"We thought you were dead, Syd, though I admit, the only reasons why I have not yet left is because I was unconcious when you came onto the battlefield." His smile slowly disappearing, he first looked at Grathrym, as if expecting an interjection to what he was going to say next before looking to Syd with a simple question. "What happened, Syd?"

Her grin vanished as Alastor explained that they had thought she was dead when they couldn't find her after the attack had ended. Syd looked down at the ground. "Oh... I guess I should have left a note or something, hunh?" she stated, a slight grin returned to her lips as she tried to make a joke to lighten the mood. However, it seemed to fail given that Alastor's next question was about what happened. Her grin disappated slightly, but did not vanish. "What do 'ya mean?" she asked. She thought he was asking about what happened to end the battle or why she had decided to go with Noktal.

The joke fell on deaf ears as he looked to her with his one eye. When she answered him with her own question, he shook his head. "Why here? Why did you come here during the battle? Did you see the satchel as Indrid and I did, or were you invited personally?"

"If I may interject. It was by Noktal's own invitation that she came here. And she followed. However she is welcomed here. As are you. I just hope that you know why we did what we did. I did not kill you all. I simply made an example of whatever we did, the Celestials would do in much larger quantities. I must ask, what is your standing to us now?"

That was when Syd turned to look away. When she heard Alastor explain that he was asking why she came here. That was why she had looked away. She didn't answer for about a minute or two. When she did, Sydney didn't look up at Alastor again and her voice was rather quiet. "I was... invited..." she finally to confirm Grathrym's statement, and nodding her head once in Noktal's direction. Though, the way she said the word invite implied she had been threatened too, which was entirely true. "I was protecting everyone else..." she added.

As he received both Grathrym and Syd's answers, he sighed heavily as the question came to him. His eye closed as he thought to himself, his thoughts carefully spoken allowed. "In truth...I do not know...Aside from the attack, an angel came to heal and warn us, especially the Cambion as he felt kin to them, something that is not often shown by any of our own races. Even demons despise us Nephilim, and yet you are opening the doorway for us to join you in defense of the entire life of the worlds." His eye opening, he growled lowly. "I was forced to see the very thing I never wanted, a reality that may never leave us until the day we all die."
As his head rose, he spoke softly, his eye no longer showing anger. No, the anger had left him a while ago. He now felt remorse as he knew, to some extent, the truth. Light and dark were real, but good and evil...those were the assets that set an individual apart. "Lord Grathrym, I request 24 hours to seek council with my fellow members of the Regiment. If the majority agrees or feels even close to the same as what you say may come to pass, we can then agree to at least an alliance."

Vandors body went stiff again and he went back to normal. "Good to know some of you will take the time to listen."
Indrid used the wind to push the bodies away from him, a few accidentally going into the portal. He shrugged. Too angry to care. He turned back at the castle. He gritted his teeth and summoned a ball of fire. It wouldn't do any damage but he didn't care. He was angry. He flung the ball at the castle and stepped back into the cold area of the Regiment.

"Your request is more then agreeable. If you wish you may take more time. You may stay here for as long as you wish. I wish that you feel welcomed here. And my wish will be what happens. Now as well, when you wish to leave you will be escorted by some of my demons if you wish. This is only precautionary to keep you safe of course."

"Thank you, however, I only request Syd to escort me to the portal. She is part of those I wish to council with." His face never changed as he spoke those words, somewhat grateful for the timeframe as he looked to Syd, his eye conveying a form of sadness in place of anger.

Sydney fell silent as Grathrym and Alastor began speaking to each other once again. She hadn't noticed Vandor until he said something. She blinked, glanced at the other demon and then looked down at her feet. Her eyes drifted over to looked at the hilt of her katana. They stayed there as her thoughts drifted away to somewhere.
However, her attention returned to reality as her name was mentioned more than once. She looked up at Alastor and glanced at Grathrym. She had no idea what was going on at all.

((Writers block. Plus I'm a little lost...))
J'valia watched Indrid as he walked by, and nodded back. She looked between him and the demon base, and then stayed seated, waiting for Alastor.

Ann whispered to Bagarth, the teasing smile was heard, rather than seen, "How droll." She spread out her wings and took off from Bagarth's shoulder, landing on a chair. Her poise was rather human, despite her bird form. "What bewildering visitors."

Yet, we're all the same in some way, Bagarth thought when she heard Ann's whisper and smiled. The only question was who had the bigger ego. Whatever the case, the Nephilim that had charged past them earlier certainly had a lack of manners in his distraught mood.
They were at Grath's meeting room, unannounced. It seemed that there was another Nephilim in the room... along with the Cambion, Vandor, Noktal and ... a human female that could only be Noktal's toy/wife. Bagarth wasn't that familiar with Noktal's wife. They had never really officially met.
Anyhow, Grath and the Nephilim were speaking. Something about making a decision before a council and being escorted to the portal. Speaking of which, Bagarth felt another presence in the area, weak but different enough to be noticeable from everyone present.
((Is the portal close to the fortress?))

(No I time skipped.)
Vandor walked passed Syd and Alastor and looked out the window. A fireball came hurtling toward him and crashed next to him, doing nothing at all, but it was a warning. "Be careful around him, Grathrym."

With the unfurling of lace and ribbon, Antoinetta had switched back to her demonic form. She sat poised on the chair, her hand folded neatly in her lap. Lifting her head, Ann gave Bagarth a cheerful smile before she resumed her doll-like poise. Ann looked at the visitors of the room curiously, trying to pick up on what she had missed. However, she did not move and could have been inanimate even if it wasn't for the occasional flutter of her eyelids.
