"Yes, Domanova, my beloved! It is I, the... rather unfortunate one. But, how can I complain with this spicy reunion?" Charles reached up to rub his goatee like he used too; it was rather bushy long ago, but found no hair, and furthermore no flesh in some parts. Plus he had claws, so putting an end to that habit would have been the best measure. "Ah, yes, the diner. It's, from what I hear, right inside the gate, about a block in. Many have made remarks about it, gosh their mouths know no closure...!"

Charles gestured to the town. "Let us go."

Turning back, he saw Ed go into that odd state. "Is this normal for...uhh you said her name was Ed right? Oh right bad time for this. The name is Ziaram. Yet still, is this normal?" Kneeling down to try and get a better look.

Suisho Tomoe

She felt silly and odd and embarrassed and out of place. And then he hugged her back. It was the first time she could remember ever hugging him. Well, after she'd come here anyway. Even before coming here, holding her little son had been a moment to treasure due to her almost constant illness that kept mother and son separated more often than not. Now, however . . . things were different. This . . . this felt right. She felt safe, and Roy felt like home. Yes, he was exactly like his father, but he was his own person, too. What he'd lived through, the things he'd seen, the things he'd experienced . . . those things had made him who he was. And without reason, without any effort at all, she loved him.

"There's no need to thank me," she said softly, still half stunned from her realization. But it made sense, and this brought a true smile to her face.

She stepped back, still smiling. Her headache had faded to the dull throbbing she'd grown used to while traveling with--around Elibe all those years ago. This didn't bother her, but the fact that it wasn't completely gone meant that perhaps the danger had not completely passed yet.

Her gaze wandered, half looking for a quiet place to sit. Had there been so many people here before? Sue had wandered away, now talking to people Ninian did not know or recognize. There was Nino, and Amelia, too. . . .

"Are there . . . more people here than before?" she wondered aloud.

Nine, if she counted correctly. Nine faces she didn't know. Go see what all the commotion was about, or avoid the risk of the headache returning and find someplace quieter? No, they were dispersing now, it seemed, heading off somewhere. And she wanted to talk with Roy some more.

"Um . . . shall we find a place to sit?" she asked, looking to Roy. "And perhaps something to eat?" she added as her stomach began to growl.

Finally. Finally he was recognized by his mother. And he was hugged too. It made him a happy young lord, to have finally been hugged by his mother that he had not seen in so long. He hardly had any memories of her as a child. He knew Ninian had been through a lot, and that she had her reasons for leaving him without so much as a goodbye. And like any son to a parent, he loved her.

"I know. I just...felt like it needed to be said." he said, smiling a big smile.

They stepped back, and Roy rubbed the back of his head. She was looking much better now. Had their mother-son bond cured her headaches? He could also feel that weird feeling subside a little.

He then glanced around as well. He noticed quite a large crowd, amongst them Nino, Sue, Oujay, and Amelia, to name a few. He didn't recognize the giant Axe wielder that was with them, nor did he recognize the dancer that was with them. He then heard his mother say,
"Are there . . . more people here than before?"

"Yeah. It looks like it...a lot of people I don't know." he said, answering her question.

He then heard her stomach growl, followed by his grumbling. He placed his hand on his stomach.

"Yes Mother...let's go get something to eat and then find someplace to sit." he said. He then offered his hand to her, so that they could walk together and not get lost in the crowd.

Oujay looked at more people have come into the rather large group. He recognized one of them to be Rhys as he saw him during the Easter time. He turned his head to the one who's name he heard was Kyros. Apparently they were going to eat. "Go eating?" he thought. He was still pretty hungry. He had eaten something small, but really it wasn't enough to fill up a stomach. "I guess I can tag along," he said to the group as he wouldn't mind going to a restaurant with them to eat.

(( Short post then I go make food ))

With the three walking around with, a teddy bear, a bunny, goldfish, and now a stuffed horse and blue beetle. By the time they actually get out of the festival, Amara will have one EVERYTHING in the festival alraedy.

Just the thought made the prince laugh...That was..until his stomach suddenly growled and he shifted his eyes in embaressment. All this chasing Amara around had suddenly made him hungry. Which was a rare thing.

Ninian took Roy's offered hand, laughing softly as his stomach protested, demanding food. Taking their time, they made their way through the crowd, staying together because of their connected hands. Roy didn't seem to know the newcomers either, but that was no cause for concern. Right now, Ninian was still getting used to the idea that she had a son she could see, talk with, and even (she thought as she glanced down at their joined hands) touch without the worry that she would get him sick.

It seemed they weren't the only ones who were getting hungry. The newcomers were making their way towards a restaurant, joined by Sue, Amelia, and even Miss Nino.

"Where would you like to go eat?" she asked Roy, forced to raise her voice in order to be heard. "Should we follow the others, or . . . ?" She would let him decide.

(( Family moments are always so adorable~ :3 ))

... Alihi must have looked absolutely ridiculous to anyone passing by. With a plastic, pink crown around her head, having a horse plushie (Straw) on one shoulder and a bear (Berry) on the other, all while carrying a bag with a goldfish (Juju) swiming around in it... Yeah. Kind of unusual for the female tactician. She glanced over at her daughter, who was snuggling both a stuffed bunny (Cherry) a jar with a beetle in it (Ted). A smile appeared on her face.
I may look ridiculous, but damn it, I'm ridiculous and happy.

The tactician glanced over at Ephraim, noticing that his stomach started to growl. She frowned slightly. "... Do you want to go get some food? I can pay if you want."

He let out an light chuckle and turned to her. "I think we all should, you look a little famished yourself and LITTLE ONE HERE, needs to eat something BESIDES ice cream" gesturing at Amara once more whom only giggled at the though of ice cream once more.

Ephraim shook his head "We can split the bill then, I'd feel bad if you payed it all"

Roy was pretty content now. He was walking with his mother, holding hands as if he were the little kid, as they managed their way through the crowd. He had her blood in him, so even if there was a concern that he would get sick from her, he wouldn't.

He saw that Sue, everyone else, and the large group of newcomers were making their way to the restaurant. He then heard his mother speak. She was going to let him decide.

"Um...Let's follow the others. The more people to eat with, the merrier, right? I wanna sit by you if we get a table." he said with a smile.

Ed mumbled more as Ziaram and Lady Isadora approached. She'd lost her sense of speech, not quite registering what was being said or what the situation was. Ed was unable to explain why she had the rune, or that she had similar runes around her neck and her limbs, or that it wasn't the rune they were to be concerned with but rather the pain itself.

Not that it mattered. The pain was dulling down. She just had to recover from it. Ed, disoriented, cast an unfocused gaze toward (or perhaps through) Ganon. She didn't seem as though she understood what she needed or wanted.

Alihi blinked a couple of times. "I'm not--"

Gurglegurgle.

"... Point taken, let's go get some food. Some real food. And, since you insist, we'll split the bill. You can pay for yourself and I can pay for Amara and myself." She started to walk ahead, glancing at the restaurants. Most had at least a few people in them, but there was one in particular more people seemed to be going to. And the people were ones she recognized as well! She was tempted to go there, but there were two things stopping her. One, the fact that it wasn't just her decision, but also Ephraim's. Two, the wait would probably be long.

So, she turned back to Ephraim. "Any place you want to go?"
PostPosted: Thu Jun 04, 2009 6:34 pm

Ninian nodded. For some reason, she couldn't seem to stop smiling. Her headache, she noted, was now just a memory, for which she was grateful. Perhaps whatever the danger was had passed and would not return, but she was too pessimistic to really hope that could be true.

"Alright," she replied. Still holding Roy's hand, mother and son made their way to the restaurant.

Ephraim looked around, and saw a few that had some people but the line was insanely long. "I'm not particularly picky..." he started, there wasn't anything in particular he'd choose. Ephraim gestured at the one that was attracting more attention then the others and looked back at the tactician. "seems like a good place..its got more people then anywhere else."
PostPosted: Thu Jun 04, 2009 7:21 pm

Alihi looked to where Ephraim gestured. Two more people (Ninian and Roy) made their way to the restaurant. She frowned slightly. "I would agree with you, but there's so many people in there already. Probably really crowded and Amara usually starts to get a bit cranky when she hasn't eaten a good meal in a while."

Almost on cue, Amara began to fidget and whine. With a small sigh, she turned to Ephraim. "Here, I'll take her and you go off and take care of yourself. I'll take her to one of the food stands and just get whatever is available." She nodded in the direction of said stands and gave him a sincere smile. "We'll be alright. Just, uhm, spoil yourself with whatever, alright? We can meet up later if you wish."

((I'll just have him run off somewhere then xD ))

Amara was taken off the prince and Ephraim nodded. "Well I'm not one for sit in but sure, we can meet up later" he probably was going to see what was there and if he liked it, he'll get it, but a simple bread, sandwich or something to eat would hold him in for a good hour or so. He turned to the two and poked Amara on the forehead. "I'll see you later, kay? Don't give your mother too much trouble now~" he joked then waved before he wandered off into the crowds somewhere.
