Deuce growled darkly at the people around the ring as more began to leave. His temper rose as he discreetly yanked his hand back and the shadows moved with him. Several people fell to the ground before scrambling away quickly. As the pup yelped he looked back to her and smiled softly his eyes changing back. " That's okay pup, I'll carry you try not to move." He gently scooped the pup into his arms and nodded to his sister. " Cass she's safe grab the other kid and lets go."
Cassie snarled at the pit bull and it backed away with a whine and ran to it's owner who high tailed it out of there. With a dark glare she stood and scooped the other pup up. " You'll be okay hun. Just let us get you out of here." Her body was trembling still as she followed her brother out of the building and back onto the streets. Her low growl was enough to make sure that no one got in their way as they made their way back to the forest. Cassie walked up by her brother and her eyes softened as she looked at the two wolves in their arms. " Shadow, hun you're gonna be okay, we've got you. You too buddy, nothing else will hurt you."

After Cassie and Deuce went into the city, Tsukiya went right behind without thought. While he was following, he got seperated temporarily. When he caught up, he saw the twins in human form. Intruiged by this, he decided to say nothing until they were out of the human city. He asked , "Hey, Deuce, need any help getting Shadow out of here. The sooner the better!"

Shadow let Deuce scoop her up, grateful to be getting out of there and that she did not have to walk. She turned her head to look a Cassie as she reassured her that she would be fine. Then she remembered, "Bongo!" she twisted in Deuce's arms to look behind them. She was sure that she had smelled his scent somewhere in there. If he was with those awful humans... She did not want to think about it.

Cassie sighed softly as they melted into the woods once more. She didn't place the pup on the ground yet though. Once she was in the woods her anger returned and she gritted her teeth as she stalked back to the others. With a gentle touch she set the pup down and smiled softly. "Stay right here kay?" With a dark glare and a snarl she turned to the assembled wolves. " Who is responsible for letting Shadow run off? "
Deuce shook his head " Nah I got'er we're outa that hell hole anyway." he tightened his grip barely to keep the pup in his arms as she twisted to look back at the city. " Easy kid. You're not allowed any where near that place for a long time. " He winced and sighed as he watched his sister fume. With the same gentleness as Cassie he set Shadow on the ground and pat her head. " You did good kid, now sit tight and rest." He stood and paced to his sisters side. " Cass..." he warned softly placing a calming hand on his sisters shoulder.
Cassie growled brushing his hand off of her as she turned her glare on her brother. " Don't Cass me Duece I want to know who the hell made that pup run into a city like that! You know as well as I did what could have happened, what would have happened if we hadn't of showed up! That pit was trained to kill and he wouldn't have thought twice about them being pups!" Her voice was cold and sharp as she spoke, before once more turning back to the group. " Now WHO was the cause of this!?"

Shadow watched in slight fear as Cassie growled about the pack looking for the one who scared her off. She made sure not to put weight on her paw when Deuce set her down. She did not want Nasumi getting in trouble because of her. "No one chased me off... I just... I got startled and... It's no one Else's fault, so please don't be angry." Shadow whined at Cassie.

Cassie's eyes softened as she spun to look at the pup. With a smile she knelt in front of her " That may be dear but something startled you, and I'm quiet sure you were with someone, which means you were they're responsibility. In a pack order must be kept and rules enforced. Punishments must be dealt and peace restored. The youngest of the pack are to be protected and nurtured until they prove they can be on they're own." She patted the pup softly with a smile. " And I'm not angry, I'm upset that you got hurt. It wasn't necessary and could have been avoided." She stood and her eyes darkened but not quiet to the degree they had been. " Now once more, who was watching her?"
Deuce sighed and let his body transform into his wolf form. With a yawn and growl he stretched his long body out. Sitting back on his haunches he watched his sister. " Cass, maybe you should drop it. The pups safe, and nothing too bad happened. " Deuce spoke trying to defuse the situation. Truth be told Deuce wanted nothing more that to jump the wolf responsible for the pups injury but he was thinking of how his old pack would have handled it. His old pack was traditional, and strict, with the alphas holding a tight reign over the others. Punishment was swift and normally bloody but nothing life threatening.

Io let the woman take him into the forest without complaint. He was just happy to be out of there. When he was set down, he sat quietly, watching the lady yell at the wolves around her. At first he thought her crazy, but when he saw her twin turn into a wolf, he figured so would she. Io got up and walked to the male who had carried the small dark pup here, "Hey, thanks for getting us out of there, um, is she okay?" he nodded to Cassie.

Miazi followed Shadow onto the road and into the city. Fear of where she was caused her to panic and she ran from the group in a random direction which just so happened to be deeper into the human city. She ran down a dark and abandoned ally and sat down. She turned to her human form and sat there with her back against the wall and her legs tucked against her chest. She shivered in fear.

Tsukiya was going back with Cassie, Deuce, Shadow, and the new wolf they found when he noticed Miazi in a corner in a human form, huddled and shivering with fear. He decided he had to know what was going on. He went up to her and said, "Okay, there is something more than what you told me that night. What's going on? Why are you so fearful, and what is with the night terrors?" Tsukiya waited for an answer

Miazi jumped and looked up at him with fear filled blue eyes. "T-This is the c-c-c-city I ra-ran away from," she said. She curled up into an even tighter ball.

Tsukiya was taken aback. This was the area where he was chased out of, the forest in the area developed into an extension of the city. He asked. "About how many years ago were you chased out?"

Miazi looked up at him. "I-I think a year or two today," she said. She licked her dry lips. "I wasn't chased out. I ran away. I was tired of being treated like a dog," she said.

Tsukiya remembered. "Was there an increasing dislike and eventual detestment of wolves and those who supported, protected, and associated with the wolves?" Tsukiya inquired this because it fit the timeframe of when his pack was killed and chased off by humans in the city right next to this one

Shadow looked over at the other pup talking to Deuce and decided she would have to talk to him later and find out if he knew anything about Bongo. She then stood and, making sure not to put any weight on her paw and shoulder, she limped over to Cassey and nudged her forearm with her nose. She looked up tiredly and asked, "Can we just leave it be for right now? I'd rather not get her in trouble, cause it was my own fault." The day's events caught up with her suddenly and she collapsed to the ground with a 'huff'. She was not badly injured, but more exhausted from the day's stress.

Miazi looked uneasy, she didn't like to bring up her past. "I don't know. My family always hated me when they found out I was a shape shifter," she said. She looked down at her bare feet.
