she was being pulled away, protected. There was pandemonium everywhere,so many different things directed at her.

Her gaze had lost it's fury as she craned her head to see Aeos behind her. At first, she wanted to feel good that he had protected her, again. The real Haveni started to feel this way, started to calm, but then...a realization provoked by the dead spirits inside her forced a negative response instead.

"Sickeningly sweet of you to protect me, again... One might think you were such a devoted friend."
She turned to face him, still within his grip. Her lifeless eyes peered up at him from beneath the pale veil of her hair. "A devoted friend, indeed." there was sarcasm laced in her bitter tone. She knew. "Had I not had what you wanted, you'd have left me to die~" she giggled now. "Allow me to reward such servile behavior!" her hands reached up and grasped onto the sides of his face, and she did not part her eyes from his at all as the darkness of the curse infiltrated into his body.

"You shall know my hate and my pain!" She was still laughing, even as her eyes shone with frail tears from the real Haveni, somewhere deep inside her.

Slowly, the tendrils ate away at his mind, caused him to experience horrible flashes of terror, agony. He wanted to cry out, but he was too busy gasping every time the wave hit him. He hadn't even realized he'd been shoved away from the one he was trying to... what was he trying to do? Had he been aiming to protect her? Save her? Kill... her?

He rolled on the sand, feeling the pain weaken, then intensify in random intervals of intensity. His shoulders shook, and he hauled himself up onto his hands and knees, only idly noting the grating of sand against his wounded hands.

It was inside him. It dove about his mind, coursed through his veins... he could feel it as if it were alive, and burrowing through his skin. It made him sick. It also made him feel undeniably... hollow. For a long, long moment, he felt as if he were nothing, alone in a black room. It was silent, save for the pounding in his head. And it was the most terrifying feeling he had ever experienced.

Eventually, Loki found the strength to stand, albeit on wobbly legs, and he remained partially hunched over. He stared at the sand at his feet, muttering incoherently in Nordic. It was as if he had forgotten any other language, and only continued to murmur to his shadow.

"It sates itself on the life-blood
of fated men,
paints red the powers' homes
with crimson gore,"

he had recited, half-lidded eyes looking up to stare at Haveni. As if he were referring to her.

Stepping back a bit, the constellation made one smooth leap, appearing at Haveni's side. A wicked smile had replaced his forlorn expression, although it would falter with every twinge of pain. He looked to the ice constellation, Aeos, and merely observed as he, too, was infiltrated with darkness.

But this was as things should be.

"Loki is here~" he sang in Nordic, leaning in an almost comedic manner to the side as he watched Haveni do her work. He did not witness the tears in her eyes, but even if he had, it wouldn't have mattered. He was Loki again; just as he had read, he was himself. The vile creature nobody loved, the wicked Loki. And that was how it was meant to be, he felt, peering down at his burnt hand.

Yes, it was a good thing. He had been liberated.

He began to speak to his hand, tone soft but aching. Yes; this was his Ragnarok.

"Black become the sun's beams
in the summers that follow,
weathers all treacherous."

He turned his head to look at Haveni, expression warped but mockingly sympathetic. "Vitoð ér enn, eða hvat?" he asked, completing his poem. Do you still seek to know? And what? He felt it was fitting; everything seemed to have become so clear. His body ached and screamed in protest every so often, but now he knew he would feel no remorse in fulfilling his destiny. He would be the trickster Loki, and nothing would hole him back.

It was a pity he could only speak in Norse, now; might as well not speak at all, if they wouldn't understand him. Yet he couldn't be so quick to judge.

Feeling his strength wash over him once more, he lifted a hand, staring at it strangely. Then, with a slight flick of the wrist, he sent fire cascading across the beach, to hit anyone in its path. Destruction. Destruction was all he wanted now.

[ SO BASICALLY, all Loki speaks right now is Nordic, because it was his first language, and is the only one he remembers now. Also, he's a wee bit crazy. Ragnaroooook. OH SNAP THIS WAS HUGE sorry. ; A; I'm such a ham. ]

She continued to walk forward resolutely, a small twitch of her finger obliterating the ice darts sent by Aeos. Her face was stony and determined. Her flings of air started to gain strength, turning from mere gusts to squalls. She would not let this happen.

"I have no choice, Haveni," she spat, her voice strained and gruff. "And I am saving you - from yourself."

She flinched as the possessed woman turned on Aeos, her pale fingers clutching madly on his face. Smoke tore itself from her body, flinging themselves onto the ice Constellation and sinking into his skin. Tears glinted in the pale light, oddly grim as they fell off of Haveni's face. She was not completely gone.

"Haveni! I know you're still in there! Stop! Please, just stop!" Her voice caught in her throat, abruptly ending her pleading. She had seen what had happened to Noctis, the fury and pain that had taken over his body, transforming him into a pawn of chaos. She couldn't let that continue. Loki suddenly appeared at Haveni's side, a maniacal grin on his face. The joy that had resulted from the chaos rolled off of him in waves. So he had been lost, too.

With a growl, she gathered a larger amount of air, hurling it straight towards the woman.

((Lawls! Yes logue yes you are a ham! A deliciously seasoned ham full of deliciousness -gobbles up alll peoples postings- Soo goood...))

Dashiell saw the lightning and light raining down on them at the last minute, snagging Ramial and rylia by their arms and swiftly yanking them back behind Az'riel watching the mix of lightning and arrow spark and fray the ground before them leaving scorched marks all across, thankful that it had not been better aimed or they all would have been fried. The battle on the beach had escalated tenfold, and now it seemed that there was more then before. A new thing..that seeping blackness had created, seeming to taint whichever creature chose to get to close to the girl in white.
"Yes this is getting far too out of hand..maybe even too dangerous for us" Dashiell questioned joining in, fearing that fire powers or no he certainly wasn't strong enough to face off against what was starting to look like an army. He also wasn't willing to risk his life..risk being touched by those horrid black things, not while he still had a family back home to take care of. Fighting from afar was fine for now, but he knew he couldn't do much more.

Daskri mal, glad to have escaped with life and limb intact, a bit singed but otherwise unscathed, though his hair was an utter mess..Having moved through the masses to find a darker place along the sidelines. It was all chaos and darkness rampaging across the beach, haveni had lost it and seemed to be dragging more and more down with her.
Watching with a bit of sad wonder, wishing to do more, almost wondering if he should charge back in. To what end though? Daskri caught sight of noel with others seemingly leaving the battle field as well. Aeos with haveni and a horrible scene, the rather sweet ice constellation lost to whatever the doomed maidens dark hold held for him.
No he really couldn't do anything more then be an observer for this one..maybe help the few that could leave, but surely nothing more.

Alberon waited...and waited...and..soon was finding his bag of candy growing empty..and then more empty..and more empty. Fidgeting as the time went on, watching the moon and the sky and realizing that it was getting late and he was getting oh so sleepy..and all those people were still on the beach..and everything was still so flashy..
The little phyri-fly hummed and blinked slowly, rubbing his eyes as he slowly got to his feet.
Where on earth had his daddy gone?

Swarms of black cloaked him, choked him, and made him feel like he was drowning.

Aeos resisted the curse fiercely, a soft whimper escaping from his throat first. He couldn’t allow it to take
him because there was too much as stake if he literally became a monster under no one’s orders.
However, the constellation of ice couldn’t fight this animosity of the dead as it pushed into him from
Haveni’s fingers. It was like fighting against a tide of water and trying not to be pushed down as it
shoved him down from all around.

There was no way to fight back at all.

His mouth parted to allow a loud, broken scream to ring out in the beach already covered with both
cursed, his ‘allies’, and those from the city. It was an animal’s agonized cry as a predator devoured it.
Aeos’ pale eyes clenched shut, fingers twisting into claws as it secured itself around Haveni’s waist with a
vice-like grip as though attempting to calm his soul. A feral growl rumbled forth from his throat, though
his outer appearance remained calm amidst the demonic cries of pain-pain-hate-hate-hate thundering in
his mind.

The aching feeling of being absolutely alone flickered like no other, burning into him like no flame could.

A black aura poured out of him, intermingling with Haveni’s own as if there were no difference. Dark
power spiraled within him; if he had been powerful before, he’d grown tenfold in the passing of a minute.
Pale aqua hues slid open halfway, wavering sanity barely lighting the ice constellation’s eyes until it faded
all at once like a candle blown out. Never had he felt so in pain; never had he felt like he wanted to reap
vengeance on anyone more than everyone around him right now.

Just as suddenly as fire came at Loki’s call, ice began to wage war against the city, starting with the
temperamental ocean that wrought slow havoc on the coastline. Aeos’ eyes glowed, wings sliding shut to
the close around Haveni as Nashara’s wind belted against them. Sliced feathers and glowing blue
blood splattered the sand, but that didn’t stop a vortex of cold air from forming around Aeos as he began
gathering the abundance of power he’d been given so freely.

He soared across the heavens, reeling angrily at the pitches of black in the air. It was almost
choking, but nothing but air touched him. Kurios reared back, hooves dusting the air before he
charged forward in his lightning speed. He regarded the city of Priyal in a ludicrous air, trying to
figure out just was happening to the normally peaceful, bustling port city. Why was there a
dangerous combination of elements warring on the coastlines? Flames struck the sand, lightning
pulsed from one side to another, and ice beckoned the sandy waters into solids.

The Espion on Hallow Ash eventually found Skyre and Eisha in the air, but noticed
they did nothing to prevent the decimation of the city. Perhaps they did not want to be a part of the
battle, perhaps it was nothing of interest for the dragonborn. He had no idea, but the feline-like
creature, one of the largest amongst his race, thundered down to make his mark on the battle
though he had not an idea of what was happening.

He let his golden hooves echo across the pavement and resisted the urge to rear back and slam
them in righteous anger. Kurios hated this unbalance; could they not be quiet?

Gray eyes slid towards a cluster of moonfolk (Ramiel, Rylia, Dashiell, and Az’riel) not yet in
the battle, but watching. He growled loudly, as it was as low as his tones could get, fur ruffled in a
gruff annoyance. “What is this? A poorly made festival?”

A cynical laughter was coming out of his mouth. He didn’t sounded nor felt like himself but there was nothing he could do about it. He moved his hand ready to attack noel again when he saw Ergo going for him “s**t…” was the only thing he managed to say before feeling Ergo’s arm around his neck

“Let go cough… you stupid little.. cough” he started coughing as the grasp hurt his throat. He tried to get free but it was too late, the Constellation had already kicked him in the chest, and Keanu could feel the air leaving his lungs. Once again the ocean phyri fell to his knees, taking kick deep breaths. After he got his breath back he started laughing once again, even more sinister this time. “That….” He started as he got back on his feet “…was not such a bright idea boy” he had forgotten completely about Noel and was staring now at Ergo with a wicked look on his blood splattered face. He was furious and they were going to feel his rage.

Keanu closed his eyes fro a second and started walking backward, towards the sea. As he moved back so did the water though….the waves started getting taller and taller and once it had reached a quite considerable altitude Keanu chuckled “Hope you can swim” and with that her lowered his arms and the wave fall on top of those who were at the beach, dragging in some of them. The only once who seemed to be safe from the wave was Haveni, somehow Keanu felt she was the only one he should not hurt, though he was not quite sure of why not.

Suzette looked up at Fulmine and pouted but nodded “I’ll…stay at a safe distance..but Fulmine…” she then did something she had never done. She untied the rope holding her vial to her obi and gave it to Fulmine “Use it if you get on a tight spot and don’t let it touch your skin! Or I’ll have very little time to give you the antidote!” she offered him a shy smile that was quickly changed to a look of fright.

A giant wave was falling on top of them all, she looked around but it as too late. There was nowhere she could run. Suz had only enough time to take a deep breath in and close her eyes. Soon she felt as the wave dragged her into the sea while she fought to stay on float, she tried to curse a couple of times but ended up swallowing salt water and coughing so she decided to just concentrate on floating.

(let’s say the wave dragged ergo, suz and…whoever wants to go for a swim xP)

"Well, we know the truth has a lot of sides to it, don't we?" The words were directed to Seir, grinning as he took a few steps back. A flash of light had his two pistols disappearing and forming a giant.. bazooka?

Leaping back from the rooftop to the one behind him, Noctis used his shoulder to take most of the weight from his hands. The giant black gun was huge and clunky, just Noctis's style. His fingers immediately pulled the trigger, aiming large bullets at Seir. A deafening noise shot out throw the chaos of the night, only adding to the sounds of war. The recoil dragged his feet across the building, nearly threatening to fall off the steep edge and onto the sandy path below.

"s**t that was close. I hope that hit him--" Noctis muttered, struggling to get a secure grip back on the rooftop once more.

Fire was upon her right side, and Ice upon her other. It made no difference to her now. Simply cursing them wasn't enough to redeem what had been done to her, what was being done to her.

Loki had spoke to her, but she could not understand. Not as if she heard much o anything anyways. Only the crying of the spirits swimming inside her. Her own black aura intertwined through that of Aeos's, before lunging towards the heavens like a wyrm, separated into two, and plunging deep into Rylia and Daskri Mal, infecting them as well.

Fire and ice were converging from every direction, crashes as buildings began to engulf in flame. Screams of townspeople who had not yet fled. They're screaming, just like before...I'll pretend not to hear them, as they did when I screamed, when I cried.

Her body was shaking slightly as she allowed Aeos to hold onto her and shield her, but everything was still empty. The voices were only sated by violence and destruction, which was happening around them now. But still, inside, the real Haveni wept.

As Keanu fell to his knees, Ergo felt a quick shift from horror over the blood on the kid's face to rage from the look in his eyes to joy, battle-drone pulling him in and ringing in his ears. He had a distinct vision of scales raining down on people from many angles. It made him giggle, a bubbling, almost lusty sound that would have chilled him deeply had he heard himself making it. He saw, out of the corner of his eye, that Noel had bolted, and that made him even happier now. He would've been doubled over with laughter had Keanu decided not to conjure up a wave. A tidal wave, at that. But then he was doubling over, because...

"Oh, oh, that's good. You just, like, you know, went and washed a bunch of children I don't know out to sea, while we stand here in the street. Not very bright behind those scary eyes of yours, are you, my wee cully?" Then his grin became a grimace, another one of those little occurrences, a phonetical equivalent that he would have found amusing had he not been trying to bash this kid's head inside out, and his brains outside in. "Boy? Did you call me... boy? Now you're getting pert. I dislike pert little blue children. Pert green ones, too, now that I think of it." Giggling a little, Ergo brought his foot up again, swinging it at head level to the blue one. This was a kick that wasn't intended to shatter bones, it was one intended to knock unconscious. And perhaps shatter, too. He didn't mind too much.

"There's always something to be done... well spoken, dear blue-winged one, well spoken indeed! I applaud you on your rather deep and entirely poetic statement." Skryre clapped his hands together thrice. The sound was muffled by feathers and the breeze above the city, but it was audible nonetheless. His brown eyes shifted down as he took in more of the fun. Ergo, his persistent and ignorant rival, was having quite the time slapping around the blue cursed one with his feet. Skryre couldn't help but admire his form. Not his figure, but his fighting form, which was impeccable at the moment.

Frowning slightly, Skryre turned to Eisha, eyes sincere and sympathetic. "My heart goes out to you, dear blue angel. The path of knowing, the path of insight, is a lonely path indeed. I speak from experience, as I like to think that I walk it myself, but that, like all things I think and don't record, might be another work of my own fiction." Looking down again with a different view, he added, "To know that something like this must happen, and perhaps happen again, must be a heavy burden indeed."

With one arm not quite useable, Seir shifted his weight subtly from foot to foot, not quite sure
which way to move—which way to attack in a way that was most painful to Noctis. Clawed digits
unclenched, flexing lightly as he watched the dark constellation form a large weapon that Seir didn’t
quite know. Of course, considering the normal weapons Noctis used, the thief could easily assume it
would shoot large bullet-type projectiles at him.

The dark constellation debated this with mild displeasure before finally leaping forward. He shifted
out of the way of the large bullets as they crashed into the roof behind him and caused large
amounts of damage. Seir reconsidered the danger of the cursed gunslinger, then.

Seir leapt from the roof of his building to Noctis’, landing lightly with a cat’s sense of balance.
Cocking his head lightly at the gunslinger, glowing eyes regarded the foolish brat before he threw
his hand forward to rip out Noctis’ heart.

thu-thump, thu-thump...

It was all Haveni could hear now, her own heartbeat. Her gaze shifted beyond Aeos, to the fight between Seir and Noctis.

Thu-thump, thu-thump...
But you're friends, aren't you....? Her thoughts deep down were crying. Her eyes had continued to glisten with un-shed tears, but her cheeks remained dry. "My dear little shadow...are you lonely? Are you beaten by those that are dead?" Ruin spoke to her in her thoughts, but she ignored it, watching them.

Hm. Obviously, Seir wasn't to be beaten the physical way. Noctis knew he stood little chance if the damned constellation kept avoiding every attack. Time for the one move that had always been in the back of his thoughts-- In his normal state, he would have never considered it to be himself to do this move-- In fact, he had always hoped it would happen so that he could watch and laugh one day.

He narrowly avoided Seir's hand, grabbing his wrist in a death grip to avoid the other pulling away. He pulled Seir toward him and that's when the unspeakable happened--- In full view of Haveni, Aeos, Rosel and everyone who might have been staring up at the fight.

.. WAIT FOR IT.

Noctis's lips met Seir's in a light kiss. Mouth-to-mouth contact. It may have been only for about three seconds or so-- possibly less but it certainly felt like much longer, the moment seemed to freeze-- He pulled away with a smirk, hoping to fully shock the other into an epic defeat. He immediately leapt a small distance back. "That's one way of shutting you up, you arrogant a**, isn't it?" He licked his lips, a wide grin, wider than ever, had spread across his face. "Quite an experience I'd say."

That might teach the cloaked constellation a thing or two. Or actually, it might give Noctis the death he was asking for.

At that most subtle yet alarming of actions, there was an uproar of shrieks and cries and curses in her own mind; the spirits were wailing and provoked. Though still expressionless for the most part, her eyes had widened a little, having witnessed Seir and Noctis. The heart which had been the only thing she could hear, beating in her chest, felt as if it had just sank to the bottom of the cold ocean.

What was this horrible feeling? It somehow even silenced the dead, who were trying their utmost to throw her into rage. This feeling..she'd had it once before. Oh...right. It was the event that broke her in the beginning, which had lead to her death, which lead to her current, divided existence. It was the crushing of a heart, and the cold despair that remained...Or maybe that was just Aeos.

No, it wasn't. It wasn't. Two large tears overflowed from her eyes, which still looked lifeless. The black aura was dwindling, but occasionally spiking. The dead souls were trying hard to have control back, but against a maiden's anguished heart, their power was for naught. At least now.

Debris which had been torn from buildings and all around plummeted from the sky as the black began slowly dissipating in its struggle. And..in her mind, she could hear Ruin's voice, again. "Oh, you darling thing... to think after everything, you're still naive enough to think somebody would choose you of all creatures to love. No wonder I exist. Tsk-tsk."

Noel wasn't too affected by the wave, simply dissolving to just flow with the water. When he reformed, ontop of a building near by, the heat causing him to rise like steam, he saw destruction everywhere.

This wasn't right.. Not at all! And what was it's purpose? Children, parents, everyone.. Swept away by the waters by the one man Who made his brother's heart smile. He looked around to see who he could help, but the first person he saw, was the girl in white. She seemed so torn, so.. Hurt..

She was dangerous, Noel knew, but he had to help. Making his body in the form of a more ghostly appearance than normal, so that he could not be touched, rather, he would scatter, he slowly approached her.

He raised a hand, hovering above it were his letters. Tell me, Miss.. Why is this happening..? Is there any real reason?
