"O' course," Rory laughed, pulling her against his side to kiss the top of her head. "Can I hae some o' yours, too?"
The clerk got them their ice cream and handed it over. Rory smiled and paid the man, giving Lee the ice cream to hold as he did so. Tucking his wallet away again he led her to a table close to her father's, letting the man have some privacy for his phone call.

Lee nodded, taking her ice cream from Rory. "If you want some, sure." He didn't seem too enthusiastic about cheesecake, but she'd gladly share. Starting to eat her ice cream before they even sat down, Lee smiled to Rory, in good spirits again. Sweets could cure anything, it seemed.
A young couple walked into the shop, the girl skipping along as she held her boyfriend's free hand, the boy seeming to be put in charge of carrying her multitude of shopping bags as they walked. He looked less than happy, distancing himself from the counter while his girlfriend requested what she wanted. The curly haired brunette spotted Mr. Katan smiling excitedly as she stepped toward him. "Hey, Herby!" She giggled, not noticing the man was on his phone. "How's Lee? I heard she's staying at some carni--" Mr. Katan gestured toward Lee and Rory, trying to ignore the girl as best he could. She turned her head, blinking at the couple beside her before she realized it was her friend sitting in front of her. "Lee?!" She covered her mouth, squealing as she clung to her old friend, hopping excitedly. "You look so different! You're not wearing makeup! And, look, your hair is longer!" She sat herself down at their table, gesturing for her boyfriend to do the same. "Is this the pikey you're dating?!"
Lee blinked, just barely managing a surprised smile. "S-Sienna?" She laughed a bit with disbelief, not sure what to say. "You look... exactly the same. We were gonna go see you tomorrow... I... Yeah, I wanted you to meet Rory." She couldn't exactly be excited when she was in a bit of shock.

Rory just grunted in greeting, getting a returned greeting grunt from the boyfriend, both boys eating their ice cream in silence and letting the girls talk.

The girl waved casually to Rory, resting her elbows on the table and working on her ice cream as she spoke. "So, like, Hailey already told me all about you. She says you're kind of a d**k." She shrugged, pouting a bit. "I can't believe she met you before I did..." She looked somewhat insulted.
"Eh, no, Rory's not... Wait... She told you she slept with him, didn't she?" Lee sunk in her chair, feeling bad that the girl was ruining Rory's reputation without him knowing.
"Heh, yeah, a little bit. I take it she didn't?" The girl brushed her hair out of her face, looking Rory over and talking about him as if he weren't there. "His eyes are kinda weird, hm? But he's cute. Congrats, little Lee's growing up." Sienna laughed, stealing some of Lee's ice cream. She looked back to Rory, grinning. "Has she had sex with you yet?" Apparently she already knew that Lee would never answer honestly.

Rory choked on his ice cream, making a weird noise and cutting his eyes sidelong to Sienna's boyfriend. The other boy just grunted and shrugged, still eating, focused completely on his triple fudge. Rory looked back at Sienna. "Tha's not really your business. An' there weren't nae 'little bit' about it. I didnae sleep wi' Hailey. She molested me when I wis sleepin'." He looked down at his ice cream, muttering, "Seems t' be a common occurrence in me life, apparently."

"Yeah, she did that with Jon, too. 'Cept, he was a total a*****e and let her." She glared at her boyfriend, kicking him under the table. The girl focused on Rory again and just laughed a bit, looked back at Lee. "Figures you'd fall for another prude, though." She covered her mouth giggling. What was odd, though, was that Lee really didn't seem to mind the girl making fun of both her and her boyfriend -- a bit too tolerant of this girl.
"You should prolly ask when we're not right here in front of everyone." Lee gave Rory an apologetic expression, not really knowing what else to do.
Sienna looked toward Rory, grinning. "That's a yes, then. Wow... I never thought Lee would give it up so soon."

Lee gave Rory an uncomfortable smile, feeling a bit bad that she didn't have time to prepare him for someone like Sienna.
The girl just laughed, seeming to take his words as a compliment. "I'm pretty sure I'm the most interesting, though. The rest of Lee's friends are so fricking boring, seriously. Oh! That's right, Akira is mad at you. Like, seriously pissed." She frowned at Lee, feeling bad that she was the one to inform her.
"Eh? W-why, I haven't done anything..."
"Yeah, that's the point. You ditched her, and ended up talking to Hailey, of all people, before even telling her you weren't dead or something. So now she pretty much hates you." Sienna scrunched up her nose, eating her ice cream again to avoid talking anymore for a bit.
Lee sunk in her seat, eating more of her ice cream to comfort herself. Well, she would have been angry, too, had Akira done the same thing. "Do you think she'd still come to our wedding?"
"Eh? Wedding?" Sienna's eyes widened, her face dropping a bit. "You can't be serious! Are you out of your ******** mind?! You don't marry your first and only boyfriend, that's just stupid. Lee, I love you, but come on. We'll ignore the fact that you're only seventeen, but seriously, you're marrying a pikey that you met, what, a few months ago?" She shook her head, sitting back in her chair looking rather frustrated.
Lee just laughed at her friend in response, taking no offense at all to her insults. She doubted Rory would be so forgiving, though. "You're not coming, then?"
Sienna continued to shake her head, pouting. "Depends on what the bridesmaid's dresses look like, I guess..."

Rory held up a hand, looking at Sienna. "Okay, firstly, th' pikey in question is sittin' not two feet from you, girl. Secondly, Lee's old enough t' make her own choices about whom she loves an' marries." He looked at Lee. "Bet if you talked t' Akira, she'd prolly come around. Doubt she'll wanna miss your weddin'."
"Can I come?" Jon asked, the first non-grunted sprout of words he'd uttered since walking into the shop.

"Listen, douche bag, don't tell me I can't worry over my friend. She's still just a baby, and she's gotta have someone to tell her right from wrong." Sienna leaned over to hug Lee, petting her hair in a mock-affectionate fashion. "'Sides, I dunno if you're good enough for her. Can't send my blessings to someone I don't know."
Lee shoved the girl away, scrapping at the bottom of her cup of ice cream, wishing she had more. "Sienna, shut up, he doesn't know you well enough to let you insult him like that..." She shook her head, slightly amused at her friend, but feeling horrible at the same time, hoping Rory didn't take offense. Blinking over to the quiet boy sitting beside her, Lee smiled, not really sure she heard him right. "Y-yeah, sure... I mean, if you want."
Sienna rolled her eyes. "You just wanna go so you can check out all the didikai girls, don't you?"

"Maybe," Jon answered honestly before going back to his ice cream.
Rory frowned at Sienna. "She ain't a baby. Hell, she already been married once. I ain't quite sure you're th' best qualified t' tell her how t' run her life, eh?" He grinned at the girl and looked at Lee. "'s alreet, girl. I ain't insulted. I only listen t' half o' what outsiders say anyway."

Sienna shook her head, glaring at the boy. "Heh, yeah, you're probably right." He could insult back, then? Perhaps she might like Rory more than she thought she would. "Wait... Oh my god, are you shitting me? Lee's been married? You didn't tell me that!" She shoved Lee's shoulder, shaking her head with disbelief. "You really are growing up, huh? I could cry..."
Lee just cleared her throat lightly, sinking down with embarrassment. She hadn't exactly been planning to tell anyone about that...

Rory caught Lee's look and gave her a sheepish smile. "I ain't sure it really counts as a true marriage, though. It wis more or less just t' join th' clan. They annulled it about a month later. The guy's her adopted brother now." Wait, that might make it worse. "I mean t' say, his father adopted Lee since he's th' head o' th' clan."

Lee put a hand to her forehead with frustration, wishing Rory would just shut up.
"Oh my god... Lee, please tell me you didn't screw your brother."
"What?! No! Ugh... I mean, it wasn't... Can we change the subject, please?" She let her chin rest on the table, thoroughly humiliated at this point.
Sienna laughed, looking apologetically to Rory and then Lee. "You've turned into a little heartbreaker, haven't you? Looks like I might have rubbed off on you a little, huh? Sorry about that." The girl's eyes lit up, looking to Rory again. "Hey! That's right! I've heard about you from someone else, too... who was it... Oh, Jeremy! Heh, he ******** hates you. No one has anything nice to say about you, it seems. I think he's just jealous, though. Always been into Lee and all, plus, ya know, all those stories about how big didikai guy's dicks are. Probably has something to do with that." She laughed, sliding the rest of her ice cream over to Lee so she could finish it, knowing she'd enjoy it.
Lee was torn between hiding her face with embarrassment and nibbling on the rest of the girl's ice cream, eventually deciding to do both at the same time.

"Th' feelin's mutual in Jeremy's case. b*****d tried t' kill me. Twice," Rory grumbled, then looked down in his lap a moment before looking at the two girls. "I really wouldnae know about those stories. I donnae exactly gae 'round comparin' meself t' outsiders." He shrugged and slid his ice cream over to Lee as well. "I think Jeremy's just pissed he wonnae be marryin' Lee's wealth. Me, I could care less if she's rich or poor. Love her fae who she is, not what she's bringin' t' th' household."
