Ivy and Eve both looked up when Salazar walked into the room.
Eve's face lit up into a smile, and she picked up the picture of the butterfly she colored earlier and ran over to Salazar, giving him a hug. "Thank you Mr.Neri!"
Ivy watched silently and unamused, then went back to trying to read her book.

Salazar looked nervous, but it melted away and he gave her a hug back. "Um, hey." he walked over to where the two had been playing and sat down. "So...what are your names?"

"Ivy." Ivy glanced up at him then went back to the book.
Eve was still hugging him, and said playfully. "I'm Eve!"
Ivy then remembered what Grandpa said about it being rude to read while someone was talking to you. She assumed this applied to other people, too. So she put the book down and pulled up her knees to her chest, hugging them and looking at Salazar.

Salazar smiled at how loving Eve seemed to be, though Ivy seemed a bit cold. Probably takes after her mother. "What are you reading?" He asked Ivy, patting Eve on the head in a cute way.

Eve laughed when he patted her on the head, she liked that. Mr.Neri was really nice!
Ivy's eyes lit up a bit and she reached over and picked up the book, reaching out and offering it to Salazar. She blushed a little bit. It was an elementary school level book on basic health. "I... I'm trying to read it." Ivy lowered her eyes. Her eyes and eyelashes looked exactly like Kirai's. Her voice grew quieter. "Grandpa taught me... but it's hard sometimes." Her face looked sad and her shoulders slumped down as she looked down at the pile of books she still had difficulty reading.

Sal nodded and smiled. "Here, I'll help you with some of the things you have trouble with k?" So, for the next few minutes he helped ivy get through the book, as well as watching Eve draw and color things. After a while he told them he would be right back and went to go talk to Warwick again. "Alright, I give."
Warwick gave a smile and handed Salazar a bottle of pills. "Good. Very good. Now, they have a few months before we begin combat training so why don't you take them off my hands for a bit? Go do fatherly things."
Salazar nodded happily. "Wait, what do you mean combat training?"
"Simple stuff, how to use a weapon and such. In the world we live in these are essential skills."
He couldn't help but agree. he and the doctor discussed a a few more things before Salazar came back over to the play area. "Hey girls, I was about to leave and I was wondering if you wanted to come along and see the city?"

Eve raised her hands up and cheered, running over and instantly grabbing onto Mr.Neri's hand.
Ivy looked back between her sister and Salazar. "But...Grandpa said we're not suppose to-" She stopped. If Mr.Neri had just been talking to Grandpa, then it was probably okay. Ivy was hesitant, but she put down a new book she had started on and walked over to her sister. She stood on the other side of Mr.Neri, then reached up to hold his hand. Her other small hand she lifted to her mouth, a little bit scared and concerned after what happened the last time they had left their play-area. Looking up at him, she asked quietly, "Is Grandpa okay with us going?"

Salazar nodded and smiled at the two. "Yes, he said it was okay to go. Come on, we'll go and get some dinner or something." Taking them both by the hand. he led them out of the Asylum, walking off towards the Hallow Village.
