((Sorry guess I'm denser than I thought.))
Azael lunged at the orb. She managed to catch in her arms and rolled up to her feet coming up short in a far corner of the room. She carried it back to Varnis and set it down before him. She didn't know what to say it was such a shock, she didn't even know if she should know any of this let alone have been here at all. She kneeled before Varnis. "Umm... I know you don't know me but I'd like to help you." She spoke quietly to him as her thoughts began to tumble into what she wanted to say. "I will swear it upon anything you wish, by any oath you deem suitable." She continued as strength began to seep into her voice.

Erik sensed a huge magical disturbance. "Impossible...NO!" Erik knew what was happening. "What do they think they're doing?!" He yelled as he rushed towards the source.

((This will be an EXCELLENT plot development if I'm allowed to go through with this. It will make Varnis totally epic, let's just say that.))

Sven brought his hand up to pull a cigarette out from between his lips. A plume of smoke hovered in the air before his face before it rose up towards the sky and disappeared. His terrible habit was a nuisance. He hated the taste, and the smell, but by god, he needed them. He flicked the cigarette to the ground below, his body hovering a few yards in the air. Sven brought a hand up and brushed it through his messy hair, sighing at how apathetic the past few days have been. He dropped to the ground, landing with unique grace before he began walking.

He sensed the enemy before it arrived, but showed no acknowledgement that they were there. A scar appeared in the air before him, but only for a second before disappearing. His inherited nihonto blade hung at his hips, swaying gently as he walked. To use his blade would be a waste. There was a 'twang' noise as a bow fired an arrow towards him, only to have the arrow burst into pieces before Sven's face. A slight grin formed on the young man's lips before the action began. The tree was cut in half by some invisible force and a man yelped and jumped. That's when the fun started.

Five soldiers, from the fire nation, made their way out of the woods and surrounded Sven. One rushed towards Sven, only to be taken by surprise as Sven's foot raised into the air and connected this his jawline. The soldier was sent flying backwards, unconscious before he struck the ground. Two more ran at Sven. The young man twirled on the balls of his feet and evaded a swipe of one soldier's sword and quickly pressed his knuckles deep into the man's abdomen, directing some of his powers into the punch to make it stronger. The soldier was sent flying into a tree. As for the third soldier, Sven grabbed the pummel of his blade and drew it just enough to deflect the attack, let the blade go completely back into the scabbard, and punch the soldier in the face with enough force to atleast break his nose.

There was no point in killing these incompetent losers. Sven's smirk widened as the remaining soldier's began to whimper in fear, soon running off with their tails between their legs. He couldn't help but laugh! It was too amusing. Sven immediately began walking aimlessly again, wondering where he would be led to next.

((... Was waiting for The Sweet Tigris to post, and sorry for ignoring your character for a while Pocket...))

Night had came upon the city, as the warships docked at the shore alongside the city. Large fires gave off light for miles around the ships. Tools and shouts could be heard off in the distance as tents where being set up, as the troops where marching off the ships.

Alcorve was passing in his study as his guards stood at the door. Markis was just sitting in one of the chairs looking out the window. "Looks like they are waiting for morning." He turned and looked at Alcorve. "I don't care... We must keep guards on high alert." Alcorve replied as he looked at Zanio who was just leaning against the table. "Then why don't you go and attack now?" Zanio looked at them both. "We can use the cover of the night to take them out one by one." Alcorve frowned at the thought. "I'd rather stay here, and have the defense of the walls, and the archers pick them off as they approach the wall. These walls have survived many assaults, I doubt they can destroy these." Alcorve leaned on the window sill, and looked at the battle ships at the shore. "If you wont then, I will." Walking off to the door, Zanio opened it, and looked back at the two. "I have lived off the land in a long time, and have learned it is smarter to attack the foe first than wait for them to attack you." Walking out of the room, Markis and Alcorve sighed. "You are right... He does have a lot to learn." Markis looked out the window as Alcorve had one of his guards follow Zanio to make sure he didn't do anything stupid.

A woman sat in the corner of the tavern Halo walked into. The only light came from the fireplace, making her face almost glow as the flames danced in the fire place. Lifting her glass, she spun the wine around in it. Taking a sip of the wine, she placed the glass back down on the table. Pulling her hair out of her face, a small scar could be seen over her left eye. "Halo..." Her voice was as beautiful as a goddess's, and could be heard perfectly over all the noise in the tavern.

Looking up at Azeal, he breathed deeply. All this was too much to take in at once for him. Holding onto the orb, he stood up and looked off into the distance. "Thank you but... I don't know where I would start." He couldn't see much due to the darkness besides the flames and Azeal's face. He seemed to be entranced by them for a moment before turning away. "We should head back though... Before it gets to dark to see." He said, trying to change the subject, and forget about what had just happened.

(oops sorry I thought that was what you meant, but I didn't know. Also I was very busy this week, my damn teachers gave me a crap load of home work all week. evil )

When Mia finished watching the orb she felt Varnis's father starring at her, she looked down. She began to speak, "I think I finally realize why my village secluded them selves to the mountains. They must have not agreed with what the other parts of the Nation were doing, so they moved to the mountains, away from the outside world." She looked back up at the man and Yelled, "JUST BECAUSE THOSE AIR NATION PEOPLE WERE CORRUPT, DOESN'T MEAN MY VILLAGE IS!" She looked over at Varnis and Azael, and then walked over to them. "I just know that my village is full of people who could never be like that," she said as she got beside them.

(ok fixed my post sweatdrop )

Azael was startled at Mia's outright disagreement. She wasn't sure where she was from but by the wings on her back it wasn't somewhere Azael wanted to go to at the moment. "Shall we?" She asked Varnis and Mia as she started down. Some thing wasn't right but she couldn't tell what, she eventually shrugged it off as nerves from the meeting with Varnis's father.
------
Sara silently followed Erik as he ran off. She was sure it must be important for such a vivid reaction from him.

After a long run, Erik reached where Varnis was. "Oh, great. This is just..." Erik's voice trailed off. "Varnis, what happened here?"

Sven reached the City of Stone a while later. Being a night-owl, Sven was in heaven right now. Hell, the parties started after night. Not to mention the goons that loved to try and mug him. Being without a good fight in such a long time really bothered Sven. He wasn't all for slaughter and such, but he liked fighting powerful opponents. He just hated killing.

Sven stepped into a tavern, not paying much attention to anyone within the walls of the building, and sat at a table. He was a minor still, but at times, he was still able to drink a bit. Unfortunately, it wasn't one of those nights. He also felt like it wasn't such a smart idea this time. Something was going to happen soon; he was sure of that. Glancing about, he noticed two people who just stood out to him. He leaned back in his chair and watched them discreetly.

((Its been three days since I sent pocket a message, and got no response... Oh well, moving on.))

"I believe you, but that doesn't mean that there aren't some people there that are..." Varnis sighed and looked down the stairs before drawing one of his daggers as he could hear foot steps coming from the stairs. He waited for a moment to see who it was as a figure started to show. Waiting a few more seconds, he realized who it was. "Uhhh..." He wasn't sure what to say, mainly from Erik knowing where he was, and him asking about. "Nothing, and how did you know where I was?" Varnis shook his head, and didn't wait for a reply. "No, never mind... We should go get some rest for the fight tomorrow." Varnis started to walk down the stairs of the bell tower.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You really should mind your own business." The woman didn't even look at Sven. She knew he was there, and watching them, but didn't seem to acknowledge him as she took another sip of the wine. "You are Sven, right? Come join us." Two ghostly figures seemed to appear in two other chairs. The three where skilled in air magic use, that much was clear.
Erik sighed, and then followed Varnis down the tower stairs. "You know that the Fire Nation wanted me dead. But I never told you why. The thing with the flaming sword-no one ever asked how I knew about its very existance. And knowing where you were, well, that was dumb luck. It's time I told you who I am, Varnis. The truth is, you and me may be the only people able to stop the Fire Nation."
Varnid didn't completely believe Erik's story. Just something seemed odd about it. Why would some one run all the way up the bell tower the way they did, just to ask what had happened? Pushing the thought out of his head, he finished walking down the stairs not talking, just thinking. "No two people can stop an entire army. Why would you think that?" He asked as Varnis walked out of the tower, and headed towards the village area as he yawned.
Erik laughed. "If my suspicions are correct, you and I both hold the power of every element. Or should I say, we hold the godpower of the elements. Unfortunately for the both of us, the Fire Nation is trying to bring one of them onto this world-Chaos, God of Darkness. If they succed, well, I'm not above sacrificing myself. I've done it before..."
((Theres only 4 elements, and 4 Gods of this realm. Hence why fire, water, earth, and air only. I am keeping it simple, and easy to remember. It also makes it easier to come up with the names of the Gods, and get pictures that I want to use for them. So please, edit your post accordingly.))
Sara followed Erik closely and when he went into a tall tower she waited at the bottom foyer of it. She waited anxiously not knowing what to do. She whistled a tune she remembered her mother had taught her.
----
Azael stared at the weird man before Varnis, they had started down the stairs so she followed closely afterward. She could tell Varnis knew the man, but didn't know how or why. She shrugged and took it in stride she kept her hand on the hilt of her sword but was sure she wouldn't need it.
Varnis just looked at Erik as he spoke. "The Fire nation isn't trying to bring a God into the world. They want to destroy everyone else, including the Gods, if at all possible." He sighed as he remembered what he was told. "The fire nation it self isn't bad, its just the one who claims to be their lord, who thinks he is superior to everyone else, including the Gods. But, I always thought controlling more than one element was impossible." He shook his head, not sure about what he should believe. If he really was the son of a fire lord, he should be able to control fire, and not Air, yet he was able to. "I need to sleep though... I have too many things to think about, and its getting too dark to see..." Varnis started to walk off to his new house. "Good night." He said as he continued. He seemed troubled, and seemed to have too much on his mind.
