'If you say so, Master.' The blonde agreed, herself more mystified by his quest to make her understand creatures like them. After another pause Sparrow gave a small yawn, the day's events leaving her tireder than she cared to acknowledge.

The day has been long... and strange. ... We may rest here, if you like. We should be safe... so long as MK does not appear.

'Yes, Master.' Sparrow tiredly acknowledged, dimly aware that MK appearing would be a much disliked event indeed. After another yawn or two, the clone disengaged from his arm, curling up at his side instead. The impossible to ignore twinkling of the magical circle was the last that the clone saw before her eyes slowly closed.

*The dragon smiled and gave her a warm pat on the arm, letting himself fall over backward to close his own eyes and drift off to a safe slumber*

The clone stirred, groggily sitting up and brushing a few blonde strands out of her eyes. She squinted up at the magic circle, rubbing one of her eyes before leaning back on her palms. Sparrow looked over her shoulder at her master, wondering where they would find the next humans she would have to try and assimilate into her behavior.

*Koth woke up shortly after, feeling the eyes of his minion upon him. Sitting up he looked into the magic, then to Sparrow*
Is it breakfast yet...?

'I'll go hunt.' Sparrow said, standing and beginning to stride past the circle and out toward the forests.

*Getting to his feet, Koth passed his hand side to side through the magic pillar, chuckling to himself and kneeling in to inspect the circle itself. Touching his palm to a strange symbol, he was blasted backwards into the air by a sudden burst of energy. a field of LGHT surrounded the pillar immediately, and the light changed from red to blue. Koth hit the ground hard, caught completely unaware by the ******** me... That hurt.

'Master!' Sparrow broke into a run back toward the fallen dragon and immediately pumping a wave of DRKNRGY through him when she set her hand against his arm. She looked over her shoulder at the changing magic tower, eyes narrowing slightly.

Sparrow's body had taken to crackling warningly. She helped to support her master without complaint.
'I don't know.' She said, eyes fixed on the spire.

*The LGHT barrier begin to let down, and the aura was replaced by a chill winter breeze. Snowflakes began to fall over the Lost City, and the ground surrounding the circle froze over.*
No... NO. NO! ... Of all the damned uses... NO!!
*Koth staggered back, creating fair distance between himself and the spire. DRK formed furiously around his tight fists, the dragon gritting his teeth and waiting for what was to come*

'...' Sparrow felt something familiar in all of this, but she couldn't quite place it. She stayed ahead of her master, staring down at the creeping ice, transfixed for a moment before turning her attention back to the pillar. The clone thrust a hand out, a thin but long band of DRKNRGY creating a barrier between them and whatever the threat her master detected was.

*The pillar condensed into a dense sphere roughly the size of the circle beneath it. In a blast similar to the one that knocked Koth back, it was gone, and the lost self-proclaimed queen of ice stood in its place, all of the magic absorbed into her being, leaving the plateau silent once more*

The clone had shielded her eyes, hissing before finally lowering her hand. Catching her first glimpse of the woman through the translucent indigo barrier, she frowned. Why did she ring a bell?
Definitely perceiving the threat, she manipulated the NRGY that had been keeping a barrier between them, sending it barreling toward the witch instead.
