"Yeah yeah yeah, I'm getting to you." She looked at Bones again before grabbing Sal's arm gently and sending her weak healing powers through him, healing him slowly. "I was worried about you Bones. Dad is getting closer and closer to snapping, and you would be a target that he knows."

Bones lightly shoved Salazar, a teasing gesture. "I could have, that old b*****d doesn't scare me anymore! I know his secret!" He grinned as he clenched his fist. A thick bone protruded from his knuckles as he did so. "If he snaps, he'll have to be put down." Looking at Sal, he asked, "Why are you working for him anyways?"

"I get good dental insurance?" Salazar joked back, enjoying the smooth sensation of Dana's healing energy. "Honestly, it's a very long story and if I told you that would be very counter-productive. Not to mention the voices keep telling me not to. Wow, what a strange sensation it is to be sane."

Dana watched Bones' hand carefully and held in a gasp. She finished with Sal and let him go quickly, it looking like she touched something she didn't want to touch. She picked up Bones' hand and ran her fingers over his hand gently. "I've wanted to be a daddy's girl all my life, but knowing that he is hurting my family, scaring them away, makes me hate him Bones. I don't know what to think of him anymore."

Bones smiled. "I'm not really hurt, Dana." The bone went back into his skin, the skin smooth and unharmed. "It's my power, remember?" Taking Dana's hand into his own, he rubbed soothing circles into her skin with his thumbs. "You love him, you know, he's your father. It's so easy to overlook the terrible things he does because of that..."
"So, Sal, whenever you're ready, do you still want RCS?"

His hand changed back under hers, it feeling strange to her but let it go. There were too many people at the RCS Outerlands building but the Mainlands was the best bet. She wouldn't tell Sal that though, not liking him as it was. She hated easily, like her mother, but it was a trate her father also had. "Bones, I don't care how strong you are, and I don't care if you can beat daddy, I want you to be careful out there." She had gotten attached to him, that much was clear, and it made her worry.

While the two of them had been talking Salazar scribbled down a quick note and shoved it into his pocket. "On second thought Bones. Maybe I should get back to my more...nefarious duties. After all, you know the old saying. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself." Giving his body a quick "Just checking" lookover, he instinctively grabbed for his pack and remembered it was still at the Keep. He also realized he had been unarmmed all this time, Phantom still had his weapons. Fun. "And on that same note, I don't want my pal getting his a** kicked so I'll go on home alone. Thanks for the healing Dana, I'll make sure to repay you, eh one of these days."

Bones waved. "See you around, Sal. Sniff me out if ya need me." Turning his attentions towards Dana, Bones took her hand into his own. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Survived this long, haven't I?" Had the scars to prove it.

Dana looked up at Bones and sighed. "I've watched dad, for years, hurt you. I'm tired of it yet I don't know what to do." She took her hands from him and ran them through her own hair. "s**t. I never thought I would have gotten this attached to you."

"I know what you mean. Up until recently, I've always hated you." Bones grinned, running his fingers through his own unruly hair. It had been getting longer and longer, the sandy blonde bangs hanging over his mismatched eyes. Like a really shaggy dog. "You've changed a lot, you know." He smiled, ruffling her hair. "You aren't as much of a brat as you used to be."

Dana pushed his arm away from her hair and looked back at him. "Maybe having a kid and not able to take care of her hits you pretty hard." She sighed and looked down at her hands, trying to keep her emotions in check. "I can't find her, Riley won't tell me where she is, dad is losing his mind, and I'm alone. I can't do it all, I'm not super woman."

Bones wrapped an arm around Dana's shoulders and grinned. "Then you're really lucky to have found me." Ruffling her hair again, he said, "Yuri's at The RCS building with Phantom. I wasn't there all that long ago and I think that's where you'll find her."Bones nudged her playfully, hoping to lighten her spirits.

Dana looked up at Bones with a soft smile and pushed him back, quickly jumping up on a tombstone. "Thank you Bones." With that she tackled him down to the ground.

Bones fell backwards with an audible 'Oof.' Propping himself up on his elbows, Bones could only arch an eyebrow at Dana quizzically. "You're so weird," he said, "I just want you to know that."
