"Alright, we're leaving." those were his last words before walking past the gates of the village. For the sake of keeping the least of peace during their trip, Hibari ignored Asuka's words. He had never been to Konoha before but while he was in the academy, he had studied some maps that had routes to other villages. He knew what road he should take to arrive there without getting lost. Once outside the village, they'd be headed to the mountain pass.

"Ah!" Haruka was surprised that Hibari didn't express any response towards their words. 'At least it seems that he is also trying to keep things calm...' she thought and walked after him, past the gates. She headed with him to the entrance of the mountain pass. At that time, Haruka remembered one thing, she was not carrying anything other than the basics. She just had a few things that she always keeps with her. 'All I have is a small first aid kit...and a few supplies...' her equipment worried her. 'I hope I won't become a nuisance...' she thought while following their leader.

Sora rocked from side to side as she hummed a little folk song that she had sung quite a bit in the days before she entered the academy. As Haruka and Hibari left, the girl stayed in place, politely keeping an eye on the client. She would leave only after Asuka did. It wasn't right for the entire group to simply leave the person they were supposed to protect behind. If anything, the person should be somewhere in the middle. Since both Haruka and Hibari had already left, that meant Sora would need to wait for the Aburame to go ahead of her. Not that the girl minded of course, she was just making a conscious effort to think through things.

Asuka had waited a bit before leaving just to see how they would handle it. Hibari and Haruka continued a ways while Sora remained behind. Asuka would wind up in the middle whether she liked it or not. Of course, that was the whole point of bodyguards. Resisting the temptation to see just how far ahead Hibari would go before stopping, Asuka set out to follow.

Sora followed after Asuka, still humming a bit as she nodded her head in time to the tune. The girl made sure to stay out of the client's personal bubble but also not so far away that she wouldn't be able to help her in time should the need arise.

Ken Raite - Genin -- Raiton -- Raikou Hira -- Kumogakure no Sato -- Modified mechanical left leg. - Having heard news of the pending Chuunin exams, Ken made sure his gear was in order outside the gate. He had his katana, a pack of basic supplies, and a small maintenance kit for his leg, among other things. Once he was entirely sure he was ready, the young Genin sat down on a bench near the gates. He wasn't allowed out at his current rank, so he had to wait for somebody, anybody to arrive as an escort to get him to the village. [Type: Speed Ninja (2 Jutsu per post, can move, dodge, and attack as fast as one one rank higher than they are) Chakra Points: 31/31 (carrying 5 chakara pills)]

Ken heard some footsteps and looked up from the small black notebook he'd been studying from. Combat techniques, notes about the few jutsu he knew...he had to win this. If he didn't make it to chuunin, he was going to be quite disappointed.
At 20, he was likely the oldest Genin in the village, and he wasn't going to stand for it.
He saw the figure following after a blue jay. "Hello." he said pleasantly.

Ken nodded. He stood up and checked to make sure all his gear was in place. He made sure he had his passport, his clothes, money, and other supplies, as well as his katana at his side. There was a hiss as the piston in his leg released some pent up pressure, and he slung the bag over his back.
"What's with the bird?" he asked as they moved to the gate.
