Josh slowed down and looked at Zack, "Good idea... let's just get close enough before we..." Suddenly some of the cannibal broke off from the group and ran with their spears toward Josh, Zack, and Isaiah.

"And so Gentlemen we resume firing." Said Isaiah as he lifted his gun again and firing two shots at an incoming cannibal one hitting it in the chest and the other hitting its knee as its momentum sent it in to a tumble past the group.

Suddenly a soft, kind voice was speaking from somewhere outside the cave... it was calling Lanni, "Lanni..."

Lanni looked up when she heard her voice. She debated in her mind wether to get up and go or stay in the safety of the cave. The voice was so taunting and she was so curious. She stood up and dusted off her pants as she walked out of the cave. "Yes?"

The voice was hypnotic and it used a trick that this creature had learned. It called to her once again, "Lanni... help me... it's so very dark out here and I can't find my way.."

Lanni looked around once more and turned to a dark part of the forest. She walked into the trees as it grew darker.

The creature disguised itself as a human child and pretended it was hurt. It looked up as it saw Lanni. It held its arm and walked to her, putting on a fake limp, "Miss... Could you please help me?"

Lanni walked to the child and kneeled down. "Oh my, are you alright?"

The child looked up at Lanni and it's eyes were teary, "I thought that no one would hear me... I was attacked by some scary monsters..."

The child did not move from that spot, instead it looked Lanni in the eyes and grinned in a creepy way, "Your very pretty Miss..." Suddenly it transformed back to its original form and it put its hand on Lanni's forehead, making her faint.

The creature lifted Lanni and dragged her off to its lair. It smiled at her, it really did think that she was quite pretty.

Lanni soon woke up, she looked around. Her head hurt like a beotch. "Mmhn, H-Hello?" She closed her eyes tightly then opened them.
