The cold air around Hawk had slowly faded away, but the fury was still lashing just under his skin.. now it just had a target. Latverious.. " Only the weak would dare underestimate a enemy.. This Nosferatu is very clearly ignorant. War is won in the will.. numbers come and go." he used the term Nosferatu like a insult, his voice little more than a whisper but so easily heard by the others. He paused, turned his gaze to Michael.. and actually smiled a bit. " It is no hidden fact that i detest these vampiric cattle, is it Michael? Kago and I can handle ourselves.. but you and Mercy must protect Banshee."

Banshi glanced at James before turning her attention back to them. "The strong protecting the strong only leads into long term dwindling. Protection of me, until if necessary, is a waste of effort. Besides, none of you have seen me ever have to really fight before, not to anywhere near 50% of my abilities... I reccomend to all of you us pushing and preserving with crusniks under the age of 500 years specifically in mind."

Banshi thought about it. After a few moments, she said, "I'll track down the mimic personally." Walking over by Hawk, now she understood why he was so upset. Although she did not show it, she had known about this case for a while, but the fact more and more killings were occuring, at a noticably alarming rate, it now had to be taken care of. Placing her hand on his shoulder, Banshi promised reassuringly, "If, by chance, this is no mimic at all... I'll do whatever needs to be done, so be rest assured it shall be taken care of. Alright?" Of course, if by some odd mishap this killer was not a crusnik, she would simply kill them, no questions asked. But, Banshi was not afraid to show, she thought it at this point to be unlikely to be any other sort of creature.

"Michael, the fact you are suggesting this means that it seems to worry you. It takes more than one person to fight a war, but it only takes one person to hunt a man." Banshi said calmly, turning towards Michael. "Understand, this mimic, if not a crusnik, is hunting down humans, as was said by Hawk. We need to take care of this now, so we don't lose our human allies... It took hundreds of years to build this trust." She wasn't trying to destroy Michael' arguement, she got what he was getting at... but at the same time, she knew him well enough to tell what he was thinking. "If this is being over rated, this murderer... then the last thing we need is for me to allow us to spend too many of our resources chasing after smoke." Her voice was kind, understanding, and calm.

Hawk gave a nod of agreement to Michael's words, his expression set. " I will protect Mercy and put her through defensive training while you two handle these things, it will leave Kago to what she does best.." killing anything that dared get near them. he did not show it, but he had a soft spot for the amazon. though she was younger, she held the same ruthless edge he himself did. " With Michael's plan it is more likely to work.. No offense ment, but please consider this Banshee. this thing is not greedy, not insane.. let Michael and his gilded tongue try to meet with this thing."

"Aye." Mike said simply, turning back to Hawk. "What can you tell me about him? Particularly victimology and last known location." If he could get down who and where he liked to kill then tracking him would be simple. If, of course, was the operative word.

Michael sighed and started grabbing his things. "Calm yourself Hawk. Or at the very least direct your anger towards something other than the pews. They're very old. I'll go check out the village, see what the locals have to say." He popped the fedora Banshi had given him on his head and turned to face her. "I hope you don't mind me leaving so soon. But like you said, this needs to be addressed quickly. I'll be back shortly." A short hug was exchanged and then he was walking down the aisle, stopping at where James was to say. "Come on, you're with me."

James looked at him blankly before grunting and grabbing his own things. "Oh boy, just like old times." He muttered, following Mike out.

Kago stood from the alter, looking at Banshi as she asked calmly. " Do we trust any deal this Viktor makes, Pup?" No one was sure why she called Banshee that, in truth not even she herself knew.. perhaps it was though she was much younger, she appeared physically older.. and felt a kinship to her. Banshee had given them facts.. and while that was good, Kago had always been more of a gut-instinct kind of woman. if Banshee had faith in the deal, Kago would not argue.
