Rogue flinched as Gen left the room. She could practically feel his dejection as her own and her eyes lowered. She swung herself off the bed and followed him, whispering a small 'Sorry' to Maria as she left. She closed the door gently, and as soon as it was closed, her tears escaped closed eyelids and she pressed her hands to her face. I can't...Fit in anywhere.......

Generation ran down the hallway, anger and hurt boiling at the pit of his stomach, making him grit his teeth as the path became a blur and he was in the courtyard. He let out a loud snarl and threw a punch at a tree, breaking it into half. He pulled his hand back, knuckles bleeding. I hate this! I hate you! He screamed in his head and clenched his hair in his fists, opening the wound on his hand even more. There's always something that makes me different from everyone else, even in a place where I should belong!!

Maria sat down next to Zeeks' bed, not sure what to make out of what she had just heard. Her face became a sort of hollow, "I'm not dead yet?" look, the face that she hadn't worn since her last weekly dose of MER. If he were here, he'd know what to do, She couldn't help but think.

Ezekiel heard a loud crack, it was outside, probably Generation. He left the room, giving Rogue a small burst of reassurance as he past her. He found Generation s in the courtyard, his hand blood and a tree blown in half. "It doesn't help anything to break your own hand," He said and he connected to and start influencing Generation, quelling the anger.

Generation gave Zeeks a blank stare, setting up barriers in his mind to keep him out. "No. But it makes me feel a hell lot better." He said dully. "Usually." He stared at his bloody hand and at the healed wound. "I can't break my hand unless you have some sort of antidote for fast healing." He rubbed the dry blood on his knuckles. No scar was left from the impact of the punch.

Rogue felt her spirits lift a little as Zeeks ran by. Must be his power...... She gave a small smile, wiping the tears off her face. I wonder if mom knew about dad..... She mulled and got up, heading towards her dorm to get her phone.

"You feel like you don't fit in," It wasn't a question. Ezekiel looked at Generation's bloody hand. "But the thing is, no one really fits in anywhere, It's just a matter of being accepted," Zeeks said, "and we are accepted here."

Maria got up, she wanted to talk to Rogue. Rogue was just leaving when Maria stepped out of the dorm. "Hey," She called somewhat quietly. She sped up a bit to catch up with Rogue.

Generation's face grew dark for a brief second before he turned his head away swiftly closing his eyes. "Even here, sometimes we are not." He stared at his hand again, the blood gone, his knuckles healed. "Expecially........If you are me." He added quietly.

Rogue let Maria catch up, her eyes downcast and staring at the floor. "Hey...." She said in a voice even quieter than Maria's.

"What do you mean by that?" Ezekiel asked.

Maria looked up at Rogue and said, "It never lasts long after he leaves, the good feeling I mean." Then she said, "I think it would be good if we both know the whole truth about Wayne and what he was doing to me and the others."

Rogue nodded. "Yeah, we should." She said quietly. Her mom could wait for later.

Generation took in a breath and let out out as a large sigh. "I'm.....Not exactly like everyone else with powers..." He bit the inside of his cheek, not exactly sure how to say it. "I have trouble controlling them. Not like the way Maria does....It just...." He sighed again. "It's like having a split personality. When my powers are dominant, I'm a totally different person, and I don't know or have any control over what is going on....."

Mayu thought for a moment and nodded her head, dropping the subject. "If you dont mind me saying, your father is a b*****d then. Kicking out his own son because he liked another man? He wouldnt have liked me then." Mayu smiled a genuine smile and bit into her apple again.

"You need to learn to control your powers, that's one of the reasons we're here," Ezekiel said. "I could help you, if you'd let me," He continued.

"Wayne was doing research on what he called Mental Evolutionary Radiation, among other side affects, it unlocked hidden parts of the mind. He was originally testing it on adults, himself included, but he found that it was much more potent on children. There were twelve of us, I think, Zeeks knows for sure, he found some of us, bought more of us, he may have kidnapped some of us, I don't know. His experiments spanned nearly fifteen years. We were all well taken care of, the Mothers made sure of that. They educated us, fed us, made sure we had some bleak illusion of happiness, mine was called Karin. On the other hand, there were the Orderlies, they were mean and they treated us like animals. Then there were the scientists, some were nice, Dr. Wrawk was nice... we were just experiments to the others though. They were always scanning and examining us, we all had a weekly CT scan with our dose of MER," Maria stopped rambling and her vice kinda trailed off.

Rogue stayed silent as she listened to what her father had done to Maria and the others. "CT scan? MER??" Her fists clenched. This was just too much.

"Don't you think I've tried that?? The other side of me has a mind of it's own. It can think for itself and it's not that easy to control." Generation shrugged. "You could try." He sighed.

Elena laughed " yeah he is and he also has a very bad taste in women" She said laughing even harder. " hey lets get out of here and do something before the day is over" She said pushing in her chair.

"I'm s-sorry," Maria said. When she was younger she had never been able to believe that evil man was capable of having a family. She looked over at Rogue, then suddenly hugged the taller girl. "It's alright now though," Maria whispered.

Rogue hugged Maria back. "Thanks." She shrugged, letting her go. "I guess it is...." She gave a wry smile. "He's gone, for now, and we're here, right? So......I guess we're alright here...." For now. She added silently to herself. You have no idea..... An inner part of her chuckled.

Generation gave a dark laugh. "You say that now...." He sighed, but shrugged. Ooooh, when do I get to prove him wrong?? A mischevious inner him asked maliciously, eager to come out and play.
