Of all the damn times, so close to getting those documents back and now they had another man grab them! Sypher was still laying on the man's leg after being slammed into on his back, it hurt but not enough to stop him from forcing his body up. "The way Zaku is looking at that man...did he already fight him?" Getting off the man's legs, letting his teammates keep him down. "Zaku, do you think you can bring this man back to konoha? He's just a thief, but...maybe Zin could give him a worse punishment than death." It was true, death was too merciful for this man, and Zin the hokage would love a prisoner. "It's better than coming back empty handed with our sensei..." He shuddered, Zin creeped him out so might as well give him something else to throw stuff at if they couldn't get the documents. "Cryshal, help me get the documents from him!" He looked back to Aki, waiting for Cryshal to make the move toward the enemy first.

Cryshal Fuero
{Assassin} --- {konohagakure} --- {Genin}

Cryshal stands up astonished at the accomplishment that she and her teammates had done. After, of course, the egotistic man had went down the kid that was to be dead, or was dead when she left at least, now had control of the document scroll. She looked over to Sypher who was now asking for assistance, after she was told what she needed to hear she was getting ready to be on her way. Enraged at the sight of the boy she picks up her kunai knives and puts them away. "I will gladly help you get those scrolls back." Cryshal then drew two senbon needles and attempted to throw them at the boys back. Just in case the ranged attack had failed she began to run behind the senbon and was running at full speed toward the shinobi. She then attempted to sweep his legs from underneath him.

Zaku Akatori - Genin - Assassin - Chakra 25/25

As Cryshal went in for an attack, Zaku moved towards the man with the overbearing ego. He had no way of really tieing the man up, so he planned to twist his arms behind his back, and sit on him to keep him on the ground.

Watching Aki, he remembered that he can play dead with some sort of genjutsu. "Cryshal, he already tricked us once with his genjutsu, he may know more. Be careful."

User Image Aki stopped, flinching slightly as two pinpricks embedded themselves in his back. With a sigh, the man turned around, hopping slightly in order to avoid the kick sent his way. Turning so that he could see everyone at once, the boy shook his head, reaching over his shoulder to pull out the needles. "Now, see, this is what I mean. First ya murder me in cold blood, and now you're stabbing me in the back. What on earth did I ever do to you?" the boy exclaimed, hands in the air in apparent frustration.

Feel bad about such a tiny post... Don't want to pump a ridiculous amount of action into what would be the space of a few seconds though, so, yeah.

@Adal: In future, please refrain from double posting. If I'd chosen to take a second post before my turn came around again, just think how that would have worked out for you guys.

In addition to that, Greg still has a post before the next round begins. He's not out yet. Especially since you all conveniently forgot to do anything to keep him down. He can basically do whatever he wants in his next post. XD

"Well, finally that kid is good for something."

His head was spinning some from the impact with the ground, but the Mysterious Man had seen the child, the one who had been notably absent until now, grab the documents from the air. The man almost felt grateful, until the arrogant child had the nerve to chastise him. Him! The superior! Who had fought three against one while the brat sat in the trees, waiting to strike at an opportune moment. At the very least, it provided ample distraction to ensure that he could get up without the fear of being bound.

Or so he thought. As he began to get up, the male of the group walked toward him, seemingly in an effort to prevent him from getting up. As the boy stopped to warn his companion one last time, the man leapt off the ground into a defensive combat position: turned to the side, left arm forward, right arm poised behind him to strike should the boy come near, knees bent. His positioning was flawless, but his face gave him away- after all, propelling yourself from the ground to land feet first, so soon after hitting one's head, was never good for balance. He gritted his teeth to ward off orthostatic hypotension, but he would need a minute to regain his mental clarity to fight. Unfortunately, he didn't have a minute, the child was upon him already. Sure, he could just dodge away, but that wouldn't solve any of his problems, only prolong his soon-to-be throbbing headache. Hopefully that brat would dispatch of the women with one of those genjutsu he had been going on about quick enough to regroup with him. For now, the mysterious man held his position, stared the boy down, and pondered how much of his Redken shampoo he would have to use to restore his hair to it's brilliant sheen prior to being dirtied.

(Orthostatic Hypotension is that dizzy feeling you get when you stand up too fast, for reference)

Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu

If there was any tweeting birds, hooting owls, or movement of other creatures within the forest, like a scary movie they would all fall silent. Or rather, the birds would take flight and fly away from the area as if hell itself was coming; something that isn't too far from the truth. For moments after the birds took flight would a sound that would make hearts drop to the pits of their stomachs when heard. A beastial roar cracked through the night air and trembled the natural residences of the Fire Country's forest. It was that time again that those that have not been laid to rest would once more take to walking the streets and bring any living thing to suffer as they do; and though the progression of the undead was rather far, the trembles would steadily get stronger as the roars became more fierce and multiple.

Zin continued to cutely bob his head in-sync with Nagi and Hitan while humming a catchy little ditty!. Happily watching as a few people that had the unfortunate timing of walking the path back to or from Konoha be pounced by the Rage Virus Victims and giggled as the screams mixed with the might roars of the Tanks. Flesh being ripped apart and thrown to the side. They wwere so influenced by the virus they merely wanted to make beat the victim as they feed little. Making Zin giggle all the more like a tyke watching his favorite cartoon. Slowly "Zin's Parade" would march. Picking off all living things that came within the undead's line of sight. "Make sure you pick the bones clean! I do not want anyone to say that Konoha does not keep it's borders clean."Zin said giggling and keeping an eye, or rather with his two serpents, eyes out for his shinobi. He had much to speak to them about.

Ash yawned lazily from his place in the trees, watching and waiting for his team to realize they were just plain stupid and work together better. He'd been paying attention to every move and shiver their Chakra gave as they attacked and ran around themselves uselessly. He was just about to hop down and head towards them to end this farce when another Chakra signature caught his attention. His soft purple eyes narrowed as he realized who it belonged to. What would he be doing out here all alone? Unable to sense any ANBU near him, he figured the brat of a Kage probably found a way around his babysitters and was trying to play hide and seek or something. With a far more important thing to be seen to, his team had cleared out of his mind completely. Leaping from tree to tree with the grace and silence of a master shinobi, Ash quickly found himself midst a field of horrifying creatures that could only come from the nightmares of both adults and children. There, with the march of death, was his Kage. "Zin!" His voice held everything- questioning, uncertainty, strength, power, knowledge, and strangely of all, curiosity. These beings had no Chakra and couldn't be sensed by him even up close and personal. What were they, and why did they give off a sense of pure unadulterated animalistic need for destruction? His Shinobi instincts were driving him to take his Kage from them, keep him safe and protected, but he seemed comfortable with these creatures!

This whole situation was confusing, so far Sypher had to lead these two around as if they were puppies so it just made things worse that their sensei hadn't returned. "Zaku, here, make sre he can't move for awhile." He tossed what was left of his paralyzing poison to Zaku before looking back to Chrysal. She always fought head on, no tactic in it at all and he felt right now that even he could take Aki down even though he wasn't a fighting shinobi. "Chrysal, pull back! If he tries to run again then chase and defeat him but atleast let him explain which side he is on."

Cryshal had heard Sypher yell something and stopped almost dead on command. "Fine, but if he tries anything. I wont be afraid to attempt to kill him.... again." during his little 'explanation' Cryshal would be watching him the entire time, ready to strike at any moment. "This better be good, Aki."

User Image Aki paused, staring blankly at the two girls. One by birth, the other purely by demeanor, and that in the most demeaning sense he could come up with on the fly. Deciding to play along with their, in his eyes, foolishness, simply because that was what he'd been paid to do, he nodded slowly, relaxing his stance. "Alright, fine. I'll explain everything." he sighed out in a reluctant tone.

"You're useless." he pointed at Sypher, face suddenly split into a mocking grin. "You're a trigger happy gullible idiot." he followed up, finger aimed at Cryshal. "He's just sort of stuck in the middle." the finger was on Zaku now. "And me? I've got places to be." he pointed at his chin as he spoke the last line, before turning and darting into the trees at top speed.

Just as he was about to vanish himself into the brush though, a sound tore through the area, slamming into his ears like the sound of his mother screaming as she was ripped limb from limb and then eaten alive by a horde of zombies. Luckily, in his opinion, that had never happened. Not to his mother anyways. The guy he had just heard in the distance wasn't quite so lucky. Turning around, he returned to the clearing at exactly 137% of the speed he had left it at.

"Right, starting over." he quickly spoke before anyone could attempt to stab him again, the words rushing out as fast as he could breath to get his message across as fast as possible. "My name is Aki, Konoha Genin, serial four five seven three eight nine two six. My partner and I were hired by your team leader to run interference on this mission and test your skills. You're all terrible ninjas. This..." he pulled the scroll out of his belt, throwing it at Sypher, since the boy seemed to think he was in charge. "Is a recipe for carrot cake."

Aki paused, giving Sypher a few seconds to confirm his claim while he caught his breath. "Now, if you all want to live, we need to get back to the village. Now. Playtime is over, and something you're not ready to know about, much less meet in person, is on it's way here now." Finished with his "Explanation", Aki went silent, still trying to catch his breath, and staring at the three with a serious expression. He wasn't sure what he'd do if they refused to believe him, since he hadn't exactly been playing the trustworthy type up to now, but he couldn't exactly leave them to face... Those, alone.

“Those who dare bring harm to my friends, my village, and my way of life…”

xxxxAs he had done on his initial trip through the land of fire, Yamatano opted for the time consuming, yet hidden and fun, route of leaping through the tall tree branches instead of walking along the ground. More than anything, he was glad for the shade that the trees blessed him with, keeping him at bay from the evil powers of the sun.

Despite the hard work and occasional near slip, Yamatano enjoyed traveling this way. It kept him in shape, he had a better view of the countryside........and he could remain hidden in case he ran into someone he didn't want to have an altercation with. Such as Zin, for example. After having barely escaped Konoha those few months ago through a promise, Yamatano didn't think Zin or any of his agents would take kindly to him walking through their land, even if he was simply on his way to another mission, one which he should have completed by now. It wasn't his fault Suna was nearly obliterated and he had to stay after the battle, but if any leaf shinobi recognized him, they might think he had been lying about his mission from the get-go. So Yamatano was just glad that, by traveling this way, the abysmally small change of running into the hokage in the middle of the forest was completely eradicated. Because really, what were the odds he would actually run into Zin?

Thats when he heard the roar.

As bone-chilling as the shrill tone of the Mizukage's secretary, Yamatano almost lost his balance and fell out of the tree he was leaping through.
"What on earth was that? A Bear? A Dragon?" Neither of the choices seemed likely, since bears weren't nearly that loud, and dragons hadn't been seen in a long time. Still, what could it be?

Curiosity getting the better of him, but sanity still holding on, Yamatano climbed through the trees toward the source of the roar. He thought he would be prepared to take down or simply ignore whatever he found, but he could not be truly prepared for what he saw: The end of what looked like a batallion of grey skinned, drooling humans, the same as those that befell Water Country those years ago. What had happened? Had the creatures resurfaced? Had they not truly been eradicated? Were they even the same type of creature? Yamatano considered silently dropping down, taking out some of the straggling creatures so as to not draw attention, but the risk was too great. Moving through the trees put him at the same pace as the retinue, which had now marched past him, and dropping to the ground would put him at too great of a risk of exposure. Besides, he still had to worry about Zin's agents, the real reason he was in the trees. What if they saw him among these things? Come to think of it, where on earth were the Konoha armed forces. Sure, Zin's elite seemed to be sociopathic killers, but even they wouldn't allow this......horde to walk about, would they?

No, the risk was too great. All Yamatano could do was get to the nearest village outside of fire country, and try to contact the Mizukage. Konoha's forces had aided Kiri in the initial uprising of these creatures, but perhaps the medical teams had found a way to effectively kill the beasts. Hisbest bet was to continue on to fire country, in the cover of the trees, and hope that these things could be dealt with by Zin until he could contact the Mizukage.

Zaku Akatori - Genin - Assassin - Chakra 25/25

Zaku caught the poison Sypher had thrown to him. He had no kunai left, so he felt might waste the poison if he placed it on a shurikan. After hearing Cryshal stop her advance to listen to Aki, he stopped to listen, keeping an eye on the man.

As Aki explained why he was out in the forest, Zaku couldn't help but believe him, as he wouldn't have came back after pretty much escaping with the document for no reason. Zaku turned his head to face away from everyone when he heard this was simply a test. A test he was sure his team, or more likely, he failed. Yet, he said 'Playtime is over.'

He turned towards Aki in confusion. "What do you mean by, something were not ready to know about? What did you just see to have you so worried?" Zaku could only clench his fists, as the tension began to build up inside him. Was it fear stirring in his stomache, or excitement at another chance to proove himself.

He caught the scroll in his arms before opening it, it was a recipie for carrot cake...he was keeping this. He would probably make it some time, he had heard Zin liked sweets but those were just rumors. "Y-You don't have to be so blunt...what are you so scared of...? What is heading this way?" He was utterly confused and shaking now because he was so scared that whatever was beyond that tree line had to be something that would traumitize the three of them since Aki knew about it already. "Cryshal, Zaku, grab whats important to you, we'll follow Aki back to the village." He was NOT going to deal with whatever was behind the tree line by the road, he would rather follow Aki back to the village and treat his teammate's wounds if they have any, including the old guy who was still laying on the ground.

The man was shocked into awareness by the terrifying roar in the distance, almost forgetting about the children he had been paid to test by the gut wrenching, horrible shriek. When the other kid came back soon after, explaining the entire situation, the Mysterious Man dropped all pretenses, knowing that openly declaring their mission meant that something was terribly wrong. The man dropped his pose and went to Aki's side, to give his story more credibility. "Aki speaks the truth. I am Garm, Serial Number four three eight eight two one nine four. We were employed to test your skills." Garm said no more, since there was no more that he could say: Aki was the one who called off the mission, Aki must have some idea what was going on.

While all of this was puzzling, since both shinobi were telling almost the same exact story she had but little choice to believe them. She then put her kunai back into her pouch. She then hurried back to camp and started to pack everything that was there. She then grabbed syphers bag containing everything that he needed and brought it over to him after she had gotten everything that she could, the rest was up to Zaku. "I'm ready when everyone else is, I think we're just waiting on Zaku and sensei now." While she talked she handed Sypher his bag of many things.
