A blast of energy shot through him as the chain connected, his body falling to the floor and shifting. clad in only black jeans his limp form lay on the floor, his breathing shallow as the tattoos' on his body changed into a different design. it was nearly ten minutes before a low groan escaped him, Fury pushing himself into a sitting position as he pressed the heel of his hand to his forhead. " What the ******** did you just do to me.." as he looked up at her two things had visibly changed.. his eyes were no longer quite as harsh, and a thick silver chain rested loosely around his neck.

Alana stood up slowly and then walked up to him, nealing in front of him. "I don't know. But you are mine now, and I am yours." She sat down and sighed, hugging her knees to her chest.
"I didn't want this. I didn't know this was going to happen. Half of me is sorry, the other is glad to see you chained."

He was silent for a long moment, lifting the blade she had discarded and handing it to her. " Then finish what you started. i will not be a girls lap dog, i refuse." placing his hand just over his heart he instructed icily. " Put it right here, twist it to the left a bit, and we are both free of this." there was no pleading in his dark eyes, only a quiet exceptance as he waited for her to fallow his order. no regrets, no fear.. and certainly no thought of changing his mind. " you will have what ever revenge your pinning for, take it."

Alana threw the knife to the side and shook her head. "No, I will not kill if I don't have to damn it!" She looked at the demon woman and then back at him. "I will not do this to my mate."
She moved in close to him and before he could move away she planted a kiss on his lips to calm him, ending up to calm her as well.

Startled he froze, responding reflexivly before his intelligence caught up with him. jerking away he stood, stumbling slightly and hitting the wall as he ordered firmly. " dont do that." it was.. gentle.. and what was worse, he had liked it. shaking his head he growled at them, eyes suspicious as he pressed himself against the wall. he sensed he was quickly loosing the chance of her killing him, so he turned his attention to Miri. " I kill children, seduce women and suck the life out of them.. ill keep doing it, end me."
Miri studied the wolf in a mixture of amusement and awe, her tone laughing as she shook her head. " My my, Fury afraid of a female. no, your not escaping this bond so easily.. your hers, so you may as well get used to such things."

"You are mine now Fury." She looked to the ground and stayed where she was. "You can run if you wish, but you'll come back. I've seen it with other Matings."
She suddenly felt very scared, very unsure what to do. She always knew what to do, but now she didn't. She stood up quickly and held in her tears, still not wanting to look like the weakling she had suddenly become. "Leave damn it. Don't come back to this building, and don't you dare kill my mother. If you do I will put you in a hell you will never get free from." A few tears slid down her face and a sob got stuck in her throat. "Once mated, always mated. We are both screwed."
She turned to the demon and pointed to the door. "You should leave as well."

there was a moment of hesitation, his eyes reflecting her pain before he bolted. Shifting to his wolf form he shot out of the building, his dark form vanishing with the falling dusk. a short time later a aggonized howl tore through the air, faint but terrified.. and it faded away without answer.
Miri shook her head, pulling the soft cloak from her shoulders and draping it over Alana. " I cant yet, i came for a reason." pulling a small ring from her pocket she offered it to her, her tone soothing as she looked out the torn door. " he.. that is, this will help find him when you need to." she paused, then lowered her head. " I feel regret to bind him so, but what he was before.. it was evil. he knows nothing but what his maker showed him, it makes me worry how he will survive now that he cant act as he did." she herself was 'evil spawn' as they called it.. her father, though she loved him dearly, was a cruel man.. so yes, she understood him perfectly. the poor b*****d had to relearn how to exist in the world. catching Alana's free hand she squeezed gently, saying in a confedent tone. " I dont know what he did in your time, but i do know that here he needs you. teach him, maybe he can be more than the killer they made him."

Alana turned away and looked at the door, tears running down her face. "This is the first time I've been scared and not knowing what to do since I was a little girl."
She looked up the stairs and shook her head. "I came here to make sure he wouldn't go after my family, and kill of the important one who would keep us all sane. I guess I've accomplished it." She looked back at the woman and sighed. "Why did he bond with me? He didn't do that before and he was always trying to kill us. He didn't even have that chain around his neck. Why now?"

Gregory was sitting on the steps, having witnessed Fury and Alana's bonding. 'I wonder what'll happen when my Alana is born...' He understood the bonds of matings, he truly did. However, if he saw Fury again, he'd make the monster regret the attempted murder of Kara, Alana, AND ripping out his mother's heart.
"Kara," he called, "it's safe."
Pocketing his cellphone, Gregory took the steps. It could've been avoided if he'd only lived in whatever time she'd come from. Fury had killed his other person. Fate was such a b***h.
"Are you okay, Alana?"

Miri studied them quietly, violet eyes thoughtful as she considered the girls question. " Mmm... Im thinking that, because your world was different... and now ours is as well, that you were ment to come back and fix things. Fury is a created creature, his fate has been controled since the hour of his birth by a female other than the fates themselves.. his master would have felt his bond to you, and from their connection, keep him from feeling it himself. this could be their way of repairing what his master has done." pulling her cloak closer around herself she shook her head, pointing towards the door as she added. " that may also mean, you know, that your world has been repaired as well.. Now, i've been too long. i must speak with you, Gregory."

Alana looked up at her father and her knees buckled. She fell to the ground crying. "Daddy, I'm not okay. This isn't what I wanted. I don't know what to do." She cried into her hands, almost curling up into a ball.
Kara waddled down the stairs and looked at her crying child. Her motherly instincts kicked in and she quickly waddled down and found a way to sit on the floor and hold her daughter. "Shhh. Its alright baby, we'll find a way to figure something out."

Once he knew Alana was in good hands with Kara, he nodded to Miri. "Okay," he said, "lets step outside." Squeezing Alana's shoulder, he slipped outside, hoping Miri had followed. He walked stiffly, reflecting his irritation and anger.

Alana grabbed onto her mother tightly but not too tight. She cried and watched her father go out to talk with Miri. "Mama, I don't know if I love him. I don't even understand bonding. It is something you never taught me and something you didn't want to teach me because you didn't want me to go through the same loss you did."
Kara rocked gently back and forth to sooth Alana and sighed, stroking her hair. "Shhh. You'll know in good time. You should protect him from your father though if you do love him. He wants to kill him."

Phantom and Mim walked up to the RCS building and saw Gregory standing outside. "This doesn't look good."
Phantom walked up to Greg and waved. "Whats going on?"

"Mother!" Gregory yelled, shock evident by his expression. He pulled Mim into a ferocious hug, squeezing her against his chest.
"I'm fine," she coughed, "I'm fine, Gregory. Let go! Let go!" She squirmed and pounded her fist against his chest until he finally caved, releasing her.
"I thought...Fury ripped your heart out..." Mim sighed, pulling Gregory into a less-than-forceful hug. "You know me, Gory-bear," Mim cooed, "I'm a tough cookie to crumble."
Gregory visibly cringed at the nickname.
"Um...Phantom, Kara's inside with our...daughter, Alana."
