Kageko flinched at that one word, "hate," especially since it was directed towards her. "What makes you wonder that?" the girl asked, wording her sentence carefully. Her preoccupation with that single word caused Hiru's grin to fail at causing any kind of reaction from Kageko. Ever since she had found out about what she held within her body, Kageko had been careful to control the negative emotions she felt. She had seen her brother use the cursed seal and had felt the menacing aura he emitted and she didn't like it one bit. From what she knew about demons, it wouldn't be surprising if her demon chakra gave off that kind of feeling as well, a feeling that she would rather not give off. Therefore, she just needed to not go demon or even get close to her demon unless it was absolutely necessary. To do that, it would be best if she suppressed and shied away from her negative emotions. If Hiruzen thought that she hated him, then was it possible that she had actually something so bad to her friend? It was bad enough to act that badly to a friend, even worse with the other things that Kageko worried about.

(OOC: I... don't know.... Hey! Since when is Kageko angsty scream ?!)

Now it was Kageko's turn to look at her friend with confusion as his voice seemed to become lower. Putting her hand to his head, the girl asked, "Are you getting a cold?". She noted just then her over-serious manner. "Or maybe," she smiled mischievously as she switched gears, "Hiru-chan is going through puberty?". Kageko sang the last word of her question. Personally, it was kind of fun to mess with people going through puberty. At least, from her experience with her older brother it was. Either way, the depressing mood was starting to suffocate her a bit and she needed to lift it up a bit. She didn't like to leave things hanging as they were, but she'd get back to it once they were on a happier note.

"Mhm, mhm," Kageko nodded her head as she finally started eating her ramen, slurping them up in her usual manner: extremely fast while maintaining normality. Her expression made it obvious that she was didn't quite believe in what her friend had said. Or maybe it was just a false expression and she was just teasing him? At least, that's what the smile could have meant as well.

"Yeah, it's a good thing for me," Kageko continued to tease, pointing her chopsticks towards Hiruzen as she finished slurping up the last of her noodles, "especially when you get drunk off of the sake. It's hilarious to prank people then, and even before you're allowed to get drunk on sake it's hilarious to infuriate teenagers with their raging hormones and all." Continuing to smirk, Kageko raised her bowl to her lip and began drinking the soup that was left in the bowl.

Kageko kept the calm smirk even as she freaked out over what her friend as said. "That's perfect as well, Hiru-chan," the girl flawlessly came up with a reply, "I get to pound any pervert who tries to touch me."

"True," Kageko responded with a nod, her act perfected in every aspect by now, "but not many people act perverted towards me at the moment. I'll be able to pound a lot more people once I mature."

"Eheh, loli is good, too. A lot easier to fool people," Kageko laughed, showing that she was enjoying this random chat while waiting for Kage just as much as Hiru was.

Kageko turned her flinch into a wink with absolutely no suggestion of the former. "A kunoichi must also be an actress," the girl responded as she put a finger to her lips right as she winked, "That's how they make up for not being as strong, physically, as their male counterparts. As much as I hate to admit it, men do tend to be stronger than women." She blinked and then had both eyes open once again once she was finished with the last sentence.
