To be fair I bet you there not going to make any changes. This is probably like most corporate buyouts, they own it in name and get some profit off it. Other than that the studios and people that make all the decisions regarding characters, story, etc will most likely remain the same do to the success they've already been having (especially of the last few years.)

Now I have to go stock up on Deadpool, just in case.
I shed a tear, I truly did... But I don't trust Disney enough to think that NOTHING will change.
If friggin' Mickey Mouse or that fat-dog-thing Pete suddenly enter the X-Men, I'm done. There'd be rioting of nerds in the streets...

Anyways, trying to get my character involved beyond hanging around at the academy, hoping to join the alpha's mission rather soon since they're looking as if they may be leaving to help you Omega's out of the mess you seem to of gotten yourself into... Now I just need to find a way to get there (should his little com message get through). Though that shouldn't be to hard considering he's an inventor of sorts... can cook up something for transport =D ----------- As for Disney, as much as I hate them, they're far from stupid when it comes to business. Lets face it, Marvel as of the first spiderman/x-men movie coming out a few years back have been incredibly successful. This just looks like Disney trying to get a piece of the pie, I really doubt they're stupid enough to screw with the creative teams that brought them to this point (though if they fire the people that did X3 and the ones that where responsible for Spiderman 3 then I'd be totally cool with that... I mean how do you ******** up venom?)

kisuke0sama Oh I so have to have Everett bugging Toolbox. Get ready to meet the guy who accidentally breaks tech with a thought Me thinks I'll have to create some sort of generator field that cancels out magnetic waves around my devices if you do then xD
Or something to that extent. Not that he'd know it right away of course, but if your abilities became an issue he wouldn't be left with much of a choice.

can that even be done? I mean...if you block magnetic energy then you're in a sense blocking gravity and other properties from your objects as well.

Mariana Saravan can that even be done? I mean...if you block magnetic energy then you're in a sense blocking gravity and other properties from your objects as well. With 10 points in intelligence why would it be hard to believe? About as logical as having the ability to create a teleportation machine or inter-dimensional travel, etc. The beauty of the comic world, not everything needs to make perfect sense according to our laws of physics.
Toolboxes powers are rather simple, he can discern the exact physical makeup of devices and creations and process them through his mind in a manner that allows him to re-piece them back together in a new form (allowing for quick adaptation should all his s**t suddenly be destroyed essentially). If you want a more logical explanation think of not as canceling out magnetic fields but rather countering strong bursts of magnetism, detecting fluctuations near it, and emitting a resonance of equal force of the opposing polarity. This would allow for it to function under normal physics. Though I imagine as a starting character whatever he came up with would be bulky when he first built it and require sufficient power depending on "who's" magnetic manipulation he was trying to protect his things from.

NONONONONONONONONONONO!!!!
That gave me the jibblees. and not the good jibblees either. Classic Disney stuffs good. Pixar is good. but if the have a hannah montana comic under marvel's name stan lee would roll in his grave if he were dead.

Hmm...wouldn't that be suggesting that you'd have a way to build something stronger than a mutant's natural abilities?

kisuke0sama Hmm...wouldn't that be suggesting that you'd have a way to build something stronger than a mutant's natural abilities? Wouldn't your powers suggest the same to mine then? It can be seen both ways. Not to mention it wouldn't stop you from throwing s**t at him, just from one shotting everything he has and making him essentially nothing more than a waste of space. Just as well, they wouldn't be stronger than your powers since they still couldn't lift or manipulate metal objects in any way shape or form, rather just keep them (only a small group, not everything obviously, most likely only things within a very very close radius, few feet max) from being manipulated. Sort of how a shield against lasers isn't necessarily more powerful than lasers, it's just to keep people from dying.

One more thing before I take off for a while. In addition to the whole counter power argument, it doesn't really matter much anyways since we're not enemies *shrug*

Is no one else pissed that Thor is put on a mega hiatus now? Disney doesn't want to make it and any movies Marvel does make will be more kid friendly, thus creating more PG movies, thus creating the CCA all over again! I'm not happy and I hope they stick to their promise of staying away from the comic books.
