But to the Chuunin's utter surprise Kimiko still seemed more then ready to fight, in fact she reached behind her for her katana with frightening speed for one who was so obvious clutzy, her dexterity had to be bottom of the barrel, yet it seemed this didn't apply to her skill with a blade. Just as as he'd decided to take the battle bit more serious, his eyes upon the girls gleaming sword... he felt heard the rushing of wind behind him, and the whistling of steel. Wait...but how? Clones had no substance, they shouldn't have made -

The next moment was like a storm of steel. The Chuunin's entire world went black in less than a second, his body falling the limply into the water as the four Kimiko's ran by four directions, each having made four blinding strikes. Each of the four looked back their faces some what surprised. "Huh? That worked?" they said as one. They looked down to their swords. "Good thing I was using the back side..." The Chuunin let out a gurgle as he began to sink. "Ah!" All four Kimiko's looked suddenly concerned as they sheathed their swords and ran towards him, each grabbing the man and pulling him out of the water spouting apologies, their combined strength more than enough.
The Chuunin on the beach's expressions had changed in an instant. One moment they'd been watching a fight and then...suddenly that tempest of slashes and it was over...no not even slashes...the girl had used to blunt side, had she been striking to kill.
"What the heck was that?! I didn't even see... Did she use teh Shunshin or-"
But the first Chuunin, the one who'd been so Jovial before, was looking more serious now. So...Sanako's daughter indeed. "Their solid...her clones are solid..."
The others looked at him in shock. "What!? Are you serious? A Genin with a solid Clone? That's not possible, that's a Jounin level jutsu!" The four Kimiko's were dragging their defeated comrade back through the water, spouting apologies uselessly to his unconscious ears.
The First Chuunin though looked to Sanako knowingly "Am I right?"
Sanako merely smiled at them "Hmm...maybe so." She said cryptically. The Chuunin smirked. So she wasn't going to help them huh? Typical. He looked at the young girl with a new light however. This was definitely more interesting than he'd previously suspected. "You three...fight her together."
The others looked at the first with Shock. "What!? You serious? I mean, you serious!?"
The First looked at them all again. "He's really serious!" accused another.

The first Chuunin took the defeated one from the four Kimiko's as they pulled him ashore, from the ponds waters, while he smiled at her winningly "That was pretty impressive, I don't think Koichi knew what hit him." he looked at the remaining trio besides himself. "Okay you guys...you're up."
Kimiko looked at the three Chunin slightly alarmed. "H-huh? You want me to fight all three of them at once?!"
The First Chuunin gave a her grin "Well, I think it might be the only way to give you a challenge. They're all about as strong as Koichi is." he slung his comrade over his shoulder like a potato sack. "Tell you what though, if you beat them, then I'll take you on by myself, no help."
Kimiko looked uncertainly at the three, who were in turn giving her uncertain looks. "Well...Okay I guess..." It should be noted that each time it was all four Kimiko's spoke, in perfect harmony with one another. "But..." she looked at her Mother "Are you sure I shouldn't hold back?" She was a little concerned about that last fight, if she hadn't have been using the back side of her blade... she didn't even want to think about it.
Sanako looked more serious now. "If you need too...I didn't think they'd be this weak."
"We can hear you!!" Crowed all three of her next opponents.
"You say something?" There was a dark and subtly terrifying undertone to Sanako's casual inquiry.
"No Ma'am." The groaned in exasperation.
As the four Kimiko clones returned in a few quick jumps back to the center of the pond, the three Chuunin followed after her, lining up across from her as they huddled together.
"Alright..." said one "Koichi's problem was that he didn't take her seriosly...we can't make that mistake, Soild clones or not she's no Ordinary genin. We'll hit her hard with our attack pattern alpha."
"But she's just a ki-"
"That's what Koichi thought to, you think you're any tougher than him?"
The other one sighed "No..."
"Alright then...let's do this."
They split up and took their positions, the four Kimiko's watching them the whole time with innocent looks on their faces. "Okay...you guys are ready right?" She didn't want to seriously hurt anyone this time. "I'll still give it my all if you three are gonna fight together..."
The three Chuunin looked equally determined. "That's fine...we're not pulling any punches either."
The four Kimiko's nodded each one suddenly striking an identical combat stance, half reaching for their sword, and half preparing to make a hand sign.
"Alright boys..." said the middle Chuunin. "Attack pattern Alpha!!"

Ninjutsu- Bunshin no Jutsu: This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. In certain years, Ninja are required to know this jutsu in order to advance to the Genin level. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Unlike Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, thus, they are without substance, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent. Cp cost: 1 pt. per bunshin. Damage: N/A Requirements: Academy students learn it on the academy as a basic jutsu. Training days: Academy. Chakra control check DC: 5 per bunshin. Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) The user utilizes the sheep hand seal or the tiger hand seal and concentrates their chakra to assume the appearance of another person, an animal, or even any object. This is one of the required basic jutsu taught at the Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninjas know this technique. Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Technique) This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Cp cost: 1 Damage: N/A Requirements: Must have something to replace with. Training days: Academy time. Special: Add chakra mod to dodge bonus. You cannot use this while in a defensive position.
Nawanuke no Jutsu (Rope Escape Technique) A basic technique taught at the Ninja academy. When a ninja is tied with rope, he can undo the knots and escape using this jutsu. Futon: Daitoppa (Wind Release: Great Breakthrough) The user sends out a powerful explosion of wind, which can easily level almost an entire area. It is known that a variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame, making it stronger and more damaging to the target. Cp cost: 25 Damage: 25 - 60 Requirements: Level 7+, Wind Affinity, must know at least one flame jutsu before learning the flame combination Training days: 5 days for basic technique / 1 day for flame combination. Special: If combined with a flame jutsu, add 35 damage to the result.
Kamaitachi no Jutsu (Cutting Whirlwind Technique) A Jutsu that, using a giant fan or similar, creates huge gusts of wind mixed with chakra capable of cutting the target apart. This whirlwind is powerful enough to repel and destroy multiple types of throwing weapons and can even reflect sound waves right back at their original source. Cp cost: 35 Damage: 40 - 50 + chakra modifier. Requirements: Wind Affinity, chakra 20+, Kyodai Sensu Training days: 8 days
Katon: Hosenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique) Multiple balls of fire are sent at the target. (3 on 4 combat...whew.... cool and they said it couldn't be done.)
Chakra suddenly exploded from the trio as their attack commenced. The one on the left pulled the large fan from his back with a frightening speed and began to dash in front of the one in the middle, while the one in the middle gathered his chakra, a powerful wind suddenly emitting from them both as they sped through hand signs. The surface of the water rippled violently but this didn't stop the last of the trio from jumping on high behind his comrades his own hands flying through hand signs as well. Before any of the Kimiko's could make a move to intervene in their complicated gambit, the fan wielding one swung his weapon, sending a slashing wind towards one of Kimiko's clones, though she managed to avoid it with surprising efficiency, it proved to be nothing but a precursor to the true attack.
With a sudden explosion the center Chuunin gave a startling bellow, and with his now raging chakra unleashed a massive wind, like a typhoon force gale, directly at them. Yet this it turned out was not the end of their attack, the Chuunin who had jumped on high suddenly showed his own hand, shooting a mass of smaller fire balls into the wind...and for a moment, the two forces seemed to mingle as two separate entities, before in a thunderous roar they became one, an enormous titanic wave of fire and wind.
The Surface of the pond went golden, as though twilight had come prematurely, the powerful attack causing thick waves of amber to crash against the shore where Sanako and the final Chuunin stood, Sanako looking completely serious, her eyes watching attack with an unreadable intensity.
The Final Chuunin gave a small whistle. "Whoa...I didn't think they'd try to go right for the kill like that...they didn't even give her a chance..."
Sanako though merely switched the reed in her mouth to the other side. "It's not over yet..."
The fiery wind had completely obscured Kimiko and her clones, the three Chuunin looking on with suddenly alarm. Had they gone to far? Maybe their signature attack pattern had been a bit much...even if she was strong enough to take down...down...
Suddenly their eyes widened. The fire Wind was being dispersed, no, ripped apart, though it had done it's job there was something tearing straight through it. But what could- their eyes widened. A tide of fire, it was growing, larger and larger, steam hissing from the lake as the radical flames continued to build. On the other side of building mass of flame, Kimiko and two of her clones that still had chakra to sustain themselves were poised in the Grand Fire ball's stance, each breathing a wreathing flame into the ever expanding projectile, for a single moment it looked as though a miniature sun had sprouted on the lake, the heat from it alone intense, before it launched.
The three Chuunin tried to avoid, but the attack was far to fast, and more importantly far too large. Grand fireball indeed. With a earth shaking explosion, the three Chuunin were consumed by the chakra born inferno, their worlds falling black... It was the exact same attack Kimiko had used against Dash, three Grand fireballs simultaneously...
They'd never stood a chance...

Kimiko was breathing deeply, her clones weak and barely able to remain in once piece. For a moment she was able to take a deep breath before the thunderous recoil from her attack make the surface of the water shudder and burst, intense waves suddenly disrupting the surface. Kimiko's eyes widened her clones dispersed, her remaining chakra flooding back into her body as she fought to stay above the water's surface, fought to stay out of that darkness even as the pond rocked violently...

Her chakra control was able to sustain her, her ever faithful soul keeping her from falling into the water's depths. Now she knew why her mother had wanted her to fight them here...she wasn't just fighting the chuunin. The Chuunin! Kimiko turned her gaze from the rocking waters, to where her adversaries were. She'd held back her attack at the last moment, were they alright? Her eyes widened as she didn't see them on the waters surface, the radical waves most likely having driven them deeper into the water... "No..."

Kimiko only needed to take one look at the water to know that she couldn't swim through it, she might be able swim through it even she put herself to the task, but given that it was so dark in this water, that she would have to try and carry other people, their was just no way. But...but she couldn't just let them drown!
She could only think of one way to do it, but she was so exhausted, and her wounds weren't helping either, would she even have enough chakra? She grit her teeth. It didn't matter, she had to try. She put her hands together as her chakra coursed through her in a tide, a burst of smoke suddenly surrounding her as six splashes were heard from within.
Kimiko fought it. She fought it bitterly. The urge to be overwhelmed with terror. It was so black here, so murky, things drifted in and out of sight on the bottom of the pond, weeds waving eerily The water had finally started to calm however, and that was all she hoped she needed. Each team of two Kimiko's spread out, each one battling the phobia which threatened to grip them. Luckily the Three Chuunin were easy to find, but sure enough they were unconscious, a Kimiko ceasing each arm, everyone of them eager to leave the murky water behind, they struggled to return them to the surface...

Sanako took a step towards the water, her face half surprised. "She...went in into save them."
The final Chuunin raised an eyebrow "Why are you surprised? She certainly seems the type, and besides she did it with-"
"She's afraid of water." Sanako cut him off, causing the remaining Chuunin to look more serious. "She always has been, ever since she was little. Natural, dark bodies of water like this."
"She's...should we-" he started to move towards the water when suddenly six faces burst from the once again calm surface, each pair carrying an unconscious Chuunin between them, and swimming towards shore with vengeance. The last Chuunin had to laugh. Each one looked scared alright, but they were booking towards them at a fair pace, and within moments had reached dry land, dropping the defeated Chuunin trio on the grass, before dispersing, leaving only one soaking wet Kimiko, who collapsed beside the water looking at it with a shell shocked expression.
She couldn't believe she'd just done that...

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Doppelganger Technique) Description: Unlike the normal Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Doppelganger), this Jutsu does not create illusions, but real bodies of the user. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone. This could be very dangerous if the user is low on chakra or makes too many clones: like with Tajƫ Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Multiple Shadow Clone Technique). Kage Bunshin can't be detected by Byakugan. This is because the clones are real bodies with real chakra circulatory systems, identical to the user. Though Uchiha members claim they could tell the difference, the real one also cannot be detected by the Sharingan. However, they can keep track of the original's movements. Because the clones are basically real, they can perform Jutsu and real damage on their target, and can take some hits themselves, being even able to bleed, although they'll still disappear when enough damage has been done, which is usually after one blow or fatal attack. Since the clones are exact replicas of the user, one can use them in combination with many other techniques. Kimiko was taking a deep breath after deep breath. Her chakra greatly depleted, but she still had more than enough to keep her up and about, even her wounds weren't all that bad, just the burns from the Chuunin's attack...that had been no joke. Still, her burns weren't that serious, and she was taking a deep breaths only on account of the pace she'd just been setting. "That...I...the water..." she suddenly fell back and closed her eyes arms spread as she let out another long breath.
"Good Job Kiddo, that was a nice save." She opened her eyes to see her mother staring down at her, the only concious Chuunin standing beside her.
"I...don't think I'm up for another fight..." Kimiko announced, almost sounding apologetic.
Sanako gave a short laugh. "It's alright, you can take a little time to rest, we've got to take your victims to the hospital any way."
Kimiko frowned at her "You were the one who made me fight the-"
"That was a Joke Kiddo." Sanako gave another chuckle. "Come on Saijo, let's get these guys to Gray."
Kimiko opened her eyes slightly surprised at the name. "You...are you related to Atsuki?" he'd been the really quiet boy her in academy class.
Saijo nodded "Yep, that's my kid brother. Any way, rest up. I'll fight you when I get back." They each threw a member of the fallen four over their shoulders, and headed off, while Kimiko merely stared exasperated at that sky.

Kimiko was asleep now, the recent battle and subsequent rescue having drained her. Sanakowas standing over her snoring daughter with a small grin on her face.
"Typical...she fell asleep." she looked sideways. "Sorry, Looks like you'll have to wait a bit if you really want to fight her."
Saijo's elder brother merely gave a smirk. "Heh, no problem. I can wait. Your little girl seems like she might actually be able to give me a good run." he turned around. "But tell me...how strong is she when compared to Xenon Maboroshi?"
Sanako looked sidelong, suddenly more intense. "And just what do you know about him?"
Saijo the elder gave a short laugh. "Only that my little brother thinks a lot of him, and that he's on your daughters team. Not much else." he crossed his arms. "I know that the Maboroshi clan is one born from a rogue nin...that they possess a powerful knack for Genjutsu...is that what his forte is?"
Sanako looked towards her sleeping daughter. "Hard to say. He's a genius for his age, and an undoubtedly talented Shinobi...but..." she gave a short sigh. "He's very difficult to read. I couldn't really tell you how strong he is, nor even what he's most skilled with. I understand his illusions are powerful though. Apparently he put Dash in the hospital."
Saijo looked intrigued now "Really now...that Jounin tough guy right? Heh...he was probably going easy on em...but still." he cracked his knuckles "I'm gonna have to meet this Xenon Maboroshi."
Sanako looked at him seriously "Don't approach him carelessly. He's apparently already killed two of our own shinobi for attacking him without cause. Make sure you don't just come charging at him from an alley, I promise you he doesn't lose any sleep over dead fools."
Saijo's brother smirked "Do any of us? You should know me better than that Madam Sanako...besides," he looked at Kimiko "I still gotta finish testing your daughters power right? Aren't they friends?"
Sanako gave a short smile. "I guess that's what you would call it. Like I said, that Xen's a hard one to read, and the only person who might understand him...well...that man's even harder to read."
"Huh?"
"Forget about it."

Kimiko opened her eyes slowly. She was feeling better now, her chakra replenished...how long had she been out?
"Good morning sunshine." She looked up to see her mother standing over her. "You're not done with you're training yet."
Kimiko sat up quickly looking around. "Those guys, did you get them to the hospital?" She'd been worried they might have drowned or something...or that just maybe she had gone a little to far. Maybe she should have held back more, she'd just thought that since they were giving it their all...
"Don't worry." The deep male voice it seemed was Saijo's older brother, who it seemed was still around. "Trust me when I say they've seen worse. Those four will bounce back...though their pride might be a little damaged after being beaten by a little thing like you."
Kimiko ignored the remark and looked at her mother "But then...you still want me to fight? Should...I hold back more this time..." she had defeated three of the man's friends at once after all...could she really fight him going as she had without hurting him seriously?
Saijo's elder brother merely smirked in reply, answering for Sanako "Don't worry, I'm a bit tougher then my buddies...I think I'll be fine. You use as much strength as you think you need to."
Sanako nodded "Couldn't have said it better myself...are you ready?"
Kimiko gave a small sigh. "Yeah...I guess..." she started walking back out unto the water without even being asked, and Saijo smirked ever wider.
"Heh...I don't know whether to be insulted, or flattered that she's so worried about hurting me."
Sanako merely leaned against the nearby tree again. "Insulted." she said casually, Saijo's brother merely laughed while Sanako continued. "Don't hold back on her...give it everything you've got, I don't really expect to her to win or lose. Just see if you can't get her to go all out."
Saijo's brother nodded heading out unto the water himself. "Okay then Madam Sanako...if you say so." he seemed to be shaking debris from his hands as he walked forward into position across from his far younger opponent, taking a serious stance as he reached into the pouch behind him. "You ready there Miss Kimiko?"
Kimiko was in her half way stance, half way between drawing her blade, and making a hand sign. "Yes." she answered simply.

Ninjutsu- Bunshin no Jutsu: This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. In certain years, Ninja are required to know this jutsu in order to advance to the Genin level. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Unlike Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, thus, they are without substance, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent. Cp cost: 1 pt. per bunshin. Damage: N/A Requirements: Academy students learn it on the academy as a basic jutsu. Training days: Academy. Chakra control check DC: 5 per bunshin. Special: Can create 1 per 5 points in Chakra control. Up to 5 bunshin can be created. *The user assigns a number 1 through 6 to themselves and each of their clones indivudually. The attacker rolls a 6 sided die to see what they hit. The Intelligence check DC to see through an attacker's bunshin is the 1/2 the attacker's int mod + half the attacker's chk mod.
Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) The user utilizes the sheep hand seal or the tiger hand seal and concentrates their chakra to assume the appearance of another person, an animal, or even any object. This is one of the required basic jutsu taught at the Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninjas know this technique. Cp cost: 2 "+1 per minute the jutsu is maintained" Damage: N/A Requirements: Learn in the Academy. Training days: Academy time. Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) This jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. Cp cost: 1 Damage: N/A Requirements: Learn in the academy. Training days: Academy time. Special: Add chakra mod to your Hide check.
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Technique) This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Cp cost: 1 Damage: N/A Requirements: Must have something to replace with. Training days: Academy time. Special: Add chakra mod to dodge bonus. You cannot use this while in a defensive position.
Nawanuke no Jutsu (Rope Escape Technique) A basic technique taught at the Ninja academy. When a ninja is tied with rope, he can undo the knots and escape using this jutsu. Cp cost: 1 Damage: N/A Requirements: Learn in the Academy. Training days: Academy time. Special: Roll an escape artist skill check when using this. Add your chakra mod to the check.
Touei (Reflection) The user fills the blade of any metallic weapon/object they have in their hand and catches some nearby source of light and directs it at the opponents eyes. The chakra amplifies the light caught and expelled causing for a blinding flash of light. Rank: D Cp Cost: 10 CP Damage: None Requirements: Chakra Control 10, Metalic Weapon/ Object Training: 2 days Special: *Successful hits cause the target to loose the use of all sight checks for 1 post after this. If they cannot beat the Fortitude DC for this, their next 3 post suffer half Attack DC. *Grants +5 to any hide check by user in the post immediately after this one unless the user has 2 or more attack turns in which case they must do a hide check in this same post.
Genjutsu Kai: Release The user attempts to break the chakra circulation flow in his body in order to see through a genjutsu. Cp: 10 Damage: N/A Requirements: Chakra Control 10 Training: 5 days Special: Add chakra mod to Will Save
Suiton: Suigadan (Water Release: Water Fang Bullet) This jutsu creates a circle of crushing water spikes around the opponent, making it very difficult to evade or block. Harima Saijo gave a slight grin "Ladies first, Miss Kimiko."
Kimiko's face was serious now. So this guy was tougher than the others? She believed it. She frowned as seemed to idle for a moment. He looked kind of like an older Saijo, now that she thought about it. She could see the resemblance, but he was definitely less reserved and out spoken than his little brother Atsuki. With a sudden flash of hand signs her freshly renewed chakra filled her body, giving her a faint glow as suddenly three more appeared about in a flicker of smoke, just as they were about to mobilize however...

Within a flash Kimiko felt a sudden stab of pain in her shoulder, a slight cry escaping her lips in shock as her three clones exploded into thin air, her chakra returning to her as she looked in shock at her opponent. He was merely smiling, twirling a Kunai around one finger with a devil may care look on his face. "Sorry about that miss Kimiko...but you'll have to do much better than that."

Kimiko pulled the Kunai from her should with a flinch, tossing it into the water with a suddenly serious look on her face. Okay, so he wasn't just bluffing, this guy was definitely in a different league then the other guys. She reached behind her as she grabbed her sword, her eyes narrowing as the man continued to twirl the Kunai about his finger. Still, there was no way she was just going to give up because of a little shoulder wound...she'd show this guy what she was made of...
Sanako was smiling now. Good, as she'd thought, an opponent like Harima was perfect to make Kimiko struggle, to bring out the real fight in her. He wouldn't be beaten by a simple Clone Jutsu, she'd have to start using her talents outside of the box...even then it was unlikely she would win. Still though, this wasn't about Kimiko beating all her opponents...this was about pushing her...and she was sure this battle would do just that...
