look. "With friends." he added as he kept walking up. He knew he should have seen them, but he knew that they had to get out of there as fast as possible.

Acacia gave him a small smile. ”Oh, don't worry about that. The children will not be in the Master's care. They will be here until he has finished his meeting with Lachesis, then she will be taking them home with her. The realm of the Fates is considerably harder to get to compared to the Underworld's current location. And the Fate of Life should have little trouble caring for infants.” Acacia replied.

C.J. looked at her. "Do you mind if I see them before I leave? I'd rather not deal with HIM more than I have to." he said, referring to Hades . . . C.J. did NOT trust that guy.

"Lemme put it this way, the only reason I HAVE to is 'cause the kids . . . And Misty. However, I think going this way'll work with the plot. Got a feeling I'll be coming back!"

Oh! Should we bring Arell? I kinda see him pulling something INSANE right now with that new Bounty Hunter lot!

((Now THAT I'd pay good money to see. Wait, are you two NUTS?! He'd try to storm Hell with nothing by leftover weapons from a Surplus store!!))

"And that's unusual compared to what he's done BEFORE . . . ?"

Pssh, if we get HIM down here, we got leverage!

*riding in a prop tank, imitating Arell* "A'right, listen heah, ********! Let mah buddy's girlfrien' and kids go 'fore I blow ALL y'all assholes t' Kingdom Come!!"

((That'd be fun! Ineffective but fun!))

True dat.

But anyways, C.J. walked along thinking about what he was going to say to Misty . . . he had let her down in protecting her from Deathstrike and Fisk . . . lord knows he was going to have to figure out what he can do to fix this . . . IF he could fix this.

"Of course." Acacia replied as she continued up the steps. "It should take Latchesis a while to finish meeting with the Master. Lets get your keys and I'll take you to where the children are being watched." There wasn't much farther now. They were almost to the top of the stairs, and the office was rather hard to miss once there.

The guards were all still stationed at their posts. None of whom looked very pleased to see the man still roaming about.

C.J. smiled a little bit. "That'd be great, please. Would be nice to see who I'm playing stepdad for." he said, looking at the thought. Wow . . . being a stepdad was going to be one HELL of an experience. He wasn't even an ACTUAL dad before!

"So they actually know I'm on my way OUT, right?" he asked, referring to the guard that just shot him a scowl.

Acacia smiled a bit. "I'm sure they're aware that you're being well watched. But you DID arrive in a rather unorthodox fashion. Some of them are a bit old fashioned... and breaking your way into here as you did... along with walking with only me... probably not settling too well with them. But they will not attack unless you do something or they are told to act." she replied.

Once they were at the office door, Acacia opened the large doors so that CJ could go inside and find his keys. The guards keeping careful watch to make sure that was all he did.

C.J. smirked. "I always kinda imagined Hell being in a big city, kinda surprised that turned out to be true . . . at least for right now anyways." he said as he walked in, finding his keys in the wreckage. It was an odd sort of thing, a large keyring that was attached to a Baltimore Orioles lanyard. Grabbing it, he checked to see if everything was there, flipping through the keys and keychains fast.

"That should be everything! Let's go see the kids and get outta here." he drawled as he looked at one of the guards in particular. He got rather close for C.J.'s comfort. Like looming over his shoulder close.

"Woah, buddy. Either personal bubble or cut back on the garlic, mi amigo." he said as he walked back over to Acacia.

The guard sneered at CJ, but took a step back as he had asked. Acacia smiled and motioned towards the door. "This way then. I wish I could say that the area is less guarded than the office, but... I'm sure you can imagine what security would be like around rooms intruders are not meant to be in." she said.

When CJ moved into the hallway with her, she began leading him down another hall. Then to another set of stairs. Upwards this time. Into the tower. "You know... you've only been here for a few minutes, and this is the most amusement I've seen in quite some years. Are you sure you don't want to stay? Despite being located in Hell right now, the Underworld is really not like that. You could live comfortably for all eternity down here. Or until you desire to be reincarnated later on."

C.J. smirked as he got the sneer from the guard. "That's fine. Y'all got a big area down here. I'm just a visitor." he said as he walked with her out of the room and up the tower.

"I'd take ya up on it, but I ain't fixing to die quite yet, y'know? Maybe one day when I ain't becoming a splatter on the ground." he said with a smirk as he walked up the tower with her.
