Yogurt Man Don't empty your tank, people will grab from it regardless. I was pissed about the captcha rubbish too, but once you get used to it, it's not nearly as bad. It is a bit of an inconvenience, but that's life these days -_-; I've no idea what awesomolocity codes are, though. (Just looked it up, I think I know now.) One thing I did notice, and made mention of was "You know something's wrong with booty grab when you see Manny-Kun's tank ended and it wasn't a full game" Damn. I do understand your anger, though. Thanks for your understanding and support. Yup Manny-Kun's tank is probably the best tank of all. It always used to fill up. And now it doesn't. Same with HellsBooBoo. The awesomolocity link is this: Harvey’s glow status:  It used to do two things: (1) shows when a tank is glowing; and (2) is a clickable link to the tank for grabbing. The problem now is if you click it to grab, you play the tank but the amount granted is zero. I'm hoping the dudes who wrote the code can tweak it to work again. I'm waiting to hear back.

Gaia messed with glow times and the tank owners went on strike. The tank owners emptied their tanks and refused to buy any more fish. The solidarity and spirit was just amazing. Finally one gaia artist scapegoat came forward and apologized, saying it was a mistake. Yeah right. And the nerf was un-nerfed. But there's a huge history of nerfing. This is just the latest in a long history of jerking us around. It's a real bait and switch game. Gaia sells one thing and then changes it after they get our money. They think we're stupid and don't see what they're doing. Giesta 3nodding Harvey, I feel for you man. Thanks buddy. I appreciate that. Now that the shock has worn off I'm starting to think about possible rational strategies. So apparently are a lot of other people. I see two major strategies by tank owners: (1) Bump more, in defiance of gaia's wish to kill BG, and in support of fellow tank owners. (2) Empty tanks to protest, cause if there are no good tanks even the selfish non-bumping grabbers will suddenly support us. Like they did last time we did a strike. So far I'm going with Strategy 1 -- bump more.

There are still a lot of unanswered questions out there, one being why fish can be so ancient and still be alive and why some still glow and others dont?
A tank is nice but you can easily run into a lot of Gold trying to stock your tank with the best glowing fish. sweatdrop

There was a programming glitch that caused some fish to live way past their scheduled date of death. Those are called "Immortal" fish. Panagrammic the developer posted a note Sunday morning saying gaia will soon go through all the tanks and be sure to "clean out" (kill) the Immortal fish. I call it The Big Kill. Lots of good tanks will be empty. I think booty grab will soon disappear altogether. http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/gaia-aquarium/aquarium-changes-proposals-for-future/t.70093137_1/"Normal" fish live their allotted life span and then they die. If a person with normal dead fish enters their tank, there's a notice that the fish died. You click the notice and you get a fish drop. If a person with a normal dead fish fails to enter their tank, the dead fish turn into ghost fish. With the price of fish so high, it's impossible to earn enough gold to get your money back before the fish die. When my dolphins die I'll bring old nerfed used semi-good fish out of Barrett's tank. When they die I'll be done with the game. I suspect many other players will do the same. So... grab as much booty grab gold as you can because soon the game will be gone.
