Kei stared at him for a moment and then gave him a smile. He was amazed by this man's will and Kei had no idea where he got that from. Obviously, Foust may not be a man of fear however no one can overcome fatigue and the effects of recuperation midway. "I am sorry, Foust-sama. But I can patch this up as soon as possible but you have to stay here for some time for your recuperation period. Though your mind is ready for your next training, there is no guarantee that your body is ready too." Kei said and then with a swift wave of his hand, the hook made its first penetration of Foust's skin. In a matter of moments, Kei managed to stitch his wound halfway. The wound was now beginning to narrow and close though the flesh was still fresh as a newly baked bread. Foust won't feel anything though so he'll just have to watch even though it might freak him out.
"So, I am saying that after this, you will have to stay here... I hope your sparring partner or partners understand this." Kei added and then smiled at Foust once more.

Suddenly, Foust sighed as if something was wrong. Being told he had to stay there longer than expected was a bummer. He was looking forward to lending his comrades a hand in the fight against the intruder. To pass time he watched the stitching of his stomach, and he knew there was going to be a scar there for awile. " I wasn't training. My comrades are fighting an intruder..." Disappointment was going through his easy going mind, for he felt obligated to help his fellow squad mates fight. Kei, being the doctor, said no, and Foust was smart enough to know why. There was obviously no way to get healed to the point where he coud leave right afterwards. Spending time in Squad Four's hospital wasn't his idea of a good day. Get healed, not help his friends, and do nothing was just overwhelming.

Kei looked at him for a moment when he finished stitching the wounds. He took a sigh as he observed Foust's bored image. Of course, he didn't want the guy to be stuck here too but Kei of all people should know the rules of healing and recuperation. Even though he wanted Foust to get back to his friends, the healer had no choice but to abide by the rules and let Foust heal properly. It was for the man's own good too, being stuck here.
"I'm really sorry for letting you down, Foust-sama." Kei said in an apologetic tone. He was now putting some bandage over the wound. "But it's for your own good too. I can't let you out there with fresh wounds in your stomach. I hope you understand very well this situation." He added and then frowned. This was one of the bad scenes that Kei really hated, putting down his patients in their questions and requests due to limitations.

Nodding his head, Foust shrugged his shoulders. It wasn't Kei's fault that the Squad Seven mmber couldn't go back to his friends. If anything, it was his own fault. During the past mission, he should have been able to evade Sadon's attack. What was done was done, and he wanted to put it behind him. "Don't worry about it. Um, do I need to stay here, or can I walk around?" Being restricted to the hospital was dull, and Foust would go nuts if he was forced to stay too long. If he could go walk around the place, he would beable to relax still. Although, with his wound needing to heal, he wouldn't engage in battle until he was approved he could. "Actually, how long do I have til I am good again?" The questins were important for him to know, since he was unsure himself. All that was on his mind now, was relieving boredom. If he got too bored, he might go crazy, and that would most likely be bad for his wound.

Kei nodded at Foust's question and then smiled at him. "Yes, let the wound for several hours and you will be able to walk. However, I suggest that you stay still for a whole night and the next day you'll be okay. You will be free to leave the healing room though I can say that your wound will still be quite fresh." Kei said and then began to fix the things he used for the small operation. He felt sad for Foust because he looked like he really needed to go to his friends. However, though Kei felt sympathetic for him, he must abide by the rules and think of Foust's welfare. He must prioritize the health of his patients rather than his emotions. Life is his main point here and not meetings.
Kei sighed in frustration for what he was feeling now.

Since it was already night time, he nodded with agreement to go to sleep there for the night. Resting his hands behind his head, he closed his eyes, but wasn't going to sleep yet. "Well, thank you for the patch up!" A smile grew on his face with his sharp sharl like teeth showing. The happiness finally came to as he thought that he would be better soon enough. By morning he could walk around again, and things would be ok then. For now, he had to get through the night. Randomly, a growling sound came from the newly patched up region of his gut. This made him laugh a bit as he knew what it meant, hunger. At the moment, he could have gone for a good meal, but he wasn't certain it was a good idea, since he just got through surgery. "Hahaha something tells me this will be a long night."

Kei immediately dashed to Foust when he heard a strange, growling sound. He sighed in relief when he saw Foust smiling and that it was just his stomach. He examined earlier that his damage has not yet fully reach and penetrated his stomach so eating would be no problem. The poor man must have no idea if he is allowed to eat. Kei sighed once again and then brought a small cup at his bedside then he shook his shoulders.
"Foust-sama, I suggest you eat first before you sleep." Kei said and then smiled at him. Oh God, how Kei hated that food. It was tasteless and was utterly horrible but nutritious nonetheless. The food was a running gag all around the Fourth Division as it is always an object of torture in daring games. Kei did not found it funny but entertaining nonetheless. He felt sad for Foust but again, it was the best for his health at the time being.

Hearing something about food caught the injured shinigami's attention quickly. When it came to food, Foust was capable of eating almost anything. Siting up, he looked around the room as if he was looking for something in particular. "Food? Where?" Since he didn't eat before his mission, and chose not to ingest anything after coming back, due to his injury, the shinigami was quite hungry. Randomly, another noise could be heard from the stomach of the man on the bed. This time it was louder, and made a longer sound that echoed somewhat in the room. With a big smile, he rubbed his head slightly laughing. "Hehe guess I am starving hehehehe." This foolish man was suffering from hunger, and had an injury. Hospital food would be the most likely food he would be given, but it was food. Beggars can't always be choosers, so Foust would eat whatever was given to him with pride. Plus, a free meal is the best meal.

Kei giggled at Foust's reaction as he began to ask about the food. Well, he did look like he was going to everything and anything in front of him so the Fourth Division rations would be fine for him. Aside from extremely revolting taste, the food was okay with nutrients and such, perfect for someone recovering from an injury. Then, Kei pointed at the cup beside Foust. The cup had no tag or what but it was a packed cup about the size of a normal coffee mug, when he opens it, he will see a green jelly something that is actually THE thing. Oh God, even Kei doesn't want to remember the taste of that horrible food.
"Well," Kei said awkwardly. "That's the food, it's very healthy, our specialty." He added and then gave off a creepy smile.

Once Kei pointed to the cup saying,"That's the food," the hungry shinigami had already removed the top of he cup to begin his mini feast. The jelly like substance that the cup contained was being guzzled down rapidly by Foust and his fork. It didn't take long for the meal to be over, and the container to be empty. After all, the Squad Seven shinigami was hungry. Gently setting down the cup, a sigh of happiness came from his mouth, for he had somewhat filled his stomach with food. "Hm, not bad. Thanks dude!" Seconds later, Foust made a small burp, then laughed a little. "Haha excuse my haha."
Laying back, he began to think of what he would do once he healed. Squad Seen members are hand to hand combat fighters, so fighting someone would be the right thing to do. That would be a way for him to get back int things, right after he recovered. Then of course, there was learning kido. There were a few kido he wanted to learn, but never went to learn them. More choices started to flow through his simple mind, until a dragonfly flew into the room. It caught his atention like it would for a small child.

Kei laughed when Foust devoured the horrible food of the Fourth Division without further ado. He didn't know what to think of his patient. It looked like Foust was some kind of devouring machine when he's hungry and Kei found it really weird. Even though he is hungry, Kei would still be cautious of what he would eat, especially that revolting food. Anyways, Foust fed on it and it was done, nothing more.
"Rest for a while, Foust-sama. Then, you will be free to go." Kei said happily, cleaning up the cup. "And thank you for eating up all your food." He added. Thank God for Foust about not being so picky. For a brief moment, Kei saw Foust stare at a dragonfly like a kid and found it extremely cute. However, he left him with his thoughts for him to recover properly.

((Sorry about inactivity. Was on a cruise to Mexico and could post.))
The next morning, Foust could be seen spread across th bed on his back. His left arm and right leg were hanging off the sides, while the other limbs were on the bed still. A small snore could be heard from the patient as he slept. Suddenly, the shinigami woke up fast to only fall off the side of the bed with a shout. "I didn't eat the tacos...." The loud thump surprisingly brought no pain to him. Standing up while dusting himself off, he decided to make the bed all nice and neat. After a minute, it looked like a nice bed from a bed catilog. with a stretch of his arms he prepared himself for his leave. "I am gonna be here again with my luck." the soul reaper then slowly walked out of the infurmery like he was told he could. While walking, another amazingly disturbing growl came from the bowls of his stomach. This time, all he did was giggle and left.

Kei was shocked the next day when Foust woke up when he fell off his bed and said something about not eating the tacos. Whatever that meant but he was quite sure that his patient had a good sleep. He took a sigh and then attended to Foust only to find himself ready to go and hit the road. Well, that was an unusual and fast recovery. Even though the wound was completely patched up, Kei doubted if he could move with it the next day. Astounding...
He made a respectful bow as Foust left the room giggling to himself. Well, Kei could have used a little thanks but I guess wit Foust's hunger issue, he doubted he could remember a small Fourth Division healer at all.

Something struck Foust's mind as he left like an arrow to the head. Quickly, he ran back to the place where he got patched up. There was something important he had forgotten, so he felt it necissary to go tend to the task. Running through the doorway, Kei was caught in sight. Walking over to the guy, Foust held out his hand for a simple handshake. "Sorry that I forgot, but thank you for the patch up, dude." Due to his hunger, he wasn't thinking straight, so forgetting to say thanks was slightly embarrassing. Still, the honor he had wouldn't allow him to feel right if he didn't show gratitude.

Kei was really shocked when Foust came back running through the entrance and then shook hands with him. He really didn't know what to think. Of course, he was touched because even though it was a little later he realized, he still managed to do so even though Foust looked like he was eager to leave the healing room. Kei then smiled at his patient and then shook his hands back warmly.
"It's okay, Foust-sama." Kei smiled at him. "You better leave then and have some breakfast because skipping meals is really bad for your health." He said and then gently held his shoulders and then led him out of the healing room, giving off a short giggle.
