Was she hearing correctly? The Sniper Hero was protecting Melethia? What had happened back in FEFGA's house? Isadora was confused as to what had happened.

At first, she thought that Melethia was being brainwashed. However, it seemed there was something else that she did not know. If Melethia was not brainwashed and Shento was going to protect her, siding to the side of the Heroes.

Having no time to dilly-dally, Isadora noticed a spear lying besides the morph. Isadora used her sword to flip the spear up and caught it. She aimed her spear at the Sniper's shoulder. It seemed that the sniper was preoccupied with the opponents before him. Isadora flung the spear.

Blossom reached Leon just as the Silence took effect... and Leon was still alive. She lifted Vezra in her hands and attempted to slice the roots of the vines; to try to use the huge, heavy blade to cut him free would be suicide. To release him from the root of the magic, though, would be a step. She turned her eyes up to Domanova once she had made quick work of the task and lifted Vezra up towards his nose.

How long will the Silence last...?

"I'd ask... if you had any last words, but... you can't talk," Blossom said. Though her words were mournful, her eyes were angry. How dare he try to kill her friend. How dare he!

"If this is how you wish to go... I'd be more than happy to oblige," she told him, though her hands quaked just slightly on the blade's hilt.

"Wasn't it your goal, your intention, your MOTIVATION to kill Mika?"

Neros backed down from this suddenly aggressive display. He was too exhausted to deal with anything right now. Yes, he had meant to kill Mika, or at least help Vika get back at her, but Madriana was protecting Mika. Neros couldn't figure it out. He couldn't figure anything out. He just wanted to leave, make the headache stop, go to sleep somewhere and forget about it all.

"You're worthless."

That stung. She spoke truly. He was worthless. He'd spent his whole life believing that. He tucked his wings in, observing timidly much like a reprimanded child as Vika turned her back on him. For a moment, Neros wanted to go back to being just ordinary Soren, who could at least pretend to have some worth. No quintessence control, no manipulation of reality, none of that, just some dabbling in magic and research.

"But...you've been a lot of help, and we did what we came to do...we're done here."

As she wrapped an arm around him, Neros twitched away, head low, hair hanging like a curtain for his face. He mumbled something in agreement and a current of wind blew away from the battle. Neros pumped his wings, letting the current lift him, yet he felt terribly heavy all of a sudden. He tried not to falter in the spell nor in his flight, and yet it was difficult, very difficult...

He flew awkwardly, hardly even awake now.

Shento narrows his eyes as he looked at Ziaram. This man was intent on getting into his head. But he couldn't allow that. Shento decided to cease interference from him for a while. Reaching into his pack, he pulled out one of his five remaining light seals and flung it at Ziaram, trapping him in a field of light. He still didn't know what had happened to the sixth one he had, but it didn't matter. That was one person out of the way for now. He didn't want to kill somebody from his world yet, if he didn't have to.

Having done that, Shento jumped into the air. A spear that was thrown flew passed him. He charged up to thirty percent output and fired, and made it a partial scatter shot, splitting it into 6 arrows, three toward the snoiper, three toward the paladin.

Sindar looked over the chaotic battlefield. He was itching for a fight, but was unsure who was fighting who. Searching each group from atop a foot hill, he noticed a few people; The young female mercenary, Blossom, the nomad trooper who's name he hadn't got, and the knight who also hadn't given his name. Still, he could tell they were good people and charged down the hill with his axe drawn.

"SINDAAR YORUU!!" he yelled, swinging the axe around.

Unfortunately, the young fighter wasn't paying attention and tripped, causing him to fall forward and roll downhill like a wrecking ball.

Ledreak Bonqueesha

"WHOA YOW b***h TITS ON ******** PARADE!" Ledreak shouted, stopping his slash at Ephraim, and swinging his lance behind him to bop his fiendish attacker, maybe cut them up a bit in the process. "Ah tell it enough! NO MESSIN' WITH THA 'FRO!"

If those swings missed, because he surely felt nothing being forced against graver, he had a backup plan. He lifted the lance above his head, and said "Take this, it's a freebie." and dropped it. Whether Adele took it or not, it would get her off of him. The black circles pulsed once more, and the smoke ran to the ground, the lance going with it. It slammed into the Earth!

Ledreak turned, faced his oppressor, and took his lance after digging it out of the ground. He looked pissed, firing black smoke in every direction, up, down, sideways, diagonal... There's no other direction for it to flow to. And Graver looked as if it were in about five places at once it was vibrating so much.

Oh, so the prostitute could fight, could she? Never really occurred to him that a simple prostitute could fight, let alone use magic! Well, prostitutes seemed more like the daggers type, so this was definitely a surprise. Goodness, was it that much of a problem in Eyris, that prostitutes followed their masters into battle? Might be a good idea to bring that up to the right people in the future. The Watch or something? Yeah, sounds like a plan. Can't have the youths being influenced by such unsavory figures, that just won't do.

Now, he'd have kept on going, but a giant flame dragon began hurtling towards him, and one can't very well think about destroying prostitution when you're in mortal danger, now can you? So, he ran forward in a diagonal direction, allowing him to advance but still get around the construct. But, he wasn't planning on the rush of heat from the dragon, a huge oversight.

Seeing as playing the range game would only get him singed, he lowered his bow for now, preferring mobility to damage. So, at the bottom of that steep hill, he saw Ed, raging as much as before, making her way up to the woman of the night. Wait, she's got... she's growing? What in the... oh goodness, I'd rather not know what made that happen. So, while he entertained his mind with the oddity of this woman's nature, he advanced, planning on taking out the scantily clad mage alongside the frenzied swordswoman.

Leon had dropped, from being held literally up in the air from the constricting vines. The watchman inhaled in exhaled in large breaths, all the while shaking terribly all over. Fear had settled in once again, and it would take him a while to snap out of it.

He could have been CRUSHED and impaled. He could have lost everything because he was a reckless fool whom thought Domanova was defenseless. What kind of officer would he be if he'd died there?! What kind of person would he be... if Blossom hadn't saved him? Nothing but a fool.

Right now, he was in no condition for battle, as his mind was still covered in unspeakable terror for what almost happened. He could have died, truly died...

His heart beat rapidly, his eyes bulging. Leon was for the most part in a state of shock over his very near-death experience. He'd never come that close before. Never...

He was so out of it, he didn't even notice Anri try to comfort him by coming to his side once again.

Victoria had rushed closer now, ready to cast the spell again if necessary... wondering if the warriors would take advantage of Domanova's silence. She saw Leon not budging, understandable, he must have been terrified. Unlike the watchman, she was patient... waiting.

John saw the oncoming arrows and either side stepped most or effectively dodged them except for one that nailed him right in the stomach. John broke part of the arrow and yelled and hid behind a tree real quick to think out his options.

Fa was punching and letting light balls fly everywhere killing morphs left and right. Almost seeing no end to the morphs around her Fa decided to take a little brake and sit in a nearby tree and rest for a minute.

Arch-Druid Mika

Mika got up from her spot with Madriana. "I can't lay here.. I promised I'd fight. I told Loki I would help him... And now I have to! And these people... they're slaughtering them... The heroes that Loki brought back? They're nothing in the face of these murderers. These people will stop at nothing to just... upset people."

"Motive?" The morph asked without getting up.

Suddenly Mika turned and looked at her. Suddenly something didn't fit... She was right. Motive...? Why did they do this? Why were they muderers?

"...Because." She answered. "Madriana, you... You tried to hurt them." She said quietly. She felt as if she were admitting her own guild too. "You took their leaders. And you tortured them. You did that for no reason other than you wanted power... And because Granny said so..." she stopped. Was it... Her grandmother's fault? Was that why this whole thing started? No, Granny couldn't have known... She blinked... Something... didn't fit.. The Eyris citizens... Were they innocent...?

No they can't be. That wouldn't make sense. They must have done something to Loki too. She needed proof. She needed proof before she'd let these thoughts get any further.

"No." Madriana answered. "I am good. I do what I am told. I must have had a reason."

Mika looked away.

"Hey, yo, greenie! Tell ya buddy ta stop shootin' at us, he's bein' a real JACK OFF."

"Buddy..? I don't even KNOW this person" he didnt' even know who was helping him aside from the fact that it was a range user. Never the less, whoever was helping, was provoking his opponent more. Ephraim stood straight, holding his spear in the same manner as Ledreak, observing his surroundings. "Hey!" Ephraim shouted, hoping to catch the attention of the sniper, archer, whatever. "If you know what's good for the both of us, stay out of this!"

With that said, the sudden approach by afro dude caught him off guard for a split second. The prince raised his spear and turned just in time to block the sudden attack. The force landed against his shaft, numbing his body just a little, another attack came from behind and it landed a fairly large gash through his armor, but it wasn't enough to cause a severe blood shed. Good thing he had that protecting him otherwise he'd lose his head.

"AFROSLAYER!"

Ephraim looked up, spotting a girl with..an axe? Well, least this can be used to his advantage. While Ledreak was now distracted by Adele, Ephraim took this chance to strike back. He stood up from his knees and charged toward Ledreak and...

"I have you!' his grasp tightened around his spear and he forced it through Ledreak's left side. It shattered part of the armor but because of that, no real harm was done, a little blood dripped out and onto the head of the steel spear but that was it. Ephraim cursed, how could he miss? He had the chance and he missed.

Sage Domanova

PostPosted: Thu Jul 02, 2009 12:11 pm

"Not quite."

Domanova directly cast an Elfire at Blossom, the Silence wearing off!

"Leon!" Aidan knelt down to help the watchman. He was in shock..."Leon, snap out of it!!"

He grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him lightly--just as Lyn had done, the day the Fire Dragon had nearly took his own life...

Blossom didn't quite turn as she heard a familiar shout, still facing Domanova. To turn away now would make him be able to get an easy blow on her, even if it was to just take Vezra from her or knock her over... "Leon, are you all right?" she asked as she held the point of Vezra's sword under Domanova's chin. She didn't draw blood yet, but it was dangerously close.

Until he spoke. "Not quite."

Blossom screamed and held the blade before her to absorb the attack. Most of the Elfire funneled into the blade, lighting two of the runes ablaze, but some of the flames caught her arm and face, and Blossom was sent tumbling down the hill. She coughed and managed to get herself back up once she reached the bottom. The burn was on her forehead, reaching halfway down her left eyelid, forcing her to keep that eye closed to make it hurt less, and her left arm had a nice burn around the elbow, but... she was alive. And she could still fight. She panted as she pulled herself to her feet and started to approach, then paused.

Power in the sword...

"Say your prayers, though Loki probably won't listen!" she shouted before flinging the sword in a wide arc. An arcing blast of power sliced out of the sword and right for the Sage, the two runes on Vezra fading.

Deborah made her way through the battlefield, it was easy. These morphs were weak, and easily beaten. They were disgraces to soldiers everywhere. Eventually, she made her way over to two people facing off against a man with... very large hair.

Seeig the man's attack, there was no way that the white boy would be able to get passed it. The guy was bleeding and worn out, way more the the black fellow. Deborah flung into action. She raced over, and jumped into the air. While in the air, she spun her spear around and was able to deflect all jabs from the impressive lance, saving the white boy. Obviously, she had the upper hand, what with the surprise attack and all, but she had no other choice. "Dontcha know ya shouldn't pick on da white boys? Dey nevah satisfy the fighting crave."
