Derek thought for a moment. Automobiles were too clumsy for the speed they would need. A horse and buggy might turn over. Then, he remembered the plans he had glanced at in the Parker Aeronautics building, for an experimental small-scale airship. It floated on a cushion of compressed steam to float inches off the ground, providing a frictionless ride. The problem was, they could never figure out how to make it stop. But, it would be the fastest way, and they were bound to have one stored there.
"I think I have the perfect vehicle." He said, nodding.

They landed about a foot away from the wreckage-having rammed through the police ships. Serrenedy got out of her ship "Ya coming?" She called to Remi-not waiting for an anwer she swung her hammer off her back and marched over to the crash. She began to smash against the door-it buckled relatively quickly under her relentless swings. Soon the door was gone. "SALLY" She called-stepping inside.
Sally continued to sob and apologize when she heard the harsh smashing. "Ren?" She whispered. She started to climb the stairs.

Rufus went down the stairs to the main deck. "Wha' is it?" He continued to go down to the lobby.
His attention snapped the front door that began to crumple inward.
Both hands retrieved a handcannon. He bit down on the thought of blindfiring whatever was on the other side the door.
The battered door couldn't take anymore, and bloomed into the lobby.
"'Ey!" Rufus angrily started. "Ya owe me a new door. Who tha' 'ell are ya anyway?"
Alice looked up to the ceiling, hearing something wooden shatter. Then some young woman's voice. She turned to look at the child, seeing her already gone. She slowly walked out of the room, her back still in the fiery rage that stuck with a white hot fury. Her legs swayed as they cautiously began up the flight of stairs.

"Who am I-Firstly, you owe me a little sister, secondly, the names Ren, don't forget it. Thirdly, put the dang pistol down before I send my hammer straight into your over sized head, I still might, but hey-DUDE. Not to mention. THe tirade was cut short from sobbing.
"REN-you're alive, I thought...then...WAH" Sally cried upon reaching the top of the stairs.
Serrenedy looked at her in shock, then back up at Rufus. "The f*ck did you do to her you insensitive clod!? You slam your ship into the ground cause of a stowaway." She growled and gripped it all the tighter. "I'll deal with you" She promised, going to her sister's side and drawing the girl into her arms.

"Honestly, ya gonna blame me for wha' a dolt kid did?" Rufus retorted, he lowered the revolvers. "We fell because out main engine failed. Now, get tha' 'ell off my ship. I 'ave got 'ings to take care of."
Alice finished to the top of the stairs. "Rufus, the main engine is shot." She noted the woman, but that was something she didn't care about.

"Fine by me mister things to take care of, oh and by the way-your about twenty miles away from the city with a broken boiler and cops on your tail" She flipped him the bird as she swung her hammer back on her back and helped her sister up with the other hand
"WE CAN'T JUST LEAVE THEM" Sally protested. "Their engines are gone, they're on the run from the law, they have no way out-Renny that's MEAN" She pouted up at her sister.
"As much as I think you should all die and I should kick it outta here before the cops come, Sally likes you, and I do have free space on my ship" She shrugged-hefting Sally on her shoulders "Ya comin?" She called as she walked away

"Awww just let them on," Remi said as he came out of Ren's ship. "There's probably a much better navigator among them than I am; my main specialty is, after all, mechanics." He found the situation to be rather silly: the airship he was originally trying to board crashed and he was rescuing the crew in a different airship... oh the irony.

"GOOD" Sally chirped. "You need sleep" She grumbled to Serrenedy, flicking her on her forehead. Serrenedy stuck her tongue up at her sister, "I do better without it, you know that"

Derek was completely shocked by the turn of events. It seemed a randomly angry woman with a hammer had just busted on to their ship and tried to order around the captain, which was, as he understood it, a huge offense.
"Well, cap, looks like you have a couple of choices ahead of you. That holding warehouse is just a few miles away." He added . In all honesty, He was hoping that the cap would go for the fixing of the ship. Quite frankly, he didn't trust this woman as far as he could spit. She seemed... Unstable.

Elmindir ran to the side the place of the ship crash, he murmured an incantation as he leapt into a tree (anyone who saw him jump would have seen that the leap was impassibly long and high) near the ship as he watched what the events. He watched as the second ship landed next to the other. Maybe to help? The elf sat on one of the limbs and waited for someone to come out of the ship. Maybe he should go inside? See if anyone needed help?
He decided to wait and see.

Moe was rather shaken by the turn of events [so much that she had fainted for a small while], and wobbled to her feet.
Shebegan to look for Alice.
"M-Miss Alice?"
She had plenty of dark thoughts, mainly concerning the 'lone survivor' scenario, but did NOT want to think about it.

Alice's eared picked up the echo of her voice. She turned her head slightly, the corner of her left eye picking up the stairs behind her. "Up, up the stairs." She said in a pained tone.
Rufus walked down the the smaller flight of stairs to wooden floor of the lobby. "Now, I am goin' to ask ya again, get tha' 'ell off of my ship before I romp all ya asses off." He spun the revolvers in his hands.
Cornelius cracked his fingers, adjusting the shotgun on his back. "Any good plans on destraction?"
Searil began to walk to the threshold to the main deck. "...A good few."

Moe heard Alice's voice, and, calmed, began to climb the stairs.
"What a horribly odd turn of events...!",she muttered, trudging up the stairs.

Alice breathed slowly from her nostrils. "We crashed, if you can't tell. Main boiler is dead. We need a new one."
Rufus turned his head at the sight of Moe. "If ya ok, ya comin' with me. We need ta' get somethin' important." Those constables were still hunting for them, and they were running out of time. He looked back to the girl with the wrench on her back.
Searil's and Cornelius' trampled on the deck as they ran towards the two automatic cannon's from the dogfight this morning. Cornelius began to undo the locking mechanism. The gun slid back, it's ponderous weight falling into his hands. He looked to the opposite side, where he saw the top of the ship that had landed near theirs.

Moe shook her head a little bit, as she was still dazed.
"I'll gladly come along, I'm just a little bewildered as to what HAPPENED is all. What could have happened to make the boiler become such?"
Her head bowed down.
"...it's been an odd day...", she mumbled.
