Lighttt gave Kaori and smile that say "I do care about you..". "Your welcome. Hope you enjoy!" Lighttt said.
"Well, is it your opinion to see if your funny? I think your funny...and I like your sarcasm.." Misa asked. Wind blew through her hair once again. She loved it. She pulled her hair back behind her ears once the wind has died down.

Kaori nodded towards Meghan as well, smiling in return as she finally drew back her hand. Her face was still red, but she made herself ignore it. She rose from her crouched position, and stood fully, stretching her arms over her head for a moment. Then she glanced towards Sai, wondering what he was thinking, until Lighttt distracted her again. She blushed again as she saw his face and then looked back to the water flowers she was still holding. "Uh... how long do they last?" she asked, expecting them to fade after a certain time. It had to be taking up at least some of his energy, right?"
Kai frowned slightly, ignoring her for a moment as he reached up to his head and pried the small dragon off of him. Then he held Kei gently in the crook of his arm instead. Kai glanced back towards Misa, still frowning. How could somone like sarcasm? This girl... confused him, to say the least.

"It can stay like that for preety long. Anyway with that it does not even spend a cent of my energy. It mostly depends on how much water I use." Lighttt explained.

He looked up, feeling someone's eyes on him. He saw Kaori look away and clenched his teeth slightly. He really did want to be with her, he wasn't going to lie, but he didn't want to tell all these people here; especially with her brother there.

Kaori nodding silently, staring at the liquid flowers. She held them loosely, feeling almost like she wasn't gripping them all. She frowned slightly at his words. He wasn't using energy? She knew she expended her energy when she used her fire manipulation, she had the quiet remnants of a headache to prove it. Maybe with practice she'd learn to conserve her energy better as well? She sighed at the thought and glanced at Kei and Kai before staring back curiously at the flowers. Then she frowned softly again and glanced back at Sai quickly. She realized then that she kind of wanted to talk to him, but another glance around at everyone quieted her again.

Lighttt had enough of all the silent around here and he saw something..It made have a tear drop. He wiped it and refocus. He hoped know one saw his had a tear drop. He forgot about the silent stuuf and stood there staring abensently. It was really creepy.
Misa smiled and said, "Are you going at answer my question?"

Meghan clenched sat down, her hands in her lap as her back faced Kai and Misa. Glad she couldn't see it, Meghan clenched her fists at Misa's question. He doesn't have to answer... why are you forcing him to answer? she thought, a little frustrated. Meghan usually was blunt and sometimes considered rude, but she didn't want to snap at anyone around her, becuase she knew they all were a little tense.

Kai stuck his free hand in his pocket, other arm still supporting the dragon that now seemed to be asleep against his side. He sighed quietly, looking away from Misa. "Look, I honestly don't care," he mumbled, looking up towards the sky.
Kaori frowned and suddenly stood, looking around at everyone with an almost tired expression. "I'm going to my room to put these away," she waved the water flowers gently in the air and then went on. "After that... I don't know. I'll see you guys later." With that, she walked over towards Kai, murmured, "watch Kei for me?" and then exited the courtyard.
[Next post in girl's dorms. Then somewhere yet to be decided. >>;]

"Sayonara, Kaori-chan," he said to her, before she left. He watched after her, then sighed, looking down at the floor. He looked up at Meghan, her right side and some of her back visable from where he stood, staring at her absently.
"See ya around, Kaori-chan!!" she smiled, waving good bye to her. She smirked to herself, listening to Kai's response, as she watched a grasshopper hop from the blades of grass. A cool breeze shifted her hair, tossing it to the side, as Meghan didn't notice.
He looked away as her hair shifted, wincing slightly. He looked at the ground instead, his fists clenched.

Kai blinked as Kaori approached him, but nodded slowly at the request. "Of course..." he said as he watched her disappear. He shook his head softly, shot a glance towards Misa and Lighttt, and then spun away from Misa. He crossed towards Meghan and crouched in front of her, shifting Kei in his grasp to not disturb him. "Hey," he said softly. "Haven't see you in a while. How've you been?" He glanced curiously at Sai's actions, but dismissed them, once again deciding he didn't wish to be nosey. Instead he let his eyes settle on the sleeping dragon he held.

She looked up at him and smiled. "I've been good... but, it hasn't been that long... as it?" she asked, thinking it was only about yesterday, at least. "In anycase, how about you, hmm?" she asked, looking at Kei for a moment, before absent-midedly looking over Kai's shoulder at a few scattered flowers in the distant.

Kai laughed slightly, rubbing the back of his head. "Ah, I guess you're right. Just, a lot has happened since then, mainly regarding those two and whatever prophecy is supposed to happen," he said, nodding towards Misa and Lighttt. Then he shrugged. "I've been ok... Kaori saved my a** in a fight," he added with a nervous laugh. "Ice doesn't do well against flame." He noticed her gaze was focused past him and turned around, watching the flowers dance across the grounds silently.
[Hehe, that's fine. I'm now doing chemistry as I type. xP]

She laughed. "She saved your a**?" she repeated, finding it a little funny. She nodded. "Yeah, a lot has happened, hasn't it? I'm not sure why, but Misa is just..." she started, trying to find the right words, "I don't know... different, I guess. I dont' mean different by how we know already, it's just her aura, i think. I'm sorry if that was a little confusing," she sighed, "I don't think I know what i'm saying..." she trailed off, her hair rustling slightly again.

Kai laughed and nodded. "Yeah, she proved fire against fire works a lot better than ice does." He quieted for a moment as he took in her other words, glancing towards Misa just for a second before looking back. He nodded again, frowning slightly. "I've never seen anyone else like her... And I'm not so sure that's a good thing," he said quietly, making sure Misa wouldn't hear.

"Ice melts from fire," she teased, winking. "Well, being different is a good thing, but for some reason, she' a different type, right?" she asked, making sure. "I think you're right though... I'm not sure whether to become friends, or stay away from her..."
