Tao leapt off the bed then circled around Maria, and then pounced on Alex's lap. He purred quietly, his feline grin turning into a content smile.
"Alright.",she said quietly. Dorthy entered the cottage and walked over to the couch, limping slightly still, but nothing to terrible.

Alex smiled and start to pet Tao's head.
Rabbit walked into the bathroom and pulled some bandages from a cabinet, and went into the living room, "Hold the leg up with the hurt ankle." he said softly.

I'm better than icecream.Maria waited excitedly for another riddle, still smiling at Tao while Patches was silently sulking.  Even then, I still lost to icecream. You

"When is a croquet mallet like a billy club?",he spoke, purring as Alex stroked his head easily. Alex may know this one, if her mother had said enough of his quotes.
Dorthy held out her bad ankle obediently. She still felt bad for causing him so much trouble. "Thanks, Again. . .for your kindness.",she said smiling.

Alex thought for second remembering her mother telling her this one, "Whenever you want it to be?" she asked softly, not sure if it was right or not.
"Your welcome." Rabbit said softly as he started to wrap Dorthy ankle with the bandages.

"Oh! I do love a smart girl!",Tao said in a happy voice, his purr deepening as he nuzzled against Alex's hand. "Yes, because we may not have a billy club on us at the time we are playing croquet!"
Dorthy just watched as Rabbit wrapped her ankle up, and when he finished she put her foot back down.

"Oh yes, it's quite something to agree upon Miss Maria my Queen!",he said looking up at the Red Queen. "For agreeing upon a statement can only be agreed by someone who thinks that statement is true, therefore it's a statement that should be agreed!",he said rambling again, probably not making much sense at all. Tao chuckled, remembering a chat he had with Alice's mother. "Oh that was a true funny conversation, though if I do say so myself your mother was not pleased with me.",he said now resting his chin on her knee. " 'Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?',she had asked me. Oh please, if you ask me something be more specific!",he started to ramble, chuckling ever so slightly. "Where was she going to go? 'Somewhere', she stated. Fah! Keep walking and surely you'll get somewhere."
Dorthy just shrugged, what was there to do? Drink Tea, Sleep, Walk. . .generally that was her routine. Of course she had the occasional sleep over, which fit right in with sleep. But then there were parties that she'd attend, like the dance tomorrow. "Ah, is there anything you'd be doing right now?",she asked. There probably wasn't anything he had in mind, hence him being always so busy.

Alex smiled, "Sounds like my mother, always not going into detail, she is very annoying sometimes." she sighed, "She was part of the reason why I was in the forest when Rbbit came."
Rabbit thought for awhile, "Not really, whatever your up to was what I was going to do." he said softly.

Maria stated, a somewhat saddened look on her face as she said this. An extremely weak spot with Maria would be the lament she held that she had a mother like her own instead of a mother who loved her. Tao would not stand for such a sad atmosphere! He simply leapt from Alex's lap and morphed into his 'human' form. " "52 pickup is a staple of juvenile humor, but when the deck slices and dices, it's no laughing matter.",he quoted, hoping they caught his worry. "So let us speak of less dreary thoughts. Ah, queen! Was there anything you were planning on doing this afternoon?",he said trying to avoid the depressing mother subject.
Dorthy sighed, her tail dropping to the side. "I'm sorry.",she said. Again, for the millionth time. Dorthy thought of herself as a naturally boring person.

Alex stood up, he foot had fallen asleep and she didn't want the other one to.
