Angel shook her head "No Darius. You would still have the same reaction." She sighed and walked to the door leaning to it looking downstairs then at Jenny's door. "Darius...if you look in Jenny's eyes what do you see? Honestly tell me"

Darius sighed. "I dunno...fake happiness for a while. Just smiling when she feels it's appropriate, but I remember one day..it was her birthday and a bunch of guy wanted to play or whatever and Gabe went over and the other little guys left her alone after that...she did look..I dunno...that look you had before we were married that you sometimes have when you're...like...super happy. Why do you ask?"

Angel walks back over to him, then looked into his eyes. "Its the same look I give you, and its the same one she has for Gabe." She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. "Darius, she loves him..and you know it and are just worried if she will get hurt by him."

Darius kissed her back. He held her waist gently. "I love you too and I do believe you are right most of the time. Stop being so modest." Darius said smiling some. "But he is absolutely not allowed in her room with the door closed.

-The next morning after Angel and Darius had a long talk about Jennifer and Gabe-
Jennifer sneaked out of her room and downstairs to go see Gabe. She bit her lip as she stopped on the bottom stair, tiptoeing even though she was already as silent as death, and made it all the way to the couch.
