Has anyone else noticed that all these RPGs are being dicussed in the Plot/Member profile thread..? lol

As for what happened to the RPing in the guild... well, with Onne gone for now, Morri offline for the past few days, and Quint's RP wrapping up, there's been an understandalbe lull of sorts. I blame it on the fact everyone is probably busy going to/getting ready for school again, as well.

So when does it start? We need something to get this guild going again. These dry spells suck.

Erasmus always has been one to follow his ideas of wrong and right. Its one of the reasons he thourough when cleaning and fixing things. After all, that was one of the reasons he was allowed to come, since he couldn't afford to travel to the island. Everything seemed to be going up since he got there, his quality of life, his artistic expression, and with no doubt his self-acceptance.

Yet there was a day when it all seemed to simply vanision. Durring the morning hours, when the many residents of the island were asleep, the boiler's pressure system got jammed. The jam would have caused the entire boiler to basically explode after the pressure built up, destroying much of the beautiful Purunrun Hotel and the Apartments. The people in the buildings were ofcourse evacuated, but having a surge of stuborness, Erasmus refused to simply let the building be destroyed when Aonice tried to get him to leave. ((I hope you don't mind this part Aonice >>)).

By the time he found the enterance to the boiler room, it had been locked with a strange mark on it, resembling a bloody hand forming the V-shaped peace sign, except with the thumb also sticking out. But he refuse even then to give up. Remembering that the old foundation was still intact, he took the old dumb-weighter down to it. It had been closed of since the entire hotel had been built over whatever was once there. An old black message had also been drawn on a board that covered the first hallway, saying that enterance was prohibited. He paid no heed to it and continued.

After stumbling through the dark, Erasmus finally found himself following the sound of the boiler itself, a slight whistle. That sound eventually led him to room with its easter side broken, on the other side was obviously from the more recent building, covered with tile instead of stone.

In the sweltering heat, he saw the same mark on the boilers control console. The console however was of no use, it was simply gauges, the highest gauge being the problem. So, he climbed around through the pipes that seemed to never end, and eventually found the problem. The release mechanism for excess steam had been jammed with a peice of metal. Climbing up farther to reach it, he saw that it was actually a very decorated sword.

As he reached out though, he felt a pain arch through his back, which soon became a blindness in his eyes and weakness in his legs. Yet, whatever it was didn't stop him from taking the sword. His last inch of movement was him grasping the sword. And so he fell, 1,2,3 stories, hitting the ground with the sharp snapping of bone and sinew as the mark that was on the console and the locked boiler door seemed to burn itself into his back, becoming slowly less of a burn and more of a pure back mark consisting of nothingness. Above him, the release system started spewwing out the excess steam, the room quickly becoming more hot and wet. The distance that it took to simply get into the boiler room from the old foundation was far to long and complex for someone to get to him in time, one would have had to have moved as fast as lightning to reach him. Yet, he was found with the sword, a rapier to be exact, outside of the the Ward at the Purunrun Defense.

Then, when the nurse arrived at the door, he was simply laying there, with the person who save him nowhere to be seen. It was soon accepted that his injuries were far to serious for even the medical-nins to handle, and he was shipped off to the mainland for study and recovery.

Oddly, it seemed that most of the people on the island completely forgot of that day, not recalling anything of it. It seemed that only a few ((The ones who are PCs)) recognized Erasmus when he did return after a spectacular recovering that made all of the medical experts scratch their heads. He was completely back to his normal physical self. But, He seemed a bit different, though it was hard to pin down exactly it was.

Not really superior, just equal. If she happens to be stonger, awesome. Quint simply likes a good challenge. And if it so happens that the challenger has a nice pair...all the better. xd
