Artemis shook her head. " Yes but you shouldn't have to put up with him for long as I can usually tell when he's around and being flirty. More than likely he will mess with one of you to get my attention."

Jasmine looked over at Delilah and her goat friend. "Somebody found his new mommy." She laughed. "I can't believe he followed us this far."

Athena looked over at Artemis. "Perhaps that's the reason Zeus wanted them alive. He never could resist a pretty face, which I think is partly the reason he married Hera. Ick. I doubt he was feeling compassionate. A few mortals, albeit strange ones, wouldn't case him to lose any sleep." The goat bleated again, which in turn annoyed Bubo who hooted angrily. "Bubo! Stop that!"

"I bet Mary didn't have a problem like this with her lamb, Sage." Delilah said. "Please, is there anything that you might be able to do, Artemis, to stop this goat being so clingy?" she asked, picking up the goat with her hands and placing it in front of the goddess.

Artemis rolled her eyes. " Scolding him isn't going to help." She took the owl from Athena. " If you can't get along with the goat then just go fly around outside until Athena calls for you again. As for Zeus marrying Hera I think it was partially that and partially that she didn't say yes to him instantly."

Athena watched as Bubo actually obeyed Artemis. "Thanks. I don't know why he dislikes the goat. Maybe he's used to two horns only..." She looked at the four-horned goat. "Eh, maybe. Anyway, I'm suprised Hera's still staying with him. I mean, half of us are her stepchildren." Thinking for a moment, she looked at the heroes. "Wait, Olympian gossip, nevermind. What were we here for again?"

Artemis grinned at her older sister. " She doesn't leave him because she doesn't want to give up her power as Queen of the gods. As for why we're here it's to meet the foreigners, satisfy our curiosity and drive Ares mad."

Suddenly Delilah had an idea. "I'm going to change him into something else." She didn't add the fact that she was going to change the goat into something less able to get under her feet. Delilah then said, "If that's alright with you goddesses."

Artemis shrugged. " It's fine with me. Just don't turn him into a cat is my suggestion. I have my hunting hounds nearby and they would love to chase a cat."

Concentrating on the goat, Delilah started to change the goat's head into that of a slightly monkeyish one and began to work her way down the goat's body, first the shoulders and forelegs into almost monkeyish hands and had started transforming the torso when she was interrupted by the sudden barking of dogs, causing her to lose focus and stop the metamorphosis. "Argh!" Delilah cursed, the goat looking like a monkey satyr hybrid. It started to walk about almost ungainly on its hindlegs, before half of its fur fell off. "Well that wasn't supposed to happen."
The creature echoed, "Supposed to happen."

The monkey-satyr cross looked like a bald version of the smiling cherubic fauns that often were found in really old museums. Its four horns were still visible, but appeared to be smaller. If you were to put a tunic over the 'faun', it might pass as a very hairy short child. Delilah held out a hand to the 'faun' and watched as it tried to hobble-trot over to her hand. It was like watching a toddler taking its first steps, clumsy but with a sense of purpose. On finding herself unable to change the lower half of the 'faun', Delilah frowned. Was there a sort of block stopping her?
Thinking on that idea, Delilah thought of changing the creature's upper half into something more 'human-looking' as the creature definately would freak out any passerby. The 'faun' started to grow hair on his head, before long, the 'faun' did look almost human. Except for its legs and a little tail out of his spine. "Well that's a pickle." Delilah said, "I can't seem to change the other half of him."
"Pickle! Pickle!" the 'faun' copied.

Athena rolled her eyes. "He's used to flying away. Probably just going to find a large tree and start squawking at them."

Jasmine stared at the creature. "Er, he might be able to pass for a little satyr if...people don't look too closely. And, look, he can talk! It might be a little more suspicious if he kept bleating." The four horns didn't stand out as much, the top half did look somewhat human, and the hair on his head gave him the appearance of a small child.
